I can say that from start to finish the installation with Northern Eco, was excellent...communication was very good, and any queries or issues were dealt with in a professional and speedy manner...I am just waiting for some final paperwork to register my inverter and solar panels.
The installation company's used by Northern eco to do the work carried out were also first class..

Smooth and easy from beginning to end, very helpful in all aspects!

I had new radiators and a boiler installed. All of my contact with the company was handled professionally and within a suitable time frame from start to finish, from my initial telephone enquiry through to install. Inbetween I had contact with the office also to provide requested documents to approve my application for a grant, this was always handled professionally and the lady I spoke to was reassuring and friendly and explained the whole process to me.
I would definitely recommend this company from a very happy, cosy and warm customer.

Northern Eco came and assessed us for installation of solar panels and a heat pump under the government scheme .The process was fully explained to us .
Work was started very promptly and the workers throughout the job were courteous, explaining how and why they were doing things . Great lads nothing too much trouble and would definitely recommend this company to anybody considering having this done

Northern eco came and did a survey for the installation of an air heat pump and internal wall insulation. I got a fully funded grant and work and installation started within a month of the survey. The air heat pump. Is very cheap to run and my house is now lovely and warm. Fully recommend

This company was assigned to carry out the installation of a heat pump and solar panels under the ECO4 government scheme,they however did not actually do the installation and employed a different contractor who were Grant Store limited.The installation was not good.My house gets the sun on both the front and rear roofs,the front getting the most intense energy of the afternoon and evening sun when the sun is much stronger due to its elevation in the sky and the fact that the suns rays are less attenuated as they travel through a thinner atmospheric layer.They only installed solar panels on the rear roof even though the surveying engineer said they would do both.The house next door is identical and has had the same work done by a different firm who have indeed done both front and rear.Also some of the workmanship was very poor.They removed an existing radiator in the bathroom then installed the new radiator over a doorstop so now the doorstop is the radiator as the door hits the radiator every time you go into the bathroom.In the lounge rather than run the trunking in the corner of the room they said they would hiide it behind the curtains,then installed to the left of the curtains and it isnt even straight,instead of installing the radiator centrally under the window they installed it so a third of it was sticking out of the curtains on one side.In the kithchen again they did not install the radiator in a central location under a tv,it just looks odd,no care or attention to detail.In one of the bedrooms the radiator was installed so the the TRV valve was directly in front of a plug socket making that plug socket unusable,carpets were not relaid correctly and left loose even on the stairs which is a definite trip hazard.They never cleaned up their mess leaving coffee cups lying around and just threw things onto the bedroom floor that they had removed from the airing cupboard.They took some items of my possession without my consent.When i complained they sent someone out who managed to move the largest radiator in the lounge to a more central position but said the smaller radiator in the kitchen was too heavy to move??? they refused to move the radiator in the bathroom as they said it would be to close to the toilet even though there had been an existing radiator there for 20 odd years without a problem.There are plenty of firms doing these installations and they make alot of money from it,i would suggest that you do not use either of these firms
