Issues with shipment
For the price I was expecting a good customer service. The company does not have a working phone number, they do not reply emails and my bed shows delivered in QC regardless of my address being in Ontario.
Not sure if I should right away ask for a refund because this whole experience has been terrible. There is no confirmation of when I should receive my items.
They do not reply emails, but I do hope they reply a bad review.

I love the design. However, I’m a bit disappointed with the quality, especially for little ones. There were many wood splinters, so I had to sand them down. Another concern is that the gate will be wobbly when we remove it.
Additional: Reached out like they aid and no reply. Seems like they don’t check their emails or care!

I didn’t want to leave a negative review, but unfortunately I have no choice. My daughter’s mattress is arriving today, yet the bed frame I ordered has still not shipped. Mimi Beds has told me the frame is “in stock,” but claims the carrier hasn’t picked it up. When I contacted the carrier directly, they had no record of the tracking number provided.
Because of this delay, I requested a refund for the bed frame since it has not shipped. I already sold my baby’s crib with pickup scheduled for tonight, and now I’m left with only one bed for two children—a toddler and a baby.
Instead of processing a refund, I’ve been given vague responses and delays. At this point, all I’m asking for is a refund so I can purchase another bed frame for my daughter. This situation has been extremely stressful and disappointing.

We waited 20 days to receive our order. When the bed finally arrived, essential parts were missing, which made the product completely unusable.
It has now been another 20 days since the bed arrived, and despite multiple follow-ups, we still have not received the missing replacement parts.
There is no phone number listed on their website, only an email, and responses are slow, unclear, and unhelpful. We have not received any firm shipping date or resolution.
We also submitted a review directly on their website, but it was never posted. This explains why all visible reviews are 5-star only, which does not reflect our real experience.
Overall, this has been extremely frustrating and disappointing, especially when ordering an important item for a baby. We would not recommend this company based on our experience.

** BEWARE: HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & UNREALISTIC PROMISE TIMES **
January 221st update:
they responded her that someone would be in contact, magically someone was. I gave them 2 business days to update me with confirmation the carrier has been contacted and pick up has been arranged, I was told it would be. After 2 days I had to follow up and then I got the exact same reply with a tracking number and that the carrier would provide remaining updates even though the arrangements for pickup were never made and it was still in “label created status”. This was not sufficient for me, I requested a full refund since nothing had been fulfilled and I wasn’t getting any real information or help. They have officially provided a full refund and I will be purchasing elsewhere and family members that were awaiting our bed to arrive before ordering will no long be supporting either.
Horrible experience.
Ordered a bed December 27th, provided with a tracking number on December 29th. When I contacted Mimi Beds they told me it was waiting for Purolator to pick it up, I contacted Purolator after a couple of days and they let me know Mimi Beds had not yet contacted them to arrange pick up. I contacted Mimi Beds again and got the same response that it’s awaiting Purolator to pick up which is a complete lie because they have yet to even contact Purolator to arrange pick up. I have sent multiple emails with no response. I have also sen an email asking for them to cancel the order and refund me because I’m not sure this company is actually real with the absolute horrible customer service and shipping timeframe even though it says it ships within 48 hours. At this point I just want my money back and I will go elsewhere because I don’t want to support a company that doesn’t seem to care about their consumers, providing the company is real and not a scam.

I placed an order in November 2025 for the bed, mattress and bookcase. The mattress and bookcase were delivered early December. I reached out on December 12 when the bed didn’t arrive as expected. I was provided with a UPS tracking number which showed the bed still in transit. The tracking updated to delayed a couple of days later. Understandable so I waited. Flash forward to January and the bed still hadn’t arrived. I reached out via email, messenger and the online support request. I received a response via messenger that indicated a support ticket was launched with the logistics team. This was over a week ago and no update. The solution is simple. Send me another bed and claim the lost item through UPS. I simply want the bed that I ordered as my granddaughters Christmas gift. The lack of communication and solutions for their customer is unacceptable.

After multiple weeks of the item not being shipped I inquired about our bed and was told it was in the hands of the shipping company. No shipping info was available so I contacted shipping company ans they confirmed that they did not have possession of the bed yet so we were lied to. 3.5 weeks later now and they haven't answered emails or the online request they told me to fill out. I have asked for a refund ASAP and hope this is put through as I no longer want the bed.

Very cute! Not gonna lie, I was a bit stressed waiting for the mattress since the bed arrived first… delivery was slower than expected because of the weather. But once everything finally arrived, wow. The bed is amazing quality. My little boy absolutely loves it and keeps showing everyone “his bed” 🥹

Customer service was honestly great. We were sent the wrong bed at first, which was frustrating, but they took full responsibility right away. They handled the return and replacement without any back and forth. Mistakes happen, but the way they dealt with it made a big difference. The bed we received in the end is beautiful and my little Holden loves it.

