I bought the Women's EX Light Thermawrap Parka (Blue Green) online direct from Montbell. After only a few wears and very light use it has got a pull in the fabric. I was really disappointed by this. The brand is marketed as high performance activewear and in a price bracket that matches many high quality brands. I contacted Montbell who said that the nature of the shell fabric is such that pulls are to be expected and that they could recommend a repair service for me to use at my expense. I will steer clear of this brand with it's fancy branding as for me the product is not fit for purpose and the fabric is not adequate enough to withstand the most basic use let alone wearing it on hikes or with rucksacks that it could snag on. Very disappointing customer experience. My 28yr old lightweight shell buffalo top is still going strong so I would recommend this fantastic UK brand if you want a far better product.

Coat ordered 8 days ago.
Says dispatched.
DPD still doesn’t have the “parcel”.
No reply from two emails to Montbell.
Operating from PO box in Salford.

Within hours of placing an order I sent 2 emails asking to change the size. I did not get a response. I did of course get delivered the wrong size. So I've paid £14 to have it delivered and returned and got nothing.
I would'nt buy it from them if you want any kind of service.
Outsiders would have delivered it for free.

Dreadful service

Montbell sent wrong puffer jacket- a mistake that they admitted

The coat was returned within 24 hours of receipt and the return received by them over 10 days ago.

They have now lost the returned item and won’t reimburse me- even though the coat is within their premises
