When a customer experiences an issue with their dispenser, we do initially try to troubleshoot, as we find that issues can often be resolved with a small adjustment to the setup. We’re always keen to get things working as intended so our customers can have the best experience, while also avoiding unnecessary product waste.
That was genuinely the intention behind our replies, rather than any intention not to honour your return request. However, we appreciate that once you had made it clear you no longer wished to troubleshoot and wanted to return your order, we should have moved straight to helping you with that.

Dispenser problems
If you’re going to put something on the market that will make people move from toothpaste tubes, at least make the dispensing process faultless. Three days in and I’m ready to throw the dispenser in the bin and just use the formula. My dispenser needs to remain partly unscrewed to get a full pump. It definitely doesn’t line up to the logo as the instructions say it should and unless it’s completely upright, it won’t dispense. Mine is used by my whole family and children will not always use it at a vertical angle.

Missing dispenser and unanswered emails …
What do you have to do to get their attention? I signed up for a subscription and a free dispenser with 3 refills and got the 3 refills delivered on 15th July. There's nothing in my online account to suggest an outstanding delivery of the dispenser is due and no note came with the parcel. I've sent 3 emails that have been ignored. I'm not able to comment on the product as I haven't been able to use it .........

I’ve been using Mighty for a few weeks…
I’ve been using Mighty for a few weeks now so thought I’d share my views. The ordering process was super simple, the delivery time was very reasonable (not next day but a few days). The pump and refill was easy to put together and use. The actual toothpaste is a revelation! Mighty recommend two pumps per brush, which seemed like too small an amount compared to my old toothpaste, but I was wrong. It doesn’t foam up like traditional toothpaste which takes a little getting used to, but the foam you do get is sufficient to get the job done and you very quickly adapt to a new way of doing things. The mint taste is very pleasant and tastes like a natural mild mint rather than the super intense flavour from regular toothpaste, but that taste you do get sticks around. Your mouth feels fresh and clean all day! The stain removal/whitening is great too, better than my Colgate Whitening I was using.
Due to menopause I often suffered with a sore/sensitive tongue/mouth after brushing - this has disappeared pretty much overnight!
Overall, I’m very impressed and will keep using it. Oh, and my dentist was impressed too! Five stars all round - great job, Mighty! 👏⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not impresed…
I ordered a pump but it doesn't come with the cartridge so is of little use. I probably didnt read all the info, but was expecting to be able to use my own toothpaste brand in this as it states that it is refillable. It isnt really refillable, more I would say re-loadable.

Pump majorly lets this product down…
Unfortunately I have had the same issue as many have reported. The Toothpaste takes many pumps to set sufficient amount on my Toothbrush and closes whilst pumping. I have tighten the cartridge and still not working.
Shame as nice bottle looks good in my bathroom and great idea.
I have however had to return to my usual Toothpaste as the last thing I want to do in the morning and last thing at night is wrestle with cleaning my teeth.

From what you've described, it sounds like the dispenser may not be creating the airtight seal needed to dispense the toothpaste properly, or there could be a fault with the pump. We'd really love the opportunity to get this sorted for you.

The dispenser does not work
Whilst the tootpaste and dispenser turned up within the time scale stated on the website, the actual product, ie the dispenser, does not work! The concept is great, less plastic, less chemicals and the toothpaste does taste quite good. However, no matter what I do the 'pump' mechanism on the container doesn't work. How can it? There is no tube from the pump into the container so how does the toothpaste get onto your toothbrush? Very unlikely I will get a refill

Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you're having problems. From the sounds of it, it sounds like the refill hasn't been screwed into the pump head and instead put loose into the base of the dispenser. Could you kindly try screwing into the pump head and then putting back together to see if it works?
Our dispenser works with an airless pump system so doesn't have a traditional tube going into the refill.

The V2 is so much better than the V1 for those of us with Arthritis
I loved the V1 but it was difficult to hold for someone with arthritis. When I saw the V2, I was overjoyed. It is much better to hold and use. There is still a small flaw in the system which is the nozzle, where the toothpaste comes out, is tiny and often means toothpaste either gets stuck when the head of the V2 comes up or needs tipping horizontally to ensure this does not happen. If the nozzle could be extended over the edge of the V2 tube, that would be so much easier to avoid wastage.
I love the dark blue colour and have subscribed so I look forward to receiving my refill. Delivery is great, tracked through "Shop" and was delivered well within the guideline times.

