We had new windows installed in our bungalow in Hexham. The planning and execution of the work was undertaken in a very professional and efficient manner. The standard of work was excellent and the installation team were really thorough, attentive to detail and fun to be with. Some minor follow up work was undertaken in a timely and effective way. David, Lee, and Darren were extremely helpful and professional throughout, from the initial enquiry until the final fitting. We had 5 windows and a pair of French Doors replaced with triple glazed units including acoustic glass.Brilliant.The job was completed on time , efficiently and the new units are of a very high quality.

Having researched extensively the options available we received quotes for our replacement conservatory from four companies, including the supposed brand leader. Northumbrian came in heads and shoulders above all of them not only in terms of the whole service process but also in terms of value for money. There was no attempt, as with others, to 'sign today for a special manager's discount' or any other such smoke and mirrors. Northumbria's quote was substantially less than the next nearest and around 40% less than one of the market leaders! David applied absolutely no pressure, offered really useful, realistic options and left us with the impression that he was interested in providing a good old-fashioned service rather than squeeze our bank account as hard as possible. We had to wait a little longer than we might have done with other companies, but it was well worth the wait. Lee and his installation team worked solidly for full days, barely stopping for well-deserved short tea breaks. They were courteous, considerate, tidy and very obliging. The quality of the actual conservatory is outstanding, giving a superb finished product. They left the house and garden exactly as they found them and were very respectful of our property. Alfie, the canniest of dogs, spent a couple of days overseeing the build in return for a couple of tummy rubs. We would advise any potential customers to bypass the rest with their smooth-talking salesmen and go straight for Northumbrian. Nothing was too much trouble and the standard is second to none. Excellent!

David works with another David who leads on fitting the windows once ordered. Fitter David and his team are considerate, skilled, efficient and tidy. We have recently had a number of windows replaced by Northumbeian Windows. The ordering process was easy - David and Lee turned up for appointments on time - and we were given all the information and sdvice to enable us to choose the style of windows that we wanted. We were kept informed of the expected fitting date. Lee and his team did a great job fitting the windows, were very respectful of the property and left the house spotless when they had finished. We did get quotes for the windows from one of the large national companies, but Northumbrian Windows blew them away with the quality of the windows offered and their excellent service. The price of the job was very competitive. We are very happy that we chose Northumbrian Windows and love the new windows. Thanks to David, Lee and all the team.

From start to finish our journey with Northumbrian Windows has been nothing but the best. David and his team have been consummate professionals throughout. David helped us choose the right windows for our home and then helped us navigate some planning issues in next to no time (which quite frankly would have taken me an age). As for the installation I can’t praise Lee and his team highly enough. They kept us informed of everything that was going on, always arrived on time and really knew the meaning of the word graft. What really impressed us though was their eye for detail and how everything needed to be just so (even down to the hoovering and tidying up at the end of the day), they even respected our property as if it was their own. I’m not usually moved to write reviews but given the excellent service provided by David, Lee and the rest of the team it would wrong of me not to commend their work.

Brilliant installation from start to finish.
David and Lee have been exceptional . The crew are brilliant together and very respectful of the property. I had all of my windows and one door replaced and at the end of each day there was no mess for me to clean up. Communication was great and any niggles are dealt with promptly.
The quality and look of the windows is fantastic. My house is so much warmer and quieter after installation.
I would highly recommend this company. A very positive experience!
