Smoke and mirrors

We started working with Newson/Remoteceo May 14 2025. It is now August 2025. I have received no actual clients through this service. I have been told we had 3 appointments booked within the 4 months. I cannot verify if this took place as I only have the word of Charles Newson who said he took them personally. I however don’t know who. when, or what took place in the alleged appointments and no clients came from it. We had technical issues from the start with the outreach that did eventually get resolved about a month and a half after initial launch after many attempts to communicate on Slack and it wasn’t until I emailed Charles expressing my disappointment and requesting a refund that things got back on track because he said he would waive the time of service it wasn’t working, get one of his best teams on my account to make up for the poor performance, fix the technical issues and improve communications.So I trusted him at his word . Still, I never knew who was over my account that I could communicate with as I seemed to be handed off from person to person ( Charles, Luke, and Justin) When I asked Charles after my first email, he said Luke would be the person and Luke set up a call with me (which was brief saying Charles already briefed him on the all the issues). When I tried to reach out on Slack to Luke I did not get any responses and eventually Charles told me it was not Luke’s role and Charles would be available for any questions. Charles did make some attempt to communicate and answer some of our inquiries but too many went unanswered as well. Eventually, communication with Charles was a struggle and I tried to speak with Justin whose response when he replied was always “I’ll reach out to Charles.” Billing charged my account twice when I should not have been ( once after emailing notice of termination). Again after I was given a choice to continue to the 3 month commitment with one more payment and have them continue services until my agency got a client or end services August 14 without another payment. I chose the second option and they still billed me. I am still awaiting the last charge to be reversed. I was emailed an invoice from billing showing a refund which did not post to my account and have had to dispute it with my credit card company. After all that, Charles reached out after I left this review. He offered more services at attempt to repair things but I had lost faith and declined just wanting my charge reversed and to move on. Charles reached out once again asking me to edit my review to omit what he felt were inaccuracies. I have done so to the best of my experience. It has been a really horrible experience honestly. I really feel that while they may not consider themselves dishonest, they are deceptively creative with what they tell you and offer you but have no problem taking your money. They do not deliver on anything close to what they elude to. Between technical issues, organizational issues, and poor communication, it seems almost nothing about this company delivers as advertised (be sure to read the small print within the links no matter the conversation ) or even close. The one positive I can share is the Linkedin outreach program once issues were resolved did seem to operate satisfactorily as I did see responses and messages. Extremely disappointed in the time and money I wasted with this company. What have I gained from this experienced? A smaller bank account, no clients, and a diminished outlook for outsourced lead generation.

Appointments & Service – Three appointments were generated, with all three sales calls handled directly on your behalf (recordings are held for accountability). While these did not result in closed clients, our service delivers outreach, appointments, and closing support — no agency can guarantee signed deals, especially in highly niche markets.

Campaign Foundations – At the outset there was no firm pricing, defined ICP, or supporting collateral in place. Although not part of our agreed scope, we went out of our way to help shape your offer, advise on pricing, and build your GTM ICP — all at no additional charge. It seems this additional work has been overlooked in your comments. It is also worth noting, for transparency, that during the first week of your campaign your website was down. Something we reported to you and which prospects themselves commented on. Naturally this impacted our ability to generate leads and potential clients on your behalf, although we continued outreach efforts regardless.

Timeframe & Expectations – Concerns were raised within two weeks of the campaign beginning, and there was a request to end after a single payment, despite a clear three-month minimum term. Lead generation requires testing and refinement, and time which is precisely why industry-standard contracts run over several months. Comparable services typically cost 3–4x more and still require 3–6 months before results are fairly assessed. We were given 2 weeks before you raised your concerns.

Billing & Refunds – Our system billed correctly in line with contract terms. In good faith, we waived two full payments we were contractually entitled to (the final month of the term and the 30-day cancellation period). Refund documentation was provided immediately, though you continue to claim it was not received. We are confident readers will see this for what it is.

Technical Issues – There were early outreach technical issues which were resolved within weeks, after which the system operated properly. You yourself acknowledged in your review that once fixed, the outreach produced satisfactory responses.

We are genuinely disappointed that the significant additional support, waived fees, and goodwill gestures we extended have been met with such a harsh review. While we respect your right to share your perspective, describing us as “dishonest” after receiving outreach, booked appointments, consultancy, and refunded payments goes beyond the facts.

For prospective clients: we delivered the contracted outreach and call-handling service, went significantly beyond scope to support with ICP, pricing, and collateral, and even refunded payments we were fully entitled to. Our commitment to transparency, effort, and integrity remains the same in every client campaign.

Did not provide what they promised and will not provide a refund.

Simply, they did not fulfill their agreement to provide me 10 booked appointments per month. I was provided 1qualified appointment, and 1 unqualified appointment over approximately 6 months. I requested a refund and have never heard from them since. They won't even respond to me in our Slack channel to discuss how to resolve the issue. I do not recommend doing business with this company.

To early to give a definitive rating but here's my experience so far

In all honesty, too early to give them a definitive rating. I subscribed to their meetings booked services around the end of Nov 2024. As of this point, we'd be approaching the 4 month mark and we're still in the ramp up phase. They seem to be facing multiple technical challenges and that's what I hear every time i ask for a status. On the bright side of things, they have a pretty responsive team, albeit the response not being of much use.

Nothing delivered so far, not sure if anything will be. But they've been kind enough so as to not charge beyond the first 3 months that I paid upfront, lets see.
I hope I end up coming back here and changing this rating to a full 5 stars, and I'd be very happy to do that if I see some results. Either that or I'll need to hire someone else.

Been very pleasurable working with their team. I'm a financial advisor based in the US and have a need for appointments to keep my cash flow going. I don't have time to do prospecting as I am always travelling, in meetings with clients, or on business trips. This outsourced team has provided me what I need. Meetings and results.

Game changing for Business Development

I operate a US-company in hardware and IOT cloud services. I thought at first with newson's HQ being in UK, it would be a challenge for them to understand the US market. However I quickly found out they have a huge team in the US and an impressive amount of market knowledge in the States.

The company was not simple, we had tried many providers and knew that generating SQL's for our use case and requirements wasn't an easy task. At first things were quiet but newson and their team stuck at the task, they refined our offer and make some changes to the outreach data.

I was impressed by their ability to resolve issues and make changes which ultimately led to our success of closing a $127,000 value new client.

They deserve the recognition for their diligence and support in our sales campaign. We will be a long time customer of newson as a result.

Signed up for Newson lead software 5 days ago. Got interested leads, booked an appointment and got a newson sales closer to close the deal for me. 6 days in and a sale of $3600.

newson has led my marketing agency to new heights. They have delivered fantastically well in lead generation, appointment setting and sales closing. Really please with the results and service received from newson. They ran a very advanced high end client acquisition service and have supplied me with several high-value meetings and found me new business. I have a tough niche and their data they've acquired is first class. Definitely recommend using them.

You have to use these guys if you need more leads or meetings. I signed up on the starter plan, took a few weeks to get going but after 2 months it's gone from strength to strength and the ROI has been huge for our business. We really appreciate the work newson have been doing for us.
