This is my second MWC, I also have a quartz 300m military diver. I bought this G10 for halfprice as an ex-display model from an authorised dealer. It's an amazing watch for the money and appears to be new. The only point to note is that is has screwed springbars, so will be restricted to one piece straps. I've also ordered some Threadlock to ensure they stay in place.

I bought a 42 mm G10 watch a few months ago and thought I would wait before doing a review to see how it faired. I use this watch mainly for work (warehouse) and can honestly say its absolutely brilliant. Its taken lots of knocks and hard wearing and doesn't lose a second. Its very robust and heavy and I've had lots of comments about how cool it is. I've served in HM forces and worn issue watches but this outshines them all. And does it for a lot less money.

Recently purchased the replica dirty dozen watch with Cream face.
Paid £175 happy with the look of the watch But it does Gain approx 3 minutes a week ? Spoke to customer services but they we're very off ish .
They basically said 1- 3mins is acceptable. & they we're Not prepared to discuss the problem any further. Not the response I expected No great customer service....

I saw a MWC 46 mm aviator watch a few days ago at a military supply shop and bought it. To say its imposing and substantial would be an understatement. I was looking for a quirky and big watch this one in a bronze case absolutely checks all my boxes.

I serve with the Norwegian navy and a friend wears MWC hence I purchase a 500m Submarine watch with tritium. All very good and very bright it was the 500M/SUBC/PVD good value for kr 3.734,00 and the only military watch I could find with T100 tritium GTLS tubes vs T25 which makes a big difference.

I got an Aeschbach Luftwaffe watch from MWC back in October and another watch this week for a friends birthday and everything has been very hassle free. The Aeschbach keeps really good time and exceeded my expectations by a big margin, it gets loads of positive comments and questions about what it is. Even my local watchmaker thought it looked very well designed and historically correct and they don't get much more discerning than they are here in Switzerland :-)

I have had my MWC 21 Tritium 300m divers watch for 5 years now and it has performed flawlessly. I forgot one time to screw the crown back down (my mistake) and it got damaged. I went online and chatted with a customer service agent who instructed me on how to return my watch for repair. My watch was out of warranty but they had my information in their records. The whole process took only 3 weeks and when I received my watch back, it looked brand new. I have a new stainless bracelet as well. The staff at MWC were prompt and courteous! I was kept informed of the repair process the entire time. The cost of repair and shipping was only 20% of the cost for a new watch which was very fair considering I damaged the watch enough to make it inoperable. I have not received this type of prompt and fair service from very many companies over the years.
MWC stepped up and made me a very happy customer!

Cheap feeling. Was expecting better for the price. Read on a forum that MWC aren't real military watches.

In reply to MWC replying to me... I did buy a MWC watch before moving onto CWC as I was so disappointed with the MWC. The CWC watches I bought might have lacked some quality control but the MWC was low quality all round.

Edit 2: CWC is not your competitor. CWC have a legitimate history. Your attitude should be a warning for anyone thinking of buying from you.

Absolutely superb watch. I've had my w10 for 18 years. And it's never missed a beat. I'm looking to have it serviced now just to keep it tip top, but it has to be the most reliable watch I've had. Superb quality and timekeeping.

I brought a mwc watch from them around 4years ago ,a Display model on special offer. After about a year it stopped working. When returned was not repaired or replaced like for like ,but replaced by a brand new upgraded model Took some time, but one happy camper. Replacement yet to skip a beat.

Just received my MWC P656 ND/D2Li in Stainless finish today absolutely chuffed with it ,Great Watch and Superb finish with a 10 yr battery life and Ronda 715Li Movement which is a upgrade to my previous watch.
I have worn my Traser P6500 on and off since 2011 bought used then and this has a 505 Ronda movement and still is very accurate but looks very tired now and needs some TLC and bezel as the markings have rubbed off and a chipped glass needs a replacement and GTLS tubes don't all illuminate so time for a refurb

I bought my MWC P656 watch in March 2020 for £217 with delivery to Ireland from an online retailer. Any positive or negative remarks only apply to my watch and can't be assumed to apply to all P656s.