I ordered a Queen Size Montessori bed from Mimibeds on January 3, 2025, and selected their Ship Next Day option. Weeks later, the bed still had not shipped.
The most frustrating part is that Ship Next Day is clearly advertised and charged for, yet not honoured. Only after reaching out did I learn the bed was still waiting for a shipping label, with no confirmed pickup date. There was no proactive communication or transparency about delays or when I can expect my order.
In my opinion, this feels sneaky and makes the business model seem shady. Advertising next-day shipping when items are clearly not ready to ship is misleading, especially for parents making time-sensitive purchases.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend Mimibeds if you expect honesty, transparency, or reliable shipping timelines.

We were very happy with how quickly we received our Mimi bed! The quality is somewhat lower than we were expecting for a solid pine, Canadian made brand but thus far it has done the trick. The gate doesn't quite align properly, and when our kiddo grows and we want to take the gate of the 'wall' with the gate is quite wobbly without it. It would be nice if the max weight was more than 250lbs so that both my husband and I could lay in bed with our kiddo. Overall though we are happy with our purchase, and appreciate the sleeping arrangements that the Mimi bed offers us!

The bed and playpen are absolutely amazing, truly a dream once they arrived. The quality is beautiful, sturdy, and perfect for our little one.
We did experience a shipping delay, which turned out to be an issue on Canpar side, and that part was a bit frustrating. but once everything arrived, it was completely worth the wait.
Overall, we’re very happy with the products and would still recommend Mimi Beds for the quality alone.

I placed an order for two beds on Dec. 26th and all they've done is print a label. The website showed next day shipping and that is false advertising.
I tried emailing the support email and got no response. I've been able to get a few replies through Instagram DM but they've been vague and not helpful. They initially blamed the delay on the carrier so I reached out to them and they had no idea about the order and told me to contact the company. I then contacted Mimi Beds again via Instagram DM and was told they'd escalate the issue and get back to me, they did not. I had to reach out again.
I've now been given a ticket number and told they'll keep an eye on the order. They refuse to give any concrete answer to when they'll actually ship my order.

I've been asked to reach out and I've sent an email.
I received an email apologizing and explaining the next steps they're taking. I received a partial refund and was promised a clear update within 48hrs.
Jan 16th
I'm still waiting for my order to ship!! I was told the carrier has my order and is trying to locate the package.
I called the carrier directly and was told they have not received the order and to have Mimibeds schedule a pick up. I asked for proof that Mimibeds has contacted the carrier and received screenshots that appear to be internal messages between employees. One says my order is shipping today and the other says the carrier is trying to locate it.
Still no updates showing on the tracking number I was given on Dec 29th.

Malgré nos relances, la seule information reçue de votre part indiquait que la commande était « prête à l’entrepôt ». Or, après vérification directe auprès d’Obibox, il nous a été confirmé que notre commande n’existe pas dans leur système.
Cette contradiction est inacceptable. Ils nous assurent que les commandes se livrent dans 48h, mais ils ne sont même capable de dire la vérité ou nous faire un suivi claire.
Nous vous avons accordé un délai de 48 heures pour obtenir un suivi, à défaut nous procédons à une rétrofacturation.
SVP, évitez de commander chez Mimi Beds. Nous sommes extrêmement déçus par le manque de transparence et de rigueur, particulièrement pour un produit destiné à un enfant.

I will say that delivery was quick, bed came packaged properly and there were no damages, but the bed overall seems extremely cheaply made. It’s aesthetically pleasing and I love the rails that surround the mattress, but my son sometimes wakes and jumps/shakes the railings and they are SO wobbly. I also don’t find the door mechanism to be very “user-friendly.” The buttons are somewhat stubborn to push to open and close the gate. For what we paid, I am very unimpressed but I have a 2/5 because delivery was good and it was fairly easy to put together.

The company listed that the two products we ordered were in stock and ready to ship the next day. It is now TWO WEEKS since they created shipping labels for the two products. One was picked up right away and has arrived. They claim that the courier was “too busy” and couldn’t pick it up….. except one of the two packages was picked up? Clearly no logical people working there, or possibly no humans. We have been in constant contact with the company for two weeks, every time we ask a direct question about the product, they completely avoid the question. They took our money and appear to be a scam company. With the lack of answers to ANY questions we have asked, I suspect that it is just AI bots and not a real customer service department. The warehouse where this bed was “shipping from” is a 25 drive from us. We have asked to pick up the product ourselves and they will not answer. We wanted to support a small Canadian brand instead of purchasing foreign. We seriously regret our decision to purchase from this company.
After responding to our message below, Lara from Mimi beds contacted us making many assurances and promising to get back to us by January 13 to solve this issue. No one has returned the emails since, the phone number does not work and they are ignoring emails. They are only responding to our messages because of this 1 star review. I offer yet another 1 star rating based of their lack of follow through, transparency, honesty or actually providing solutions to get us our product.
They finally responded after this last update to inform us that they DO NOT HAVE INVENTORY. They lied on their website, they have spent more than two weeks gaslighting us that Purolator was refusing pick up when the problem is that they never had the product. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!
