We travelled in Cuba in february 2026, in the middle of a deep crisis. On the practical side, the conditions to organise a smooth travelling experience were extremely challenging. Francisco and his team were OUTSTANDING. As well in preparation, sharing most reliable information of current situation, as in availability and follow-up during the journey: you could wish no more. The trip that was worked out for us was hand-tailored, perfect fit. Francisco listens well to your expectations and manages to translate it into a good travel proposal. The accomodations, the excursions, the guides, and transport (special thanks to Xavier!) , as to us, couldn't be better.

MiCuba is een reisorganisatie die we van harte kunnen aanbevelen. De reis is maatwerk waarbij de medewerkers in de offertefase goed meedenken om invulling te geven aan je wensen.
Ook tijdens de reis is er contact mogelijk. Het verblijf in een casa zorgt ervoor dat je bij Cubanen “thuis” bent. Alles is tot in de puntjes geregeld.

Travelling to Cuba as an American is tricky. There are many restrictions we had to navigate. Monique and the entire team were so communicative, solution oriented and patient with my many questions.

Once on the ground in Cuba, the experience was flawless. Every tour, every guide, every taxi was amazing. Havana, Trinidad and Veradero were a great balance of culture, people and beach. We highly recommend the cooking class and trip to Vinales.

Yunior, Omar, Luis and the entire Cuba team were in constant contact to make sure we were good.

Despite the challenges the Cuban people face everyday, it was so inspiring to meet them, hear their stories and share in their lives. I feel we were able to see the real Cuba and thank MiCuba for organizing such an inspiring trip!

Fantastische reis door contact met locale mensen die echt openstaan voor jou! We hebben als stel rondgereisd met privé taxi’s, punctueel op tijd. In een combinatie van casa particulares en hotels. Als het om contact en lekker eten gaat, winnen de casa’s met gemak.

Chauffeurs en gidsen die je heel correct behandelen en die waarderen als je hen als dank een lunch aanbiedt op plekken die zij het beste weten aan te geven. Dat leverde mooie momenten en soms ook goede gesprekken in het Engels op. We hebben daardoor in ruim twee weken heel veel van de binnenkant van Cuba mogen zien.
Cubanen beleven moeilijke tijden, maar zijn open en vrolijk in contacten, ook gewoon op straat of bij het dobberen in zee.
Mi Cuba zet consequent in op duurzaam toerisme en heeft een vast netwerk van mensen die passie hebben voor hun land. De organisatie was vlekkeloos en de communicatie uitstekend. Voordat we gingen vliegen was er al een groepsapp aangemaakt voor ons vanuit het operationele team in Trinidad. Daarmee 24/7 makkelijk contact.

Reisspecialist Monique heeft ons tot in details tips gegeven voor de voorbereiding, maar ook tips om iets bij te dragen als je dat wil. Zo hebben wij een halve koffer paracetamol meegenomen en achtergelaten in een kerk bij de eerste tour Havana behind the scenes. Kortom: als je met MiCuba reist, ga je de verbinding met Cubanen voelen en waarderen.

Hanno organizzato tutto alla perfezione e soprattutto, durante il nostro soggiorno, ci hano supportato per qualunque problema e necessità.
Le case e le guide scelte rispecchiano le nostre aspettative e ci hanno permesso di vivere la vera autenticità di cuba.

Somos una pareja española de 70+ que tenía muchas ganas de hacer un tour por nuestra cuenta a Cuba pero organizado de la mano de una agencia.
Mi Cuba fue un acierto ya que Mariana entendió perfectamente lo que queríamos: casas particulares en lugares como La Habana, Viñales, Playa Larga, Cienfuegos, Trinidad, un Cayo … y nos elaboró una ruta según nuestras ideas y sus consejos.
La información previa por escrito fue muy amplia y útil.
Además podíamos dirigirnos a ella por correo electrónico o WhatsApp con nuestras dudas.

