Received my summerhouse, all built, very happy

Driver was helpful. Carried to my rear garden. All items were intact and safety delivered no damage.

The company I dealt with sheds.co.uk were great. Easy to get to hold and communicate with. The delivery company were not so good. Unhelpful, very abrupt and impolite driver. Sheds.co.uk and Sixty Stores were helpful and polite. Instructions were via a QR code that didnt work so I called Sixty Stores and they were great and emailed then straight away. Shed is good quality and price and beey happy with product.

Our experience with Mercia Gardens and Walton’s has been extremely disappointing. Although these appear to be separate trading names, they are part of the same company, and our experience with the purchase, installation and aftercare has left us very dissatisfied.

We purchased a log cabin with an attached shed, expecting a well-designed, properly manufactured and professionally installed building. Unfortunately, we have experienced a number of issues, some of which remain unresolved despite repeated correspondence and attempts to get the company to put things right.

One of our main concerns is the design and construction of the attached shed. The cabin is constructed using 44mm timber, whereas the adjoining shed uses 19mm timber. This difference in thickness has resulted in concerns about how the two structures join together and the overall finish and quality of the building. We do not believe these issues have been adequately addressed.

There have also been problems with the installation, including windows and doors not fitting correctly, a sticking door, gaps and concerns about the overall finish. We have had to spend considerable time chasing the company and trying to obtain a satisfactory resolution.

Although remedial work has reportedly been carried out, the matter has still not been properly concluded, with further work to the window outstanding. More importantly, our concerns about the design and construction of the attached shed remain unresolved.

What has been particularly frustrating is the lack of a satisfactory resolution to the underlying issues. We purchased this building in good faith and expected the company to take responsibility for ensuring that the product supplied and installed was fit for purpose and finished to an acceptable standard.

I would urge anyone considering purchasing from Mercia Gardens or Walton’s to do their research carefully and make sure they fully understand the construction specifications and what support they can expect if something goes wrong.

We are still seeking a proper and satisfactory resolution to these issues. This review reflects our personal experience and the difficulties we have faced in trying to get the company to put things right.

Neil was brilliant when delivering my new shed. He was friendly, professional and made the whole experience a pleasure. The delivery went smoothly, and I’m really pleased with the service provided.

Friendly, one time with my shed, care with unloading.

Unfortunately the QR code instructions did not work, the link on Wayfair did not work, when we contacted you through Wayfair for the instructions to be sent, we were ignored and never received them. We had to spent ages googling similar models and hoped for the best. Due to this the shed is definitely not up to scratch and is flimsy and was a pain in the butt to put together. For the price we paid I expected WAY more sturdiness and at the very least some paper instructions or a link to them that actually worked…

thank you for texting the instructions however unfortunately it’s too late now as this was delivered 21st September and we needed it up for that weekend so we had to spend an hour googling the model to try and find somewhat similar instructions so the shed currently has gaps and has had to be ‘guessed’ in some areas so isn’t the best quality

The delivery went off very well , arriving quite punctually, driver delivered to our address following quite specific instructions for which he thanked us . Building when together fairly easily AFTER downloading them this was a situation that either I missed or was not explained when buying . The only very poor design ( I think this has been commented on before ) is the windows and window ledge after much swearing I decided to use my own initiative and fix a lot more securely. Apart from this I am quite pleased with the finished shed .

Overall our purchase was very good, and we are happy with the end result, but the screws to fit the product together were not very good at all, and a better solution should be made. And it doesn't help when there was not enough screws to put together.

Would not recommend this company garden shed was very flimsy and a few of the slats on the panels were already detached from the framework which I had to re-nail, I’m going to have to reinforce the base floor as it’s very thin and will go throw it in no time
Delivery service was quick but not so good product

The shed itself is fine however the instructions were absolutely useless had to pretty much guess how it went together

Very bad quality product had for one month and all the wood has pretty much rotted through do not order from this company

Purchased a metal garden storage box from this company via Wickes & on receiving the said item I found that the lid was damaged. I contacted the company who sent out a replacement lid which also unfortunately had a scratch completely along the length of the lid.
I decided that it wasn’t worth the aggravation trying to get a replacement yet again & started to build the box, only to find that there were missing screws. I therefore had to contact them again in order to get the missing parts.
I understand that Mercia are only the sellers (via Wickes) but I expect a company to supply products in good condition & with no missing parts.
I have contacted Wickes with regards to compensation for the damaged lid & the inconvenience caused & am awaiting their reply as they need to liaise with Mercia.

On 16/10/26, I had a delivery driver named Mick, he was absalutely fantastic!
He was prompt with the delivery time , he was very friendly and chatty and gave a wonderful service.
He made sure he stacked it all in my back garden properly for me and also verbally told me he had arranged the two seperate sheds all in order of arrangement for me. Hes an asset to your company!

I'm 82 yrs old and am very pleased with how sheds UK dealt with my order apart from one thing.

To put the shed together, firstly you need to scan the QR Code to be able to print out the instructions on how to assemble the shed.

This is ridiculous. The reason being.... HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE THE FACILITIES TO DO THIS, ESPECIALLY MOST PEOPLE OF MY AGE. THANKFULLY THAT DOESN'T APPLY TO ME.

So with respect, I would suggest that Sheds UK send written instructions with their product. Obviously this will involve printing costs which is probably why they don't do it. Also to make sure that it can be printed because when my son tried printing out the instructions they printed out in landscape format which missed the ends of each line of instructions.

After eventually managing to erect my 8x8 corner summer house. I show my negative review of the product supplied.
The quality of the constructed panels were very poor. The floor and roof panels would not match together and I had to purchase sash clamps and g- clamps to get the panels to line up and clamp them together. If when ordered it would come green I definitely would not have ordered why does that be stated in the description. Over all I’m really disappointed with my summer house.

The fitters were great product as a few issues
Main one being why wud anyone make a summer house with a door 0pening less than 6ft
I av hit my head on door jam numerous times so be carefully wen ordering if yr over 5 8 tall u will regret it
