Arrived fairly promptly and well packed. No instructions enclosed. Slight difficulty with assembly. Very stiff to slide up and down when fitted in place so will just use tilt blades as often as possible. It looks nice though.

So pleased with our blind. After being disappointed with another company, we went back to the drawing board and looked at Newblinds. We were able to find an extra large blind to fit our window which seemed impossible elsewhere. It was a really good price and arrived quickly. It looks fab in our window. My only gripe would be the lack of communication when the blind had been despatched and when we could expect delivery. Unbeknown to us, it had been delivered and left in our garden all weekend, with no notification. Worth it in the end though. Gemma was helpful too.

The blinds arrived very well packaged and protected. Fitting was very easy, they are a tight fit, but they have to be. Whoever came up with the credit card measurement methodology was inspired! it makes things so much easier.
When I had a query re: delivery, my queries were answered very quickly and efficiently (Thanks Melanie) putting my mind at rest.
I've already placed two orders and will be ordering more in the new year.

Good quality blinds and pleased with them. Only reason for 4 stars was a problem with the delivery which I had to chase up. Not sure if the company or the courier got it wrong but arrived quickly after I contacted them.

Original post: I purchased Perfect Fit shutter blinds from Newblinds.co.uk for just over £300, and unfortunately the experience has been extremely disappointing.
Fitting the blinds was difficult from the beginning because my window has a handle at the bottom. At point of purchase, I was asked for the window handle position and was charged extra for having window handles at the bottom, which led me to believe the blinds would be suitable and would come with a rebate (that additional £14.12 charge was only refunded after I complained upon receiving the blinds and finding there was no rebate).
Once installing the blinds after having to navigate the issues with the window handle, the quality issues were clear. The brackets didn’t seem strong enough to support the weight of the shutters. The blinds fell off the window frame multiple times and several slats broke into pieces. I have documented photos of this.
For context, I have Perfect Fit shutters from another company (Order Blinds) fitted on a different window in my home and those have been completely secure with no issues at all. For the window in question, I eventually removed the Newblinds.co.uk product altogether as they just kept falling off the window frame and replaced it blinds from a different supplier (Blinds2Go) — which fit perfectly and have caused no problems. This really highlighted the contrast in quality.
Due to the issues I experienced with the blinds from Newblinds.co.uk, I subsequently raised a dispute with American Express, but Newblinds.co.uk contested it and the bank ruled in their favour. I then took the matter to the Financial Ombudsman. Despite the photos I provided, they concluded there was insufficient evidence to prove the blinds were faulty without examination. I did not accept their final decision, as it does not reflect what actually happened. I believe I received a low quality product and I’m sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision. Based on the quality of the product I received and the overall customer experience, I would not purchase from Newblinds.co.uk again.

Thank you to Newblinds.co.uk for taking the time to respond. I’m adding this update so readers have the full picture from my experience as a genuine customer.
1. “All Perfect Fit Shutters are identical” – this has not matched my experience
I appreciate the explanation about the Louvolite system, but in practice the quality of my shutters from Newblinds.co.uk was noticeably poorer than the shutters I’ve bought from other suppliers, including Order Blinds.
The components may be from the same manufacturer, but other factors involved in the process clearly make a difference. My review reflects the product I personally received.
2. Window handle configuration
I followed the measuring instructions on the website, including selecting the bottom handle position exactly as shown.
Other suppliers I’ve used did not require the same additional charges, and the shutters from them fitted without the issues I experienced here.
Newblinds refunded the £14.12 additional charge as I previously stated, which I appreciate, but the this didn’t resolve the problems with stability which resulted in me spending even more money on replacements with another company.
3. Lack of evidence / photos
It’s true that they requested photos and videos. I provided the information I could at the time, but the shutters were not staying in place and repeatedly fell, which made it difficult to capture everything they asked for while trying to keep the panels from dropping.
Regardless, the shutters were not usable as delivered, which is ultimately what matters to me as a customer.
4. Independent review
As I mentioned in my initial post, American Express and the Financial Ombudsman Service assessed the dispute based on the information available to them, but I would like to highlight this is not the same as a technical inspection of the shutters in person. Their findings don’t change the fact that the product I received was faulty in use and below the standard I’ve had from other Louvolite suppliers.
My conclusion:
I’m glad Newblinds.co.uk have shared their perspective.
My review simply reflects my actual experience: the shutters supplied to me did not stay in place, and were not comparable in quality to identical-style shutters I’ve purchased from other companies. I stand by my feedback so future customers can make an informed decision. And based on my personal experience (I’ve essentially wasted £300), I would strongly advise potential customers to consider other suppliers instead.

Organised blinds from Newblinds.co.uk to be installed for my friend, who developed extreme sensitivity to light. It was during the summer and we needed a quick turnaround, because of the light nights. The delivery was very speedy and they were very easy to install. The blinds did a fantastic job as they are fitted to the actual window frames. 100% recommend.

It's been a month and I still haven't received my order. Courier just said they'll send it out when they can. Can't speak to anyone at New blinds, it's all by email so no joy there as well. Probably fine if your order goes right but no customer support if it goes wrong.
Edit: Thanks for your reply. You should have all my details from the email I sent you, but you can disregard it anyway. I've just been down to the depot to pick the order up myself.
2nd Edit: If you're now saying you haven't received my email, that just sums up my whole experience doesn't it.

Have ordered many times before and always the blinds were excellent. This time, the cords on the roller blind were made wrong and this means that the blinds won't open all the way. Really disappointing because the blind colour and material are really nice. I contacted customer service who have been responsive -- they are going to send me new mechanisms to put into the blinds that will allow them to unroll all the way. But shouldn't NewBlinds have taken more responsibility for making the blinds poorly rather than forcing me to remake them at home? I haven't received the replacement parts yet and have no information on when to expect them, so not sure whether this will solve the problem.
