Ryan Esser went above and beyond any of my expectations to take care of me and my family throughout this process. He was always looking out for our best interests and one step ahead of the game to ensure we got what we needed. I had not known Ryan before this process, but he handled our relationship with care and precision as if we’d known eachother for years. Aside from top customer care, he has the necessary knowledge of all aspects of the mortgage loan and home buying process that made us feel like we were in good hands. Would recommend him and mortgage America to anyone who’s interested in buying a home.

Getting an answer quickly from a live person is unusual today, but not with Mortgage America or Rax Heller. Every time I've needed help or have had a question an answer or help was quickly given. That's a 5 star for me any day!

If I could leave zero stars I absolutely would. It took our loan officer Damian Gallagher over two months to tell me that we couldn't do a cash out refi because we hadn't been in the home over a year. This should have taken about 5 minutes. Then he suggested a home equity loan and told me we would be closing 1/14. All along my bills were getting later and later. On 1/15 I asked for an update on status and he THEN informed me that my credit score was now too low to do the loan. If he had not DRAGGED his feet since OCTOBER my credit score would have been over 700 and this would not have been an issue. I also had an issue with the processor when we did our original closing with them that cost me delaying my closing for two full weeks AFTER my movers had already picked up everything from my old home and I had to pay exorbitant storage fees. I would NEVER in a million years recommend this company.

He was responsive and worked quickly to get everything together for a quick settlement— even over the holidays, weekends, and evenings.
