From Start to finish, the Company - based at the Weston-Super-Mare branch - provided an excellent service. The quotes were competitive and all queries and concerns answered swiftly. A moving date that changed three or four times, each time with a few days' notice, was no bother for them and they were always at pains to ease our concerns.
For the move itself, the team of three worked efficiently and tirelessly on what was a challenging assignment both in volume and timescales. A two-day pack followed by a 150 mile drive then an unload the next day seemed effortless. Evidently using their many years' experience, they were constantly focussed on the job in hand but at the same time always good humoured. No challenge was too great, no ask too big.
Thanks to all the team for bringing calm, professionalism and sheer hard work to the stressful situation that is a house move.

This company are a nightmare to deal with, no one know anything and every request is met with, " you need to email accounts for that "

They finally charged over double what was quoted, failed to send any form of itemised bill or invoice and wouldn't deliver anything until it was paid in full, still no itemised bill, and then they refused to unpack because we had nothing to prove that we had paid for unpacking.

Trustpilot seem to think that these people are untrustworthy, I would tend to agree.

My advice, for what its worth, is that you should avoid this company at all costs.

The team of packers and delivery staff were exceptional. They worked unbelievably hard. With all the steps involved which the company were made aware of at the onset of booking and what we paid we were assured there would be 3 men. Instead 2 had to work for almost 12 hours on the 3rd day to complete the job and didn’t complain once. Unfortunately we didn’t get it in writing that 3 men would be provided. I think management should be more aware of the health risks for their staff.

I’d like to leave a review for our last minute removal session from Nightingales. The whole team were very understanding and handled everything with care. Myself and Mrs Demount cannot recommend Nightingales enough.

I've moved twice with Nightingales over the last 6 months and both times I have been very happy with the service. The staff - both at the sharp end, but also the support and admin team - made me feel very confident and that I was not just 'another customer' but that my wife and I were important to them. They are extremely friendly team, happy to go an extra mile. I was nervous about some items which were very important to us and difficult to move - but they handled everything brilliantly. Very happy with the service and would recommend them without hesitation.

Oh my god. These guys are like machines. It was a hot day and they kept going and going and going. Kevin,Russell and Kray were absolutely brilliant. Could not fault them. They even engaged with my kids and made them laugh and smile at such a stressful time. Next time I move house I will definitely be using nightingales. Amazing job guys. You are the best. This is the third time I’ve used Nightingale Removals and they’ve been brilliant every time. Colin and Steve were most helpful with the initial arrangements and the team who moved me on the day were superb. Thank you so much!

I dealt with the weston branch to move me and can’t praise them enough from start to finish they were excellent, took away all the stress I was feeling and nothing was to much trouble, on arriving at new home everything was put where I wanted it, even plumbed My washing machine in. The firm offered a competitive price and were flexible when our purchase plans went wrong. The office team was polite and effective and the removal team arrived on time, was hard working, pleasant and effective and finished when they said they would. Everything was packed safely and the boxes were put into the rooms we asked them to be put in.

We were given a price over the phone we paid the deposit to book the day then they sent the invoice to us and the price was higher when we complained they said that was the price quoted very disappointed

I was going to use this service for my move from Bristol to Cheddar so had to do some background research as this was the only company that seemed like a nice small, family-run business and I wanted to support it. After digging deeper and deeper, I realised that the CEO of this is notoriusly known for being a money-grabbing fraud. Offers great service but breaks things, refuses to pay out on insurance and threatens anyone who speaks out against him (this you can see from multiple different reviews). You will also notice that all of the recent positive reviews are all made by clearly fake names. Usually there is nothing wrong with that but if you look closely, you will see that all of those reviews are weirdly placed in the same time frame, all saying pretty much the same thing and each account has only posted one review. How bizzare.

Booking was made easy, staff were very helpful working around my schedule,
The movers were polite, quiet, and hard working, all my belongings arrived on time, and undamaged, thank you Nightingales, you made what is usually a stress filled ordeal, as pain and stress free as possible

Scam of a company they give the highest of prices for the smallest of services
Was recomended by friend as they had a good experience. I got a quote which was way too much! Go with a different company itll be better value for money
Only positive thing about this experience was he survey. Gentleman was very lovely and informative

I wish I had got other quotes and not looked at the reviews here thinking they were ok. They were twice as expensive when I got quotes after.
I now see that this company has 2 Trustpilot profiles. One for their .co.uk website and one .com. It’s the same company, and the same website, but it seems they are trying to create a new 5 star image. Trustpilot has highlighted that the old profile has breached their terms and conditions and is misleading. Their removals crew were ok but they damaged my stuff. I paid for insurance but a guy called Richard said I wasn’t covered under their insurance. He wouldn’t tell me who the insurance company was. Next time I’m hiring a man with a van. No point in using a company like this. They say they provide free boxes but they ask for £100 deposit then forget to refund and kick up a fuss when you ask for it back. I tried calling another depot to talk to someone else. They haven’t got depots all over the country. They have just got the one office in Weston super mare according to the girl on the phone. They use the Which logo on their Google reviews. I emailed Which. They are not registered with them. Not happy with these guys at all. Trustpilot please review the profiles of this company

Can’t recommend them enough! The 3 guys that moved us were amazing, nothing was too much trouble from organising furniture in rooms to having a key to open the meter boxes. They made the whole process go really smoothly and I am I thankful to them. Really supportive and super helpful.

Those handling the removal into and out of storage were fine. Their office staff were civil but seemingly out of their depth in handling the problem.
I felt pressurised throughout my dealings with them as they insisted on a Direct Debit arrangement. It gave them the whip hand.
Their Contract details were far from clear so I found charges were added on unknowingly to me.
I tried over months to iron out difficulties but they only responded sensibly after I had gone to their National Organization, BAR
I ended up with the Ombudsman and my claim was rejected!
Overall a horrid experience, the worst I have encountered in a long life.

Left feeling totally exploited by Nightingale Removals (Weston-super-Mare), the day before the full packing service they called me to inform me the price of moving was doubling! Despite a video survey where they stated all was good.

I appealed to the ombudsman but they wouldn’t comment on the price increase or notice period given but ruled because a few items were missing from original paper schedule (where I highlighted the request for video survey) Nightingale were entitled to increase price - even though a subsequent video survey was completed, where they confirmed all was good!

Throughout the whole process I was chasing Nightingales for confirmation of removal, requesting video survey, invoice before the move etc - but was told “don’t worry, it’s all in hand”. I have been left feeling this was all part of the plan to leave me vulnerable with no alternative but to pay the extortionate amount - close to £10k to move a family 4 bed home.

Nightingale offered no flexibility in trying to find a workable solution (I offered to move the garage contents myself which they had on video) but was informed take it or leave it the day before our family home move.

I would avoid at all cost, other friends speak very highly of Yeates removals.