Nos organizó unos alojamientos estupendos (todos con baño) super limpios y sobre todo con unos anfitriones encantadores y cercanos, volcados sobre nuestro bienestar pese a los cortes de electricidad diarios. Los desayunos siempre empezaban con un gran plato de fruta y un zumo recién preparado. Nunca faltó el café.
En algunas casas nos preparaban cenas muy completas con langosta, ropa vieja o pescado.

El transporte entre todos los lugares fue en taxi y funcionó con suma puntualidad, igual que los tours contratados. Buenos conductores y coches cuidados.

Así que sólo tenemos elogios en cuanto a la organización previa y la estancia en sí.

Súper recomendable preparar todo lo que implica un viaje a Cuba con MiCubaTravel. Nuestro agente fue Luis Orlando y estuvo más que a la altura en todo el proceso de cotización y cierre de la preparación del viaje. Desde aquí queremos darle las gracias. Una vez en la isla, todos los servicios contratados, aunque especialmente, los chóferes, hoteles en La Habana y las casas de acogida estuvieron geniales. Lo único que cambiaríamos es la experiencia en Varadero, pues elegimos un hotel 5 estrellas y sin dudar nos iríamos a una casa de acogida. Para la próxima... Terminar diciendo que Cuba ha sido un país que nos ha encantado, una joya en medio del mar Caribe pero que en fechas de nuestra visita se cae a pedazos. Cortes constantes de luz, poco abastecimiento de alimentos... mucha precariedad en las calles... aún así, el pueblo cubano resiste y avanza, siempre con su sonrisa en la cara y su música non stop. Es una lástima lo que le está pasando al pueblo cubano, que desde luego no se merece las consecuencias del sistema político que les gobierna ni las consecuencias de un bloqueo económico asfixiante de los EUA, aunque me temo que esos no son sus únicos dos problemas. Cuba es un viaje al que hay que ir preparado para vivir su gente, sus calles... su pueblo, vaya. Con todo lo que eso conlleva. Con la mente abierta.
Termino diciendo que volvería a reservar mi viaje a Cuba con MiCubaTravel y ojalá pueda volver a hacerlo con la ayuda de Luis Orlando. Muchas gracias de nuevo!!! Estamos en contacto, amigo!

Me diseñaron un viaje a Cuba teniendo en cuenta mis expectativas y presupuesto. Al llegar al aeropuerto me estaban esperando, a pesar del retraso en el vuelo. Toda la previsión se cumplió al detalle sin ningún contratiempo reseñable. Los alojamientos y el transporte cumplieron con lo acordado. En definitiva, una agencia confiable, seria y recomendable.

Alloggi in case particular ottimi con colazioni abbondanti e cortesia dei padroni di casa. consiglio LOS BALCONES DE OFICIO a havana vecchia,casa ZUNILDA Y RAYA di cienfuegos casa TERESA Y RODOLFO di trinidad.

Ivano ed io abbiamo deciso di intraprendere questo viaggio con qualche esitazione a causa delle notizie che ultimamente circolano su Cuba . Mi riferisco a numerosi blackout, problemi con le connessioni wi-fi, scarsità di beni ed aumento di piccoli furti. In parte queste cose sono vere e vanno tenute in considerazione. Ma un viaggio a Cuba merita sicuramente qualche piccolo sacrificio per la bellezza del territorio, i colori, la musica, la storia e per la gentilezza e la simpatia della gente. Infatti non appena contattato MiCuba e parlato con Luis Orlando - che ci ha seguiti durante l'organizzazione del viaggio e durante il viaggio stesso - è prevalso il desiderio di partire per conoscere l'isola. Abbiamo viaggiato in coppia per 15 giorni soggiornando in case private ed è stata una piacevole esperienza. Le camere erano semplici ma spaziose e pulite e le colazioni ottime, quasi sempre servite su terrazze all'aperto. Abbiamo avuto buone guide, sempre disponibili anche oltre gli orari previsti . Parlavano bene l' Italiano Luis a l'Avana e Harold a Cienfuegos mentre le viste guidate si sono svolte in Inglese e Spagnolo con Jacqueline a l'Avana e con Arianna a Trinidad. Tutti professionali, puntualissimi e molto disponibili.
Ottimo il servizio dei transfer in auto pulite con autisti tranquilli alla guida. Con loro abbiamo fatto lunghe chiacchierate, molto interessanti per conoscere meglio l'isola.
Luis Orlando ci ha aiutati per un nostro disguido a Trinidad e per la richiesta di variare il programma dell'ultimo giorno . E' stato tutto risolto rapidamente e nel miglior modo possibile.
Ivano ed io siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti del viaggio e delle attività suggerite da Luis. Consigliamo assolutamente un viaggio a Cuba e MiCuba travel è una buona opzione per viaggiare in autonomia ma disponendo di un supporto locale in caso di necessità.