The watch box has the MWC logo stamped on it. The details on the box say the company was established in 1974 and it also says Switzerland. I'm not sure if the watches are manufactured in Switzerland or if the manufacturer makes the watches elsewhere, the movement is Swiss but the dial doesn't say Swiss Made so I assume they're not made in Switzerland. Happy to be corrected though.
I did originally own two P656s but I sent one back for a refund, the other one was packaged exactly the same so this is consistent.
I wasn't keen on the original strap, it was shinier than expected and I would have liked a metal retainer to hold the excess strap instead of the fabric loop. I found the strap got baggy in water which was annoying as it flip flopped around my arm until it dried out.
I bought a replacement 22mm Bond style NATO from a large online marketplace which in my opinion has a much higher quality feel (thicker and doesn't get baggy) and to my eye looks much better. I have no intention of going back to the original strap although I have kept it in case of emergency. I have updated my avatar to show the watch on the new strap.
The lume is excellent in my opinion, the watch is easily readable in the dark although the pip at 12am/pm is not as good and is quite dull on the watch I have, maybe it isn't meant to be very bright I'm not sure. The lume is a radioactive material which lasts for 25 years ago so no need to 'charge' the watch under a light source. You can check the MWC website for more about the materials used in the lume, I believe it's called GLTS.

The crown is screw down, for my hands I find it far too small and fiddly. I do have large hands so this is a factor, I would like the crown to be bigger and protrude more from the crown guard with bigger, sharper teeth for better grip. I do only have to unscrew the crown to adjust the date after thirty day months so it's not like I'm having to unscrew it constantly thankfully. If I did have to unscrew it regularly I would have to think twice about wearing the watch.
The MWC website says it's not recommended for the shower, it's annoying having to take it off to shower but I like to follow the manufacturers guidelines so I do take it off. This is the websites advice from the FAQs, I've followed the advice so I can't comment if it would in fact survive showering. Below is directly from the FAQs and it's being quoted for the purposes of a review which falls under fair use:
Q: How do I care for a Water Resistant Watch
A: It is not recommended to wear even a highly rated water resistant watch in a hot shower, sauna or bath the degree of water resistance e.g 100m or 300m makes little difference to the risk. The basic problem is that the extreme heat causes the metal parts to expand at a different rate to the rubber gaskets, the result is that it can create small openings which allow water to penetrate the watch, the result is most commonly misting of the crystal but over time it can result in increasing amounts of water ingression which seriously damages the movement. The other issue that aggravates matters further is shower gel, soap, shampoo and bath foam because these are alkaline and can rot the seals.

I have the subdued dial version, I like the face overall and find it easy to read. The dial does not have the MWC logo on, not an issue at all for me, in fact I prefer it this way. The movement is stated as a quartz Ronda with a ten year battery life, I'll update this review in 2030 to comment on that if I can. The watch was ticking when I unboxed it so I can't say how much of that ten year battery life was already gone when purchased.
The timekeeping seems accurate, certainly no issues with significant time loss or gain anyway as would be expected from a quartz movement.

The bezel is unidirectional and has some backplay, it's not too much but it is annoying and cheapens the feel of the watch.

I haven't dealt with MWC as I ordered from an online retailer, I did previously leave a review of the watch but I also included a review of the retailer, instead of MWC flagging my review to Trustpilot an online investigation company contacted me the next day and stated that MWC had contacted them about the review. The email threatened to sue for defamation and also stated that they would contact my employer unless I removed the review. I removed the review and have reposted as purely a product review. Please note, I didn't sign an NDA and am only stating facts that can be proven so I am free to mention it here without fear of recourse.

Brilliant good quality timepieces fast delivery very professional recomend to any one

Description of the product on the website are detailed and characterize the watch (G10, titanium, quartz) I received well. Can not judge the technical specs (300 m water resistance, 10 year battery) - but past experience with an other produce does not suggest anything else.
Customer service was excellent. My package shipped from the UK and had a tracking problem and the MWC CS responded fast, professional and very courteous.
I certainly would buy from them again.

I bought the G10LM 12/24 yesterday and am so far very happy with the quality of the item, I feel confident that it will last me some time.

I bought a new Aviator model (MWC Ltd Edition Classic Model SD1: CLIX/SD1) it is a really nice XL watch and glows well at night too. I am really happy with this watch because for the price £229 I can't see anything out there that comes close. I owned a MKIII for 3 years and sold it on but it was still going strong so all round I rate MWC 100%
