The NRLA are an amazing organisation to support people in this field. Every time I receive advice be that by phone or using the resources on line , I am reminded how pleased I am to be a member. Today Maria was particularly helpful and went that extra mile to help me. Thank you Maria!! Highly recommend this organisation.

NRLA recommend Taxd for any accountancy advice but this company is impossible to contact and speak with. When I emailed taxd.co.uk I received an auto response saying the nrla group may not exist. When I go to Taxd's website you have to register and provide a lot of tax information. I quit at this point. I was hoping to use NRLA's Portfolio software along with Taxd services but I'm not prepared to sign up to a service without first confirming they can accommodate my particular circumstances. What is wrong with this world where you can't just talk to someone?

Total waste of £125. I approached NRLA after paying my subscription with a serious issue. They were not able to offer anything in the way of advice or support and now refuse to refund my payment. Total rip off.

NRLA offers lots of vital support in these challenging times. Their helplines give excellent and critical immediate support and breaks that isolation when facing difficulties. Having this access to people who are very experienced and is very reasuring in these demanding times

I had a telephone conversation with Adrian Woolger today and I was very impressed with the level of professionalism, clarity, and support he provided. He explained everything in a clear and helpful way, took the time to answer my questions, and made the whole process very straightforward.

Adrian was polite, knowledgeable, and genuinely supportive throughout. I really appreciate his guidance and the way he followed up promptly with all the information I needed.

I have been a member for many years and been mostly happy. In the past year, they have started producing "advice" articles which are (poorly) disguised advertisements for their own products.

At the very minimum, the NRLA should be clear that an article is not impartial professional advice but an advertisement.

Website says: "A truly member-first organisation..."
It is highly misleading and dishonest of the NRLA to claim to serve the interests of landlords when it prioritises pitching products where the NRLA makes money.

For instance, they are constantly plugging their "Portfolio" product when there are many other solutions available that are ignored.

We’ve been members of the NRLA for 3 years. The NRLA membership has been invaluable to us with navigating complex situations. Their advice and support is excellent.

Staff do not have any knowledge, they look up everything on their website. They have given me incorrect information several times. I call back and ask the same question a few times and get different answers.

No regrets joining. Helpline is just awesome 👍

The NRLA gives invaluable support in legal difficulties, housing law and regulatrion and it has all the forms and leaflets ever-increasing bureacracy demands of landlords today. The advice line has instantly available expertise and knowledge and is an excellent asset to have on your side as landlords face the onslaught of the vindictive new law. And all for a modest subscription.

Fantastic advice line. Quick and easy to use and very informed advisers.

trialled their subscription based portfolio portal, which is not worth signing up to imo, its very slow and frustrating, its not worth using. My main gripe for review is, even after cancelling the subscription in the trail period I was charged. When i queried this with NRLA they said i should cancel my subscription and i cant be refunded, so it was a bit of an arrogant response, their cancellation process is not fit for purpose and failed. I am trying again, i hope i dont get charged again.