Micuba arranged all transportation, accommodations, and various excursions for us. The transportation went smoothly for the most part. Drivers often arrived 15 minutes early. The only exceptions were the transfers to and from the airport, which were a bit less smooth, but after contacting them, everything was quickly resolved.

The accommodations were generally good and included tasty breakfasts. We would like to specifically mention Casa Cristal in Viñales, where we were warmly welcomed by Kenny’s family. Viñales was, in fact, our favorite destination.

The excursions were mostly fine, although we had expected more actual walking during the hikes. In particular, the excursion to Topes de Collantes was disappointing. We were warned in advance about the hike’s difficulty, which got us excited for a 7-hour adventure. However, the actual hike lasted just over an hour. We didn’t find the hike challenging at all, and the rest of the time was spent listening to explanations at a fruit shop, learning how coffee is made (something we had already experienced elsewhere), and enduring a lot of waiting. We felt this excursion was a waste of our day.

Overall, however, we are very happy with Micuba. They truly took care of everything for us, and communication was quick and efficient whenever needed.

I had a great time in Cuba thanks to the MiCuba agency. It was easy to book the places I'd like to visit. I completely loved the experience of staying in native's houses. All the information and recommendations we receive are very clear. The only thing I would point out is to reinforce that when the transfers are not private, they can take a while more to get you and start the trip. But nothing that made me change any plans. In the end, it was all perfect! Thank you very much for all!

We traveled to Cuba on December 13th and returned on December 24th. Since it was our first time, we booked all transportation and tours with Mi Cuba. Everything was excellent and I plan to go back. Cuba faces several challenges due to the embargo and being included in the list of terrorist countries. That's why I chose to book and pay for all ground transportation in advance, we used both individual and collective transportation. The collective transportation takes between 10 minutes and 1 hour to pick up the passenger, goes from hotel to hotel, and works very well. Mi Cuba's service is great and I got all the tips and information I requested, and I was able to do all the tours I wanted. 10 out of 10!

Definitivamente, o trabalho de MiCuba Travel foi fundamental para o acerto de nossa viagem. Cuba tem suas peculiaridades e às vezes é difícil organizar a logística da viagem, sem falar em algumas burocracias impostas pelas plataformas de hospedagem. Agradecemos especialmente a Mariana Baffil por sua atenção, cuidado e profissionalismo. Até teria ficado um pouco mais barato se fizesse tudo por minha conta, mas a tranquilidade e a segurança proporcionadas pela Agência justificou plenamente o custo/beneficio.

El trabajo de MiCuba Travel fue definitivamente fundamental para el éxito de nuestro viaje. Cuba tiene sus particularidades y en ocasiones resulta complicado organizar la logística del viaje, sin contar cierta burocracia que imponen las plataformas de alojamiento. Agradecemos especialmente a Mariana Baffil por su atención, cuidado y profesionalismo. Habría sido un poco más barato si lo hubiera hecho todo yo mismo, pero la tranquilidad y seguridad que me proporcionó la Agencia justificó plenamente el coste/beneficio.

MiCuba Travel's work was definitely essential for our trip. Cuba has its own peculiarities and sometimes it is difficult to organize the logistics of the trip, not to mention some of the bureaucracy imposed by the accommodation platforms. We would especially like to thank Mariana Baffil for her attention, care and professionalism. It would have been a little more cheaper if I had done everything myself, but the peace of mind and security provided by the Agency fully justified the cost/benefit.
