While the shipping charges go to actual freight costs, the handling helps cover packaging materials and the expenses of handling smaller orders which do not cover these expenses. This allows us to keep the pricing lower on all of our products. I hope that this helps explain why we have this policy, and we really appreciate you taking the time to contact us.

Hello Bruce. Thank you for your business and kind words. You're right when you point out that Amazon's lead times are shorter, and we certainly do not attempt to compete with them on that category. However, compared to other custom-made connectivity manufacturers, our lead times of between 2 and 4 weeks are much faster. Our products are of the highest quality and manufactured right here in the US, which is another huge differentiator with Amazon. Please, let us know if there's anything else we can do for you.

You are correct to say we are the only place to get them in the US, and there's a reason for this: they're unique, labor intensive and not a mass market product. Our XLR adapters are built in house, on Neutrik connectors, which as we're sure you know, are of the best quality.
