Professional Home Fitting Standalone
Nextbase now offers a professional fitting service conducted by our partner and their trained engineers. This standalone service is for customers that have already purchased a Nextbase Dash Cam. Fitting can be at a place of your choosing, including your home or workplace (within UK mainland), to offer the ultimate convenience. The team of trained fitters can hardwire your Nextbase dash cam into a range of vehicles including cars, lorries, trucks, and vans. They will mount dash cam to your windscreen, ensuring it gets the optimum viewing angle, and connect it your fuse box meaning no wires are on show. The skilled engineers can hardwire in any of the current dash cam range, including rear camera modules when purchased direct from our site. Sold out

How it works? The Professional Home Fitting includes the Nextbase Hardwire Kit (RRP £25) in the cost of purchase. This will be delivered to you prior to the installation with the team. The RS Connect team of fitters will be in touch via text message shortly after the order is placed to arrange a suitable date and time for installation. Our partners, RS Connect also offer a home fitting service when ordering a Dash Cam via our website. This 'standalone' service is primarily for those that have already purchased a Dash Cam and would like it professionally installed.
Disclaimer The fitters will only fit brand new Nextbase Dash Cams purchased either directly via the Nextbase website, or via an approved retailer. Please be aware that spare adhesive mounting pads are provided inside the box in case of any change of vehicle or failure. We are happy to offer a replacement adhesive plate in accordance with our 12-month warranty policy should it be needed. The RS Connect installation service does not cover revisits for the purpose of reapplying a new adhesive to your windscreen. Home fitting appointment times vary, but normally fall within 1-2 weeks. During the busy seasons (Black Friday and Christmas) these times will be affected. (No Rear Window Camera Cable supplied) Installation Questions + Why should I get my Dash Cam professionally fitted? It gives you a neat and tidy connection in your vehicle as no wires are on sight. Recommended for use with the Intelligent Parking Mode feature on all models, particularly when using a Rear Camera model too. The hardwire kit ensures you always stay connected and you never need to worry about knocking the cigarette lighter socket out of place. It frees up your 12V power supply to use with other devices – e.g. charging your phone.

After a long period of time waiting for the rear camera cable it’s now fitted back on my car and up and running. You can’t fault the quality of the product and quality of the video footage, just a pity it took so long to get the rear cable otherwise I had a very expensive camera doing nothing

This is the third Nextbase dashcam that I've had fitted by RS Connect now. The fitters have always done a great job, arrived when expected and have been friendly and polite.

Conflicts with the cars WiFi and I cannot connect with the app to view any videos which is a nuisance.

Needed my old Nextbase cameras refitted to my new car. Great service arrived as expected with a call to say when they would arrive (could also track). All fitted as in old car. Unfortunately I had ordered wrong cable to link front to rear cameras. Fitter had installed before realising the mistake. Have tried to order correct cable but out of stock. ( been this way for at least 3 weeks). So at moment rear camera not functioning.

The home fitting service is excellent: the guy did a fine job. However the hardwire kit does not include a cable for the rear camera (this was a refit from a car which we had sold). and this is not apparent from the Nextbase site, nor was I alerted of this when I bought the kit. Nextbase must be aware that we were fitting two cameras as they supplied them. We only found out about this when the chap came to do the installation in the new car but as we had only a cable for the front one that was all he could install. Even more frustrating, one month on, Nextbase still have no cables in stock so I remain waiting to buy one to enable me to have the rear camera fitted.

Fitter never contacted me, just got an email from the company saying they would have to rearrange as he had not been able to contact me!! He returned after i had complained to the company (RS i think) but obviously peeved that i had complained ,his attitude was a disgrace!
