MWeb is a very bad service provider. The call center does NOT pick up calls and eventually after holding on for more than 40mins, drop the call. Live Chat is the same with no response I have... Mehr ansehen

Mweb signal is so weak you can't even watch YouTube so for my experience you should really choose a other network.
Mweb is the worst internet provider. There is no form of customer service. Worst experience of my life, dealing with the customer service
I have been waiting since 18 April 2025. Paid the deposit. Finally the router arrived end of September 2025. Today is 3rd of October. Still waiting for any feedback on installation. This is the worst service you can get.
sadly I hate rating like this ,,,but a 1 out of 5 pity not a 0 out of 5 is available --my email authentication has been down since 0815 this morning and NO NO comms to my phone or messages telling me the issue and when it is expected back online,,, webafrica /mweb i have been with you since inception --but this UX is not on ...
It is unfortunate that I went with Mweb. Customer support can never help. I send docs to get information changed and nothing happens.
MWeb's Incompetence Is Beyond Frustrating……
I would have rated them minus zero if I could. I’ve wasted over R100 in airtime sitting on hold, just trying to get through to an agent and when I finally do, I’m met with one incompetent agent after another.
All I needed was a static IP so I can work remotely — something MWeb apparently can’t provide. I asked them to release the line so I could move to a provider that supports static IPs. That simple request turned into a nightmare of endless calls, back-and-forth with clueless agents, and no resolution in sight.
This issue has been dragging on forever, and no one at MWeb is able to help. Their support is disorganized, unprofessional, and completely useless. I’ve lost both time and money because of them.
I can NEVER recommend MWeb not even to my worst enemy.
Mweb fibre has been down the entire day on 11 September 2025 of which caused many people a very big inconvenience but at the end of the month they still debit your account with the full subscription fee for the month.
It is now 12 September 2025 and the Mweb Fibre is still down which is ridiculous lot's of people has to make alternative means to get back online including me because they work remotely
I am so frustrated with Mweb bad service at the moment will definitely be taking my business to a different provider
The worst internet service in my life don't even know when I have paid my account fast to switch off but can't get it back up and running and the WhatsApp line is useless you tell them account is blocked they ask is the lights on and working rather have no internet then deal with this poor no service peolpe

They take forever to respond and they mess up when i tried to move my wifi to a different location they firstly cancelled and when it was sorted they put my internet off and requested payment when I already paid
None disclosures then boom all is disclosed, be weary of doing business here. Not sure if they were trying to force take our few clients or what but I am very disappointed. Made us seriously consider getting our own isp license (icasa)

So, on 22 June 2025 I logged a change of address with Mweb, received a SMS stating my order was received and would be attended to within 14 days,
On enquiring on 2025/07/27 - I was informed that it is still being processed.

After numerous phone calls and a payment of almost R 800 I am still without a service or a refund.
Absolutely pathetic service from Mweb - this needs to be sorted out urgently.
I was a client with MWeb, when I moved to a new house I reqeusted them in an email to move the fibre to the new adress. Nobody pitched up. All of a sudden i was billed double the amount I always paid as they said I cancelled the contract. And the more I told them I did not cancel the account the more they deducted money from me, without even having a router in my house. Just stay away from this company they are absolutely pathetic, and don't even trey to get hold of them that is even worse. Up to now they still owe me money. Next step for me is the Ombudsman. Again stay away from them.
Bad doesn't even begin to describe it.....the products, service delivery, customer service and actual platform, EVERYTHING is awful. I don't recommend you waste your time and money....If I could give it a -10 I would, so bad

This company is pathetic I've been struggling to get my service reconnected paid them and now I have to wait almost a week to reconnect my services. I urge no one to deal with them as the service is pathetic the worst I have ever experienced
what went wrong this time ??? They are crooks take your money then suspend your account and you cannot get hold of them on phone or chat they then threaten you with credit rating listing stay away
