Had a slow running kitchen drain situation.
Mr. Rooter quickly sent out a technician same day of my call. Young man, LEX arrived on time and began diagnosing the situation. He removed and cleared out the clog. Appreciated his tone and carefulness during the visit. Thank you Mr. Rooter for having professionals like LEX on your team!

THey come out to my home on January 19th for a emergency back up. They where unable to fix the issue that night and schedule another crew to come out on the 20th. I was charge $115 for this visit. The crew came out on the 20th and cameraed the lateral and saw the issue. We went over the issue and confirmed that a hydro jet and a liner would fix the issue. At this time i wrote a 2500 check as this covered half the cost. January 21st a crew came out around 6PM CST and was unable to fix the issue. I was told that another crew would come out the next day with a camera to resolve the issue. I never say another crew again form Mr Rooter. I would get emails that a crew would be coming out, but received NO CALL AND NO SHOWS on those scheduled days. I would call the office and was told that people would be coming out in a few hours and no one ever should. This went on from 01/21 until 01/25, during this time I would call and get the run around that no supervisors were in the office Etc. When I finally did get to speak with a supervisor,Brett, he had every little knowledge of he job and was asking questions that had already been answered when the crew was at my house.I was told that it was too cold liner to be installed to which i replied I need to be able to use my plumping in my house, the liner can wait.

01/25 I spoke with Brett and he GUARANTEED that a crew would be on Monday the 01/27. Had another no CALL NO SHOW on 01/27. At this time I called the office and requested a full refund. On the 27th I received an email with a zeroed out invoice. Then on the 28th my credit card was charged $526.33 unbeknownst to me. I have no invoices for this amount in my records.

I spoke with another manager Joe on the week of 02/04. I was told he had pictures and notes from the crew that the work was completed. I asked from the evidence of this and never received any documentation. I asked why my card was charged with out my knowledge and he was unable to provide an answer to that question. I disputed the two credit card charges as the work was not completed. Mr rooter sent documentation to my bank showing that the work was done which is completely false. Still working with my bank on the disputes to this day.

I would not recommend using MR rooter at ALL. Stay away from them and go with a company that is legitimate and actually performs the work they say they will.

Called Mr Rooter to fix a clog in my main drain.
Ben and Nate arrived exactly when i was told they would and they both were very professional and knowledgeable and had everything flowing great in a very short time, they both went above and beyond and I would highly recommend them both!

I can't believe anybody would have a bad Experience With Mr. Rooter .....Shawn came in and did such an excellent job finding the real problem with my drainage issues ... The price was excellent ... The staff were pleasant .... Shawn did not give up until he saw the problem with my slow drainage in my kitchen sink Even though I was ready to give up He's got 5 star review from me and I will call them back again and again if I need to Everyone should go with this company. I will direct everyone to these guys.

Kyle Boddy of Mr. Rooter was amazing. He arrived within 1/2 hr. of my call relating to my plugged kitchen drains. Polite and relaxed, he explained every step of the procedure and options offered with different costs.
He is a true gentleman!!
In my opinion, he should open his own business. As a leader he would be the best!!

I called Mr. Rooter to get a new sewer line flushed and camera inspected for my client. I requested a robot camera as they were a larger diameter pipe but was assured that a standard push camera would be okay. The first time they visited the site, someone was taking video from a phone camera of the video screen. Between the cameraman's shadow and the sun's glare, the video was useless. So I complained and they sent the sewer tech back to take better footage. Between the water being used to flush the pipe and the dim light on the camera, that footage was almost useless. That was $2,400 wasted. I finally called another company and had them take to video which turned out terrific. The robot they used gave really high quality video, and they attended my site the same afternoon that I called, plus their work was half the price of Mr. Rooter. As a professional contractor, using Mr. Rooter was a waste of time and money, as each time they were on site I also had to pay for an employee to be there both occasions. Perhaps Mr. Rooter thinks they can get away with this on residential clients, but they will be losing a commercial client now.

