Superb experience replacing a tyre at my home. From start to finish, messagin them on WA until the tyre was replaced was 80 minutes. That's insane. Fair price, the lad who did the work was a gentleman and a pro. Can't ask for better.
Avoid like the plague-Our experience with Motty Tyre Services was extremely disappointing and, in our view, completely unprofessional.
We were particularly unhappy with the aggressive and intimidating way members of staff spoke to the women in our group. The way the situation was handled was unacceptable and left us feeling extremely uncomfortable.
We are also €230 out of pocket following our dealings with this business. We dispute their entitlement to keep this money and have requested that the full €230 be returned to us as soon as possible.
We would like Motty Tyre Services to resolve this immediately, refund our €230, and address the way we were treated. Based on our experience, we would not use their services again and would warn everyone else against them.

We are very disappointed to read this review, as it does not reflect what actually happened.
The tyre was replaced exactly as requested, and the initial job was completed without any issue. Shortly afterwards, the customer contacted us to say that the tyre was rubbing against the front-left suspension spring. We were then informed that the spring had broken.
Rather than leaving the customer stranded, we immediately arranged recovery from our garage, brought the vehicle back to us and ordered the required parts — including a new coil spring and top mount — so that the vehicle could be repaired without unnecessary delay.
We also offered to replace the tyre again, even though our inspection showed that the tyre had not been damaged, simply because it had been rubbing against the broken spring and we wanted the customer to leave with a new tyre and a safe vehicle.
Once the vehicle arrived at our garage, however, the situation changed. The customer no longer wanted the vehicle repaired and instead demanded an additional tyre without allowing us to recover the tyre already fitted to the vehicle. We explained that we could not provide a second tyre while leaving the existing one on the vehicle.
Unfortunately, the situation then escalated considerably. The customer entered areas of our garage without authorisation and attempted to take a tyre from our stock without our consent. We politely asked the customer to leave the garage premises, but she initially refused to do so. It was only after we began contacting the Gardaí for assistance that she eventually agreed to leave.
When leaving the premises, the vehicle was driven away abruptly and came very close to one of our mechanics. Rubbish was also thrown from the vehicle within our garage premises, and at one point the main entrance to the garage was obstructed.
We have CCTV footage and photographs documenting the events at our premises and are happy to provide these to the customer if there is any genuine dispute about what occurred.
We completely reject the suggestion that we treated the customer unfairly or refused to help. On the contrary, we arranged recovery, sourced parts immediately and offered a further tyre replacement, all in an attempt to resolve the situation and help the customer.
We are always willing to discuss legitimate complaints and resolve genuine issues professionally. However, we cannot accept responsibility for events or allegations that are inconsistent with the evidence available to us.
