Amazing. My son was struggling with his maths, he lost his confidence in it. A family member mentioned Mellors mind craft and im forever grateful she did. My son gained back his confidence and passed his maths GCSE. I would highly recommend Mellors Mind craft to anyone that is struggling. They dont just make the children feel comfortable amd happy, they do the same with the parents.

Rachel was lovely from start to finish and was so understanding. Her teaching was outstanding and my daughter was so relaxed and enjoyed every moment.

We genuinely cannot thank Mellor’s Mind Craft enough for everything they have done for our son, Ollie. From the very beginning, Rachel took the time to identify the gaps in his learning and created a personalised programme that rebuilt his confidence as well as his academic skills.

The support Ollie received in preparation for his SATs was exceptional. Every session was purposeful, engaging and tailored to his needs, helping him feel calm, capable and ready to perform to the best of his ability. The communication with his school has also been fantastic, ensuring everyone worked together to support his progress.

What has really stood out is the support beyond academics. Rachel has gone above and beyond to prepare Ollie for his transition to secondary school, making sure he feels confident and excited about the next chapter. We honestly cannot recommend Mellor’s Mind Craft highly enough. From the moment our son started attending twice a week, the support he has received has been nothing short of incredible.

Rach and her team have supported us with so much more than tuition. They have taken the time to understand our son, supported us throughout his diagnostic journey, prepared detailed reports to ensure his needs were fully understood, and have been there every step of the way to advocate for him. Knowing that someone genuinely understands your child and is willing to fight in their corner is priceless.

Thanks to their patience, encouragement and expert teaching, our son went into his SATs feeling calm, prepared and, most importantly, confident in himself. Seeing him believe in his own abilities has been one of the greatest gifts we could have asked for.

Mellors Mindcraft has truly helped save both my children's and my own mental health.

My eldest has been with Rachel since 2023, and my youngest joined in 2025. Both of my children have complex needs and have struggled within mainstream education. After countless sleepless nights worrying about their wellbeing and future, I found Mellors Mindcraft.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am to Mellors Mind Craft tuition for the amazing impact she has had on my daughter's life. She has been attending these classes for over 7 months now, and the changes I've seen in her are truly remarkable.

My daughter had suffered from cataracts in both eyes, which severely affected her confidence. She became withdrawn, constantly picking at her nails, and even developed infections. It was heartbreaking to see her like this, always holding onto my arm and avoiding eye contact whenever we were out. Her academic progress suffered as well, and she fell far behind her classmates at school.

That's when i reached out to Rachel, and it turned out to be the best decision i ever made. She has been an absolute blessing for my daughter. Excellent tutoring with fun approach. Helped my daugher through year, her maths came on so much in a year. Improvements to her literacy as well. Provides progress reports and provided me with evidence to help with assessments my daughter was referred for.

Rachel is the loveliest, most caring and understanding tutor. She has helped my daughter so much with not only her school work but her confidence to try work instead of shutting down and being so anxious she could attempt it. I can’t praise her enough!!

Rachel is a fantastic tutor for my little boy 9. English, hand writing, SPAG etc was something he was behind in and all of the work Rachel has done has seen a great improvement. Following this success we also chose Rachel to tutor him for his 11+ exams which he is progressing brilliantly in. The setting is a great, a real classroom environment which encourages learning and mirrors the school environment. I would highly recommend.

Rach is amazing with our 5 year old son. He's got a rare genetic disorder which causes some developmental delays and since attending we have seen him come along and so have his teachers at school. He loves coming and is the highlight of his week. She is very accommodating of him when he is having his worst days and we love seeing him succeed there.

Rachel is amazing, our daughter loves going each week, initially Rachel helped with English and Maths but recently she’s helping our daughter prepare for 11+. She has a great approach with the children and keeps us informed along the way.

Ivy was very shy when she first started with Mrs Mellor, but she ensures she works around every child individually and this has built ivys trust and confidence massively.

Wow, what could I say about Mellors Mind Craft? I found Rachel through a friend during the first lockdown all of 3 years ago! My son was in year 2 and struggling. We spoke to Rachel for a bit of guidance and support, and wow, that's what she did, Rachel guided us, supported us, and we became friends. My son really enjoyed the extra support that Rachel gave and the different ways of learning.
