I had Michael's frame a cross-stitch picture. When I picked it up they hadn't stretched it properly and the crease was still showing from where the fabric and been folded. They also didn't tape any threads I missed clipping and so these threads were all showing thru the fabric. When I said it looked awful I was told this is normal and adds character. I took it apart when I got home and was able to do it properly and now it's perfect. I won't use Michael's again. It was a very unprofessional framing job.

I made an order at the incorrect store location Pinecrest instead of Grant Crossing. I called them to cancel the order. They told me I could not cancel until I got confirmation that the order was ready. So I waited and I got a text stating that the order was ready for pickup. So I called them back to cancel the order on the order. There was two skeins a blue yarn, two skeins of white yarn, one crochet hook, and another set of crochet hooks. The set of crochet hooks was marked for delivery and they charged me $12.95 for delivery. When I asked if instead of canceling the order can I get the whole order delivered? They called me a liar and said I was not charged for delivery. I mentioned to them. I am looking at the invoice right now and I am being charged $12.95 for delivery but they would not bother to check the invoice. So I called customer service and they did state that. Yes I was being charged for delivery that they could cancel the yarn and the one crochet hook but they could not cancel the set of crochet hooks that were set for delivery. I could not understand that but I stated I would expect to get that delivery today as on the website it says same day delivery. The lady I was speaking to from customer service said no it takes 2 to 3 days. Well as far as I'm concerned Michael's does not have me as a customer anymore. And by the way, I am a very good customer as I have ordered from them at least once a week for the last 4 months. As far as I'm concerned, it is false advertising on the website that it is same-day delivery but she refused to cancel my order. I am completely dissatisfied with the service that I got from the store itself and from customer service. I have since read many reviews for Pinecrest store and their staff are rude to customers and not good reviews I recommend that if you're going to purchase from Michaels, go to the Grant Crossing store or go somewhere else altogether.

I need to update this to state how quickly I received my t-shirt from Michaels. It was not in stock at my store. It was shipped from another store out of province. It arrived within a few days and is great!
It is too bad that shipping costs have taken a hit, along with the cost of quality products. I hate to see prices rise. But, with all things considered, I will definitely support Michaels. If there are issues, I know the return will not be a problem. They work with the customer as much as possible.For my own benefit, this brings me peace of mind.

Based on prices at this store all I can say is this company sure has some big balls. I've always known they had high prices but tonight I came across something that is a whole new level. I was looking at Command Clips Small Outdoor Clips and found them at 1 store for $13.50 or Amazon for $12.95. Then there is Michaels who has the audacity to charge $26.99!!!!!! They must not think that people have the internet and look up prices online and therefore they just might get away with it. I find this level of ripping people off disgusting and have no intentions of shopping at Michael's ever again. They don't deserve my money that's for sure.

I am unimpressed with with the customer service and product availability. I am trying to purchase something that is physically in store but because it’s not listed online I cannot pick it up. I spoke to countless customer service people and the best I was given is to call the store to hold it for me. I find it terrible that the store employees can’t grab it from in stock in the store and add it to my curbside pickup order and I can just pay over the phone. This needs to be fixed!

Absolutely disgraceful for an unnecessary/non essential store like Michaels to be open to the public during a GLOBAL Pandemic putting “stupid” customers at risk and their “valued” employees.....I for one will shop elsewhere when this is all over !!

Second time going to an art store, and this place is awesome, they have the stuffs the I needed hopefully the price is much cheaper in the future. The staff was very cheerful, welcoming and knowledgeable about their products. It is January 2020 now and I recommend this art store.