Disappointing
I really wanted to love this product as there is a lot of plastic wastage with standard toothpaste tubes.
It took a number of weeks after I placed the order for it to actually arrive. There was no communication on why, until I wrote in to ask. If a product is currently out of stock but customers are placing and expecting orders, it's important to reach out to them and let them know there will be a delay in receiving it.
I could easily get over the delay if the product was excellent. I struggled to work out how it was meant to go together because the paper instructions included in the packaging do not show that the refill needs to go into the dispenser, and not the base. I thought it was faulty so left it for about a week before I attempted to put it together again. I found a video online, and wehay! I got it. The paper instructions therefore need to be improved imo.
In terms of dispensing the toothpaste, I find I need to do 2-3 pumps to get a sufficient amount of paste on my brush. With each pump, the top twists back a small amount, effectively closing it off. So before I can do the next pump, I have to twist it open again. My boyfriend became too frustrated and went back to using ordinary toothpaste within a couple of days. I'll try to finish this refill.
I gave this two stars and not one star, for the actual toothpaste itself. I was concerned moving from Sensodyne that my teeth would become sensitive and painful (as has happened when I have tried other toothpastes), but they haven't. The taste is also nice.
Final point. When you are on the product page of the toothpaste on the MM website, it looks as though it is rated 5 stars ("Loved by thousands of happy mouths"). If you then click on the stars to read the reviews, it takes you to this Trustpilot page where the rating is actually only 3.7 stars. I find this misleading.

Firstly, regarding the delivery delay, you're absolutely right that customers should be kept informed when orders are taking longer than expected. During the stock shortage, we did send email updates to customers, but we know these can sometimes end up in junk or spam folders, which is frustrating and can leave customers feeling out of the loop. We're continuing to review how we communicate delays to make sure updates are as visible and timely as possible.
We're also sorry to hear that setting up the dispenser was confusing. We've been working to improve our instructions and onboarding materials to make the setup process clearer from the start.
With regard to the dispenser twisting closed between pumps, that doesn't sound right. The dispenser should remain open during normal use, and from your description it sounds like you may have received a faulty unit. Great product, don’t be put off by negative reviews of initial delivery issues
Just wanted to write re all the negative reviews regarding initial delivery.
I first ordered in Jan and received my product in April, not ideal but this is a start-up and they had issues, give them a chance!
Just finished my first tube and the product is great, love the ethos, love the taste and it did whiten my teeth also, so no need now for the whitening treatment I was considering.
I will continue to use Mighty!

Brilliant, sustainable product.
Despite the delays and a few failed attempts to get the dispenser working this is an excellent product all round and we won’t be going back to using normal toothpaste. Used to get mouth ulcers and have had nothing since switching to mighty in March this year. Brilliant, sustainable product.

Disappointing
I was inspired by the idea of this product but it has not lived up to my expectations. I have found the pump very hard to manage. I have arthritic fingers and it needs a strong push down to dispense and at least 2 pumps to get enough on my brush. The toothpaste itself is quite runny and feels dry in my mouth which then doesn’t feel refreshed. To add insult to injury, I had some bleeding gums after using for a month or so- have not had that problem for years previously.
This is not a cheap product as it is more of a longer term investment, so I have really wasted my money.

July 2026 - after posting my original review Charlie, the founder, reached out to me as I was having issues with my dispenser. After receiving the new dispenser it works great. I really like this toothpaste. It took a little while to adjust to not having a foamy mouth while brushing, but I prefer it now.y teeth feel clean and I feel good about not being so wasteful.

May 2026 - I like the toothpaste, it seems to clean well. The container and the pumping mechanism don’t work. I like the look of the container. However it is aggravating trying to get the toothpaste out as sometimes only a tiny bit comes out and I end up pumping for up to 5 minutes trying to get enough on my toothbrush. I was really hoping this was going to be a great product. It’s in my price range and would work for the family, but practically speaking, it won’t work

From what you’ve described, it sounds like the refill may not be fully secured into the pump head. The refill needs to be screwed directly into the underside of the pump mechanism rather than placed loose into the base of the container. Once attached correctly, the toothpaste should dispense smoothly within a couple of pumps.

New V2 is fabulous!
We had to wait a few months for the new V2 - but Mighty kept in touch with regular updates - and it was worth waiting for! The new V2 dispenser is great: the size is good and is easy to dispense with one hand. Love the new consistency and the taste is delicious - clean and chemical free.
If I have one suggestion it would be better instructions on fitting the refill ……we got there in the end but could have been clearer.
Happy teeth and less plastic waste.

Great to see an ecofriendly alternative to toothpaste tubes and so impressed by the product that ordered a second for visitors. There was quite a delay with the first order which I believe was due to awaiting a new version although I didn't realise this when I ordered, hence the loss of one star. However, once I got in touch I found Customer Service extremely helpful

Great product and arrived quickly
Just received my new V2 dispenser and I think it's a good improvement on the old one. I prefer the size. The refill fits in very well and is a simple process. I ordered on Friday and it arrived Monday so a 1 working day delivery. My teeth will be happy and at the same time I'm glad I am creating less plastic waste.
