Company tried to steal my private plate…
Company tried to steal my private plate
was looking to purchase a plate and in my horror i actually found my plate i had owned 20 years and currently on a vehicle for sale !!
To make matter worse it was everywhere on many sites but they all stated that Net plates was the culprit 3rd party that was giving them all the information claiming they owned my plate.
DVLA said to report to trading standards
beware your own plate is not on this site
In response to your reply I left my review AFTER you took it down not before
You can put whatever you like about it wasn’t yours to sell and not to worry but still did not say why you was trying to sell it to start with without any permission
Every other number plate seller fingered you as the person tell the rest of them to sell it and I have the emails to prove it

However, if you had contacted us, before leaving a review, we would have been able to put your mind at rest and confirm that we are absolutely not claiming ownership of your registration or trying to ‘steal’ the registration. Providing you have the paperwork, no one is able to take ownership of a registration so your concern is unnecessary.
Net Plates has been trading for almost 15 years and operates in full compliance with DVLA guidance and UK trading standards. We would never claim to own a registration other than our company stock. We sell on behalf of millions of third parties, we would not claim to own any of their registrations, we are simply providing a service, assisting them in the sale of their registrations.
Net Plates advertises over 67 million registrations so I am sure you will appreciate we are largely dependant on owners updating us when availability changes. Now we are aware that your registration is not for sale, it has been removed from our website

I am really impressed with Net Plates. I Purchased a plate this week as a surprise for my partners birthday & was finding the process very confusing and I have to say Natasha couldn't have made the process any easier. Quick, slick, and got my new V5 in a couple of days. Didn't leave my sofa. Top service.
I bought my own number plate as I only needed a rear one for my bike (square shape) and there was no way of specifying this that I could see. Much cheaper, but if you haven't got time to go and get one yourself they'll do the lot. Highly recommended.
