Had my windscreen replaced in Thames.

Had my windscreen replaced in Thames.
Noticed my analog clock or interior lights wouldn't work, took my car in and he pulled out the fuse and told me to go buy a new one and before i left the airbag sign came on. Rang back and the guy Arand blamed my car which is new being electrically stuffed and said it wasnt him, argued with me and now I have to pay $350 for partand then more for labour on top. Do not recommend Novus

After waiting for almost 2 months…

After waiting for almost 2 months cancelled my appointment on that same day by a phone call at 7am!! After very unpleasant conversation got rebooked in couple days but only to find out that they ordered wrong windscreen, even though they physically inspected the car before ordering.
No accountability of their actions, no apology or alternative options offered.
What a joke of a company!
Avoid at all times!

Well thank goodness I used Novus

Well thank goodness I used Novus this time, as a service, the staff and Management (Masterton) were wonderful. Great personal service, trustworthy staff and the car was spotless after completion of fitting a new windscreen. I am happy to recommend this company to anyone having to replace a screen.

Your customer service lady needs a…

Your customer service lady needs a better professional phone manner.An older lady who was loud, impatient and pushy.When I paused to consider my answer,after 2 seconds I get a HELLOOO....just because I slowed the pace of the call,her impatience became toned rude!

1997 Landrover Discovery

I used Novas Windshield Repairs Mount Maunganui Twice in the Last Decade when I Lived in Tauranga now that I’m Living in Albany Auckland 2025 & again I needed the Service of Novas for another Damaged Windshield Andy & Shane @ Novas Rosedale Supplied a Awesome Service I’ll be coming back to these Guys Again in the Future thank you

Had a small chip on the window so it was done via my insurance, the chap who came on-site was a bit pushy about selling me wipers. I felt uncomfortable when I kindly said ‘no thank you’ ohh and he got annoyed that the customer service failed to tell me that I needed to park my car in the shade. I apologised although not my fault I wasn’t given full instructions. He did the job but I would rather not use Novus again.

Go elsewhere…. All shades of bad

My insurance company uses these people, so I’m a hostage customer. They failed to correctly fit a windscreen, so I called to book it in to be redone. I was told they would look into it, and I was refused a time frame to undertake the repair, the telephone answer person was less than happy when I rang to say I had a work emergency and would need my car by 3:30 that afternoon, she appeared rather annoyed with my simple request and abruptly ended our call when I reminded her the only reason they had my car to rectify their shoddy workmanship. I’m not sure why they would need more than 7.5 hours to fix the issue they created with substandard service. Picked up my car and was offered no information as to what work was undertaken, I did have a nice shiny windscreen, however I can still smell bug off inside the car, so suspect they did nothing. I’ll never know as the I’m unwilling to deal with the ill mannered customer service person again… will email head office and take this matter further…. Like I’ve got nothing better to do with my time
This is only the second windscreen I have had to replace, both under insurance and both with these people, last time the windscreen leaked as well, and they refused to undertake repairs then either.

Wellington region Novus are the worst.
Incompetent, careless, liars. Gave the serial number of the windscreen needed and they obviously took no notice, four windscreens later I get the car back with a broken engine component.

I have too say I had novus timaru come…

I have too say I had novus timaru come to my home to replace my windscreen after local truck company spat rocks of there deck on the motorway all over my car. They were great guys matt and Hayden very professional really great at there job. They were careful taking out the old screen and prep for the install of the new windscreen. I would highly recommend novus timaru they are very knowledgeable in there work and I cannot fault anything. Keep up the great work guys matt/hayden you made the experience as painless as possible for me so much appreciated.

Got my car back from Novis Whanganui…

Got my car back from Novis Whanganui after having the windscreen replaced.The paint work around the outside of the screen is all scratched.I had to touch up with the little paint bottle that came with the car. Absolutely no care taken,rough as workmanship. What's it like behind the screen all scratched and rusting. After months or years and the screen needs to be replaced again and you are up for a expensive rust repair because bad workmanship and who pays the owner does.

Invercargill branch was terrible.
Partner took her 97 terrano there.
They did finally fix the window but never put the rubber/ trim or wiper blades on.
The partner had to ring to come pick up as he never got back to her. He told her is parked dwn the street with the windows dwn and keys in it as he said we don't store junk here. So lucky it wasn't raining/ stolen or ticketed,didn't even give her the parts back, which I had to go in my half hr lunch break to get. He didn't get a warm reception on his arrogant service. Never use again.

Dropped my car off for windscreen…

Dropped my car off for windscreen replacement. They ended up damming windshield trim clips. I was told they were damaged by previous repairer and was glued to keep it in place. But I can see clearly the clap has been damaged recently. Then I asked the service manager if he can glue it back, I was told that glue cannot hold this kind of trim.
My question is, how did the glue held the trim for 5 years??? I ended up calling the head office (Novus) but didn't get any help. We always use Smith and Smith glass and never had any issue.
I wouldn't recommend this place. My car still have fault and I'm still dealing with insurance company yo sort out the issue.

Absolutely appalling service at Hawera…

Absolutely appalling service at Hawera centre. Ordered windscreen over a week ago, Monday. No timeframe given. Called on the Friday to follow up was told they would chase up the delivery. Found out Tuesday the following week, that They had issues with insurance and didn’t ring me the client to discuss and didn’t order windscreen. Now late for my deadline! Luckily Novus in New Plymouth are now sorting it out

Substandard work

A friend purchased a vehicle that 2 weeks previously had had a new windscreen fitted by Novus. When driving home (5 hour drive) after purchase the exterior windscreen trim was falling off and had to be removed. All the original retaining clips had been broken off. The windscreen then started leaking at the top. Took it to and independent windscreen installer who videoed the windscreen , faults and the fact that the interior trim had been broken as well. Contacted Novus and was told as he didn't have the replacement done there was no warranty and they would not repair their substandard work. Best advice is don't go anywhere near Novus. Independent company removed and repaired the rubbish job done by Novus for a discounted price.

Novus New Plymouth is incompetent

Novus New Plymouth is incompetent, they never return calls or emails. When contact was established through head office, they asked for the vehicle to be taken out to them to identify what screen was needed for the replacement, at a specified time. After a 25 minute one way trip. I am very rudely informed by some woman that "Its not getting done" as there was "no one there to do it". No apology, no attempt to make another time. I will never be going back. This was the worst service I have ever had from anyone ever...
