Joe, thanks for your feedback.
We determined that the quality issues you experienced were due to a training issue with some new personnel.
As a corrective action, we have changed our training and implemented a quality coupon system which requires a supervisor or manager sign-off at each critical stage.
I'm told by production that since this issue you have received two orders without a problem.

Helmel Eng was a long time customer of Metalphoto with orders going back to the 1970's. Policies change. Very high minimum orders. Our
"small" orders are no longer wanted

Thank you for your comments.
We had to update our minimum order charge to cover the fixed cost of running a job (regardless of number of parts, that cost is constant).
We are willing to run any number of parts down to a single piece, but below the minimum we cannot operate at a profit.
We are, however, looking into automation that might allow us to reduce fixed costs.

We have been ordering from MPC for many years and really love the product. We only wish we could receive quotes and revisions to quotes in a more timely manner. it can take up to 2 days to get a simple revision of a quantity on a quote.
