We bought our copper pans over 30 years ago in France. They were badly in need of retinning. So glad we found Steve and Newlyn Tinning. He kept us updated throughout the process, which was quicker than we expected.
Got the pans back today looking brighter than when they were new.

I had a tankard which was in poor condition, a bit leaky and reclining required. This was a charity shop purchase which didn't cost the earth, it appeared to have some age to it.
Looked up re tinning services and sent photo to Stephen. Who said he could have a look at it.
Sent it down to Newlyn and Stephen was in contact a couple of weeks later.
Unfortunately due to the materials used in the tankard (Indian apparently) he was unable to re-tin it. It was returned to me all clean and shiny with leaks sealed.
I was in e-mail contact throughout and am very happy with the service provided even though re tinning wasn't possible.

Did a really excellent job refurbishing and re-tinning my copper sauté pan. The pan was in poor condition beforehand but is now gleaming and transformed. Communication, price, time taken were all excellent. I can’t recommend Newlyn Tinning highly enough and I will definitely use them again in the future should the need arise.

Newlyn Tinning did a fantastic job on my two flambe work frying pans which when purchased for £2.50 each from a charity shop had been used to death with little or no tin left on them now having spent some money on them they are good for another fifty years if used correctly.

My experience of Newlyn tinning has been excellent. The reception when I took my cook ware into the firm was friendly and very informative. I had to wait a little time before the work could be completed but when it was finished the cookware was returned to me in brilliant condition and posted and packed faultlessly. This was one of my most lucky finds on the internet. My copper pots had needed retinning for a long time and I had not been able to use them. Newlyn Tinning gave me an estimate, a timing when they would be ready, how best to send them and then did a wonderful job. A - stars all the way!
