Stayed in the Linden Leaf Hotel in Beeston. Was a lovely stay, room as described, nice and clean.

I'd like to thank Niche for making my stay stress free during my recent visit to Chelmsford. I arrived late, so the self check in option was perfect. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and just what I expected for a short visit. Highly recommended

We booked a flat in Essex. At first glance, the room looked good and tidy; however, the bedding was not fresh and had a bad smell, and the bathroom heater did not work. When we asked them to change the bedding, they refused to provide fresh linen. The bathroom heater still did not work, even though they charge £130 per night. For what???

When we arrived there were a few issues with the shower and amenities. These were all fixed promptly and with great service. The apartment is very in Chelmsford - perfect location. Wish the same could be said for the weather!! Lovely apartment.

I travel for work so require more of a home from home..
the apartment was exactly that!
Clean, comfortable and with all fixtures and fittings supplied that I needed for a 4 week stay.
House keeping was arranged to suit my needs to keep the place fresh and clean.
Management were fantastic throughout the whole stay, I contacted prior to booking with some question regarding some of my requirements and they couldn’t have been more helpful, I needed a bit of assistance with some of the appliances help was given straight away, One of the bulbs in the living area started to flash a couple of weeks into my stay, I contacted management and maintenance was on site within 24 hours and bulbs were swapped, so 10/10 for that.
Can’t fault the whole experience!
I will be booking again.

We booked Park Square apartment in Leeds for family, including 2 small children) that were visiting us for Christmas. The apartment was dirty and I believe the quality not sufficient to rent out as a let in its current unmaintained state.

Bedding provided seemed unwashed with dirty marks and mildew. Towels smelled musty. As our family arrived late on a night, we bought across bedding from our home for all the 4 bedrooms (6 beds) which then had to be taken to a laundrette afterwards at a cost of £35.

The central heating stopped working during our stay because the batteries had run out, which meant we had to buy replacement batteries ourselves in order to have heating.

The apartment was under-equipped for the 8 person let with insufficient cutlery, meaning we had to purchase our own, along with cleaning products so we could clean the apartment ourselves before it was usable.

Numerous maintenance and safety issues were present throughout the stay, including a broken single bed base, freezer iced over, large stains on the sofa, sticky carpets, a shower stuck on very hot, and a dirty, lidless kitchen bin with no liner. The cooker and heating were difficult to use, and the smoke detector did not activate when the room filled with smoke from the toaster, raising serious safety concerns.

The shared stairwell leading to the apartment was also in poor condition, with heavily stained carpets and an external window that was stuck open and could not be closed.

New bedding was provided by Niche, but this was 2 days too late. Bin liners were also supplied at this time, plus tea towels, as only one had been provided on arrival. I had personally already purchased more for our 8 guests.

Having contact Niche Apartment Services during the stay, they were responsive up to the offer of requesting new accommodation. They had offered to show us two apartments to house our 8 guests, but we never heard back from them when we took them up on this offer to look at the apartments- this was in the run up to Christmas. We’ve been in touch since our family left and are seeking compensation for the condition of the apartment and for costs incurred. They responded after I posted the review, negatively thus far.

We had booked 6 weeks in a flat in Spondon derby, and had paid over £2,000 when we got into the rental it was disgusting . Semen stains on the headboard and faeces on the mattress and blood on the bathroom walls. The smoke alarms were taped up, oven was filthy and freezer was full of old food. Bathroom window couldn't close and the glass was broken. The flat looked nothing like the pictures on booking.com we instantly complained and moved out the next day into a different rental. They have refused to refund us and they thought that everything was okay. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Apartment was all clean very good for the price and the experience it’s self very easy check in and easy to communicate with the company would definitely recommend and stay again

We lived in Niche’s flat for 10 weeks as temporary accommodation and Niche were very accommodating. They were always quick to answer us and help us with anything we needed. The apartment was lovely, clean and very modern, and was a home away from home. Martyn, Lucy and Steph in particular were extremely helpful and assisted us with various things that we needed help with whilst we were there. We would 100% recommend Niche and would not hesitate to book again. We are so grateful Niche, thanks for your support and lovely accommodation.

DO NOT STAY – Extremely Unsafe, Especially for Solo Travelers

I arrived to find the building in a disturbing state—windows and the front door were covered in paint, completely obscuring the flat number. I wasn’t even sure I was at the correct address until I tried the keys.

More alarmingly, the window and letterbox on the front door were broken. This posed a serious safety risk, as it would be easy for someone to break in. As a solo traveler, I felt incredibly vulnerable.

I immediately reported the issue to Niche Serviced Apartments and was told management would contact me within 48 hours, and that the window would be boarded up the following day. No one ever confirmed if this was done, nor did anyone check on my wellbeing or where I had ended up staying.

Despite multiple emails, calls, and texts chasing a response, I only heard back after the 48-hour window. I was then informed there would be no refund, as they did not consider the broken window and door a safety concern.

Completely unacceptable service and an unsafe property. I would strongly advise others—especially solo travelers—not to stay here.

Great facilities and Everything was effortless

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay. The house is lovely and very spacious, but it lacked some furniture downstairs for 9 adults, and a few more pans would have been handy for such a large group of big eaters. The hot tub was a pleasant surprise and was well used. The Tesco close by was also a bonus. A big thank you to the hosts for making our staying experience a lovely one.