I paid them for unclogging the basement sink in my house. The agent assured me that the work was done properly, without even testing if the water would run down. On the receipt, it was written that the work was with no warranty. After I noticed the issue, I called them to report that the issue was still occurring. I asked them to come and assess my concern. They refused to do so. Instead, they asked me to pay for hydrojetting to resolve the issue. I called another plumbing company. When they came in, they could not believe that when I told them Mr Rooter Plumbing completed the same work earlier. The latter corrected the wrong service provided by Mr. Rooter and gave me a 12-month guarantee. I asked Mr. Rooter to reimburse me for the poor work provided, and they refused. Honestly, based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone.

The workers did their job but, they destroyed my lawn, sprinkler system and concrete mow strips and the supervisor said their contract does not cover damage caused by their workers. Knowing that they did not advise or allow for contract review but demanded authorization signatures immediately. Next door neighbor had the same job done for half the 48 k price.

I recently contacted Rooter Etobicoke for plumbing service. They sent a plumber named Jason, who was kind, professional, and efficient. Unfortunately, he accidentally left the hot water turned off when he finished the job. Mistakes happen, and I completely understand that, I simply needed someone to come back and turn it on.
When I called the dispatcher to request that Jason return, I was met with a very rude and condescending attitude. There was absolutely no customer service or willingness to help. Her tone and approach were unacceptable and left a very negative impression.
Because of this experience, I chose not to continue with Rooter. They also quoted me $952 for a repair that I ultimately had done by another plumber for $259.
I appreciate Jason’s kindness, but due to the dispatcher’s behaviour and the extremely high quote, I will not be using Rooter again.

I asked for the possible cost and they said maybe a couple hundred unless they found something else. Ezra was very nice. I had a pinhole leak. They brought the pipe part, unscrewed 3 bolts, installed it and charged me over $1000. Then suggested I put in a bladder to release some pressure and replace my water softener and heater and they could give me a deal. I need to win the Powerball first.

They kept a $2000 down payment on $6900 job that I cancelled after 2 days and say it's non refundable. That's like 30%. There's a 3 day cooling off period. They never emailed the invoice or contract even after calling and asking for it. I've been getting the run around for 2 months now. I'm elderly on a fixed income and apparently easy to scam.

I called for a very basic dishwasher hook up. I was told that I would be charged $79 as a callout fee and that that amount would be applied toward any labour or parts that I chose to proceed with. The plumber who arrived told me that it would be a very quick and easy job (20 minutes) and that it would be $400. He told me that if he comes out to do a job no matter how simple the minimum he will charge is $400. Why then was I told there was a $79 call out charge? I feel this was very misleading. I have since compared this pricing to other companies and have found that $200 is generally a much more standard fee. Mr. Rooter is misrepresenting their prices and gouging customers.

Well was charged $125 for a quick fix that didn’t work cause he had no clip I needed no faucet had to go to ace hardware to get one then charged a service fee of $125 total $780 bad choice on my part bad bad bad

The Technician Lou was the Best. He was Prompt on time and went out of his way to help us. He was very professional. Highly recommend him and will ask for him again.

Caused water damage resulting in water leaking through my ceiling into the story below and all over my furniture from a simple copper pipe repair.
Also installed expansion tank in such a way that it cannot be accessed to check pressure. When I called and spoke to "Manager John" he agreed that he would send someone out to fix the expansion tank install free of charge. When tech Josh arrived the work which was promised to be free was now $400.
Horrible business practices and lack of accountability. So many better plumbers out there.

Cost was 4 times the Quote! 1000.00 Bucks to change out a toilet and sink cartridges!!

Mr. Rooter plumbing helped me fix both my toilets today even though I only called them yesterday afternoon! The woman Holly Reed was very helpful on the phone and was all over it. I highly recommend using them

They caused property damage to everything they encountered. They used no dust protection even though their hold music assures that they do. Their contracts are vague enough to hide what they intend to do, but detailed enough to prevent them from fixing the damage they cause. Everyone at the company referred to the previous team that worked on our property with insults. They have a culture of deception and high pressure tactics to get your money and run.
