Terrible experience
Terrible experience, I asked not to renew and the company tried to renew and took several hunded pounds from my account which has not yet been refunded after I complained.
((And why is it that, shortly after I posted this review, you were able to post the detailed response below...yet you did not process my refund which might have actually helped? Looks like you are more concerned with defending the indefensible than providing actual customer service.))

We can see your policy was originally opted in to auto renewal, which would of happened at the time of purchase. At Oasis, we cannot change a customer's preference and this is something completed as part of the purchase journey, while there would of also been a series of invites sent to you in the build up to renewing your policy with the opportunity to opt out.
Looking in to your policy, it renewed on the 9th October 26, and I can see the refund was processed in full by our team on the same day, of which we're confident this was processed as efficiently as possible by the team.

AVOID - 6 WEEKS, TOTALLY IGNORED
6 weeks, empty promises, no progress
I made a claim nine weeks ago and still haven't had a single meaningful reply. Every time I chase, I get the same line: the delay is "not acceptable" and my claim will be fast-tracked. It never is. Then I chase again and hear exactly the same thing.
Being told you'll be prioritised and then left waiting is worse than no promise at all. You buy travel insurance for peace of mind when something goes wrong. Instead, I've had weeks of stress, chasing and broken assurances.
Extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I wouldn't rely on this insurer when it actually matters.

Naturally post Summer there is always an influx in claims, meaning teams are currently stretched. Whilst this is certainly not an excuse, it provides some context on why there has been delays. That said, this review has been noted as a formal claims complaint meaning the delay in resolving your claim will be managed and escalated accordingly, with a member of our team providing a further response directly.
However, and regardless of the above, I am pleased to advise your claim has now been settled and payment has been made, due to land in your account within the next 3-5 days.
