I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this store.

I purchased Icebreaker Oasis 200 leggings and requested an exchange solely due to incorrect sizing. The item was only tried on briefly over underwear, as is standard practice for base layer clothing, and remained in original condition.

The store refused the exchange, claiming that the item is classified as “underwear” and therefore non-returnable. However, there is no indication on the product packaging or website that this item is underwear, nor is there any hygiene seal or warning stating that opening the product makes it non-returnable. The website also does not clearly list this item as excluded from returns.

I would have understood this position if it were a common or clearly established industry practice. However, other retailers such as Rock & Snow, as well as Icebreaker themselves, confirm that this product is treated as a base layer garment and is normally eligible for exchange when tried on appropriately. This inconsistency is what made the experience particularly surprising.
Despite providing a reasoned explanation and referring to UK consumer law regarding distance purchases and hygiene exemptions, the store maintained a rigid and dismissive position and refused to resolve the issue reasonably.

This is the first time I have encountered such an approach from a retailer. The lack of transparency in return policies and the unwillingness to engage constructively with a customer is very disappointing.

I would strongly advise others to be cautious and to clarify return conditions in writing before purchasing.

I bought the pork pie hat for my Dad for Christmas. When it arrived I feared that it was too small so asked them to exchange it for a large which they did. When my Dad tried it on on Christmas Day it was to big. I sent the hat back with some money to cover postage and their inconvenience. They promptly sent me the medium hat and returned my money. What a great service. I highly recommend this company to all. Thank you Natural Man 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

My second purchase from this store. My Iron & Rust heavy twill working trousers are extremely well made and built to LAST! Excellent quality and an instant favourite..
The items are not the cheapest, but there is that saying about getting what you pay for! I'll certainly be going back.

I've bought a few bits of kit from Natural Man now, and they're always top of my list when researching quality gear. So far I've had a leather jacket, some leather gloves, a lightweight waterproof jacket and a hand axe. All have arrived promptly, are top quality and sensibly priced

I ordered on the Monday and I had my Frost River bag by Wednesday. It was shipped almost instantly. I was hesitant at first due to the lack of reviews but took a chance as Mark came back to me quite quickly on emails. I was also skeptical as this is the only place in the UK that stocked this Frost River bag I wanted! I am really glad I gave them a chance and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Natural man to my friends and family. Looking forward to the shop opening! Thank you :)

I purchased some thermals and a neck warmer and managed to order it the wrong address. Realising my mistake I contacted natural man to change the address and they sorted it out quickly, and without any fuss.

When the items arrived they were exactly as ordered and I was pleased with the quality and value for money.

Asked a question about a product via email, no reply, rang the store, no answer, asked the question on social media, again no answer. Checking their social media and the obvious lack of genuine people using this store, I’d recommend avoiding.

I have bought several items over the years from Natural Man and have never been disappointed.
Delivery is quick. Pricing is good and not many stores sell the high quality sustainable gear that Natural Man does.
On the rare occasion where I have had to return or change an item it has never been a problem.
Highly recommended all round.

wg tracking dotarła do polski i została zwrócona ze względu na nieprawidłowy adres. Od tego czasu nie mogę doprosić się o znalezienie przesyłki ani o zwrot pieniędzy. Kontakt fatalny, najpierw nie odpowiadają na maile , później piszą że przesyłka od 14 dni jest w drodze do UK...brak chęci rozwiązania sprawy. Nie polecam.

I ordered a pork pie hat in September/ October 2024 but stupidly forgot to change the size to XL on the drop down. It was a Saturday or Sunday when I ordered so no one answered the phone at Natural Man. I tried again on Monday morning and spoke to a decent chap on the phone who informed me they didn’t have any XL hats in stock and kindly cancelled the order.

My most recent experience is the purchase of a Fallkniven Thor NL1 chopper/ survival knife. The item itself is a work of art, a real beauty. Very happy with my purchase and the service provided. Next day delivery, it’s only a shame that DPD in my area are not very good.

I am surprised Natural Man has such few reviews! I will certainly be using again.

I am also surprised that another reviewer has said they are the most expensive around. At time of purchase with Black Friday, the NL1 was almost £97 cheaper at Natural Man than the only other seller with the same product.

I order an icebreaker long sleeve short, mid night navy colour, and they sent me a black one instead. How can such a basic error be made. I won't be using them again.

Ordered some Icebreaker thermals which were difficult to find elsewhere. Received them at home within 24 hours. Kept up to date on dispatch and delivery tracking. Exactly what I was wanting.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of engaging with Natural Man store, which left me profoundly disappointed. Despite reaching out with inquiries, their lack of responsiveness was glaring, and they offered no assistance whatsoever. Furthermore, it's worth noting that their pricing is notably higher than industry averages. Regrettably, I cannot recommend shopping here, as there are numerous other establishments with superior service and pricing. My experience with them was regrettable, and I advise potential customers to explore alternative options.

I just purchased a Frost River Arrowhead Rolltop ECO Backpack. From start to finish I must say this was an excellent shopping experience. Mark was quick to reply to all my questions, down to the smallest details.
Shipping was quick and even with going through my country's custom process, my bag arrived within a week from its purchase.
The product arrived in environmentally friendly packaging in EXCELLENT condition and is as described on the website.
I highly recommend Natural Man and will HAPPILY buy from them again!!!

Now this company is very professional. Everything down to the fine detail. I have ordered off Natural Man several time before and every time it as been a professional service. High quality and thought out website . Packaging is one of the best. Communication was top marks . Made a request on ordering if it was possible to dispatch two days after because we were away on extended holiday. Wow, I've had a few rucksacks over the years but nothing like the 'Frost River' sacks. Absolutely stunning robust quality, functionality and style - very impressed. I know they're not as light as more technical sacks but for hardy work bags out in the great outdoors they should last for a long time. Great speedy service too from Naturalman.
