Martin was prompt, professional and most important respectful. He trimmed our tree with care and consideration of what it needed. When he was finished, he cleaned everything up.
I greatly appreciate Martin’s knowledge and how he communicates what’s needs to be done with our tree.

I spent an insane amount of money for 10 trees to be planted, giant arborvitae, they wanted 200.00 per tree to "take care of them" 5 out of the 10 died, i did not pay to have them come take care of them so they will not replace the dead trees.

Even Lowes and Home Depot will replace a tree withing one year.

Really took me, my fault but just know they DO NOT stand behind their plants. Read the fine print or get it in writing.

We visited Moon Valley Nursery on 4/4/25 to discuss the purchase of bushes and trees. The cost of 13 Waxed Privots and two fruit trees came to nearly $20,000.00. My husband and I told our salesperson that we needed to think on it and discuss it further as it was a lot of money. At that point, our salesperson called in her manager to talk with us. During our conversation with the salesperson and manager, the manager said he would give us the MVP Pro Care. We said, we need to discuss it further and we would call our salesperson later on that same day. We called our salesperson back later that day and told her we would go ahead with the purchase. I reminded her about her manager saying he would give us the MVP Pro Care and she said that she remembers him telling us that. We completed the transaction over the phone with a credit card. The next day, we stopped by Moon Valley to get our receipt. The receipt stated that we declined the MVP Pro Care. We brought this error to our salesperson's attention and she said she would correct it. To make a long story short, they never corrected it, the salesperson and the manager both denied it was ever said and told us they couldn't print off a receipt for some reason. We visited Moon Valley at least 5 times to get this worked out but they continued to lie and deny. I wish I had read more reviews before I decided to do business with Moon Valley as they have many negative reviews. Some along the lines of what they did to us. Suffice it to say, we will not be purchasing so much as a ground covering from Moon Valley. The owner of Moon Valley should be doing some housekeeping in getting rid of the people who lie to their customers. Beware!!!!

Very well organized and nicely laid out. So neat and clean with Handicap parking available. Tara Oliver was helping us throughout with our first time visit. So friendly and helpful. We will be back for future visits.

Beware of Moon Valley Nurseries. The first thing I didn't like was a requirement to pay 100% up front. If I was hiring a contractor for work on my home I would expect no more than 50% down with the rest paid on completion. Also our salesman, Blake told us repeatedly that if things didn't work out with our HOA we could cancel the sale. Only later did we find out that even though they had done no work as of the time we canceled, we still had to pay a 15% cancellation fee. Yes, It was in the contract but I would expect this kind of language from a used-car salesman, not a nursery. So read your contract. There may be other surprises in there-+

It's not that MVN did anything necessarily wrong, but we spent a lot of money ($40K+ - we were idiots) for what ended up being a poor design and many trees that did not survive. (Plus AFTER they installed the trees they said we needed irrigation and frequent watering including for trees that were several football fields away - we would have like to know that before. The irrigation was also an expensive bust.) We used the insurance they offered and that helped, but when the replanted trees died, their "hands were tied by corporate" and couldn't help further. For mere pine trees, no less, how much could that cost to fix! Anyway, my suggestion is to look elsewhere. This was a most unsatisfying experience.

My arborist, David Boyer is the best, he explained in detail what I was doing right and doing wrong and how to do better, he explained next steps and when to take action and gave me suggestions

We had two designers come to our house and then day after we went to meet with them at the nursery. They put together this crazy dollar amount quote and then refused to print it for our review. Then 10 minutes later, they couldn't find the quote and said it was accidentally deleted! They are running a scam, no transparency...and awful customer service! Don't waste your time and go to a reputable nursery instead. We went to another nursery and for the same plants, it was 1/3 the price!! Go figure..

I was astonished at how friendly and helpful the staff were. Great selection of trees plants and art including large and small pots. Soil too.

I was in the market for a Christmas tree and stopped in at the West Knoxville TN Moon Valley Nurseries on 12/5. Matt Elliot waited on me and in his kind, patient, non-pressurizing manner, sold me a high-end tree. Not only did he sell me a gorgeous tree, he delivered it to my front porch. This is the place to go if you are looking for a healthy, fresh cut Christmas tree or live trees that will be delivered and planted for you. I give Matt and this business five stars.

Blake was our sales representative and he was quite helpful and informative in helping us make the proper tree, bush and shrub selections for our area in Rio Rico. Blake was available and very responsive to our questions and kept us informed about our trees and bushes and the timeline up to the planting day. He coordinated everything and there were no miscommunications. Hence, everything went smoothly. Jeremy and the planting crew did a fantastic job getting our trees and bushes planted on our property and especially in some of those areas on the property we felt were challenging. Jeremy was knowledgeable and informative which was greatly appreciated.

The place is a beautiful bountiful ray of colorful plants and shrubs. The staff is awesome and very helpful!

We had several large trees trimmed and could not be happier with the results. The crew kept in contact with us throughout the process. They were by far the best tree trimming service we have ever used and will definitely use them in the future.

Being handicapped I was unable to come to Nursery and pick out the Plum tree I wanted. I spoke to Rusty he said he would pick out the best one.So I placed and paid for my order and had my son pick up the tree. I can't believe the beautiful, healthy tree he chose. Thank you for being so trustworthy and considerate.

Had a fantastic experience with Tom Powell at Moon Valley Nursery in Marana! He was so kind, patient, knowledgable and accommodating. He first came to our home to look at our landscaping needs and I asked a million questions while walking him around our property. Next, I went to the nursery to pick out a palm tree, and even in 111 degree heat, he walked back and forth with me, without any complaints but was super patient and accommodating, with the most pleasant attitude and demeanor. I appreciated his help and had a great experience with the nursery! I highly recommend!

I purchased a fruitless mulberry tree recently after doing extensive research on trees that thrive in this area. I have always gone to Kniffing's nursery as it is family owned and reasonably priced. I decided to give Moon Valley a try as they are a juggernaut in the nursery industry.

I paid a thousand dollars for a tree that was about 4-5 years old, and left with the confidence that I would have my backyard shade tree.

They said it would take a week to deliver, which I though was a long time as we are literally up the street. It ended up taking 10 days and one day it was just in my backyard when I got home. NO CALL, NO EMAIL, NOTHING... they entered my backyard while I was at work, going through TWO GATES and left it sitting on my turf.

When I got home, I immediately put it in the ground with local dirt (as they instructed). The tree looked sad when it was delivered. Almost as if they had taken it off the lot when we bought it and put in in some container for the 10 days before it got to us. The very next day it started losing leaves.

It is now almost completely bare, and Moon Valley is taking ZERO responsibility. In fact, they said they could send someone to look at it, but it would cost me $50 to do so. Mind you, I live up the street.

What a terrible place to do business. Some places get too large and lose touch with customer service. This is definitely one of them.

They have completely lost my business, as well as anyone in my family. I will continue to share my story with my large network of East County natives who were upset when they took over in the first place. Support local, support family owned, and don't let these money hungry businesses take over.

I'd like to express that working with Debbie has been a pleasure. After I raised some concerns, Austin kindly visited my house and offered valuable suggestions. We ordered a replacement tree and some plants. Today, Gabriel and his crew came out to plant them. They did an excellent job. Gabriel was very kind and thorough, even putting down mulch around the new plants. Now, I'll go buy some additional mulch, along with Pink Apache Gravel, and maybe some river rock for around the big trees.
