We have been using Navicat for over a decade now, since 2010. I, personally, have tried other options, as Navicat is most certainly not the cheapest tool. However, it has been consistently good over the years at building, updating, and importing databases. We have large databases in a live cycle SaaS application that we work on heavily. It just works and works well. No matter if we are working on Macs or Windows, it gets the job done.

I like navicat a bit more than datagrip, but it is so much more expensive. After the third year, I have to pay only 119 USD for DataGrip (in the first and second year price is higher), but 650 USD for Navicat. Why do you charge so much more for quite a similar product? You should reduce pricing (no more than 200$ per year for premium version) and then I will go back to you, but no way I will pay so much for a database UI tool.

I've had so many issues with the software, and when I need support, it takes a long time to get an answer.

We've been using the database modeler which is now "corrupt" and the team is unable to work.

The MacOS version and Windows version are inconsistent. If you have a team of developers working with different OS, the Navicat behaves differently, it syncs data differently. This topic has been a frustration for a while.

Now the activation code doesn't seem to work.
