Placed an online order for photos and other products
Placed an online order for photos, mug and keychain. Each time I was told my order was ready to be picked up, it was only for one product at a time. I was told this is because each product comes from a different supplier, however, I drove over 40 mins each time! I also tried contacting the store prior to picking up each order, but no customer service picked up at Loganholme branch.
Track and trace through Star Track was good (when I was finally given the tracking info from the customer support call centre- despite store staff telling me they couldn’t provide this info ) I was told see when orders had arrived. However, when orders arrived at Loganholme QLD facility, I was told they weren’t ready for pickup. Staff also said they didn’t know how to give updates on products and were unable to track products!
Frustrating service. Will not be doing customisable products through them again. Save yourself the headaches.
Can't call ahead for real-time product availability
What is the point of listing a phone number for individual stores in Sydney if there's no actual way to speak to a person in the respective store?

I wasn't actually sure if this was a scam company or if they're just trying to steal money from me? I thought I'd bought a Samsung tablet for a child's Christmas present from them. It was advertised for sale and I bought it online in the usual way. I then get an email from them unilaterally cancelling the order from their end. They've also kept the money which I thought was strange behaviour from a legit company. 'Customer service' is an AI that promises a human operator will get back to me (weeks ago)...

I ordered a TV on line during Black Friday sales. The TV was not delivered on the assigned day. Phone calls and requests to let me know the new delivery date were ignored. I got no real assistance from either Officeworks or the Transport Company who each blamed the other. I ended up cancelling the order as it just got too stressful. Also had to follow up numerous times to get the refund raised. Terrible experience that will stop me or my friends and family from ever using this company again.

Wandering in with no skill at all on how to run the machine, I threw myself on the mercy of young Joseph who knows more than I'd ever seen. He tweaked the images on the screen and formed them up so well. Shortly I had my set of Christmas cards with funny stories to tell. Here's to you young Joe with admiration for a job well done. You should go far in your chosen career when you can make work into fun.

My order is missing and no one can help. Shop girls referred me to 1300 number (which is impossibly hard to find!) and customer service also don't know where it is.
On hold for 25 mins to get no resolve. Surely they should be calling and chasing up, not me? It's their network that is the problem.
Never again...
Over and over again, I've been let down by Officeworks. I ordered a simple A-Frame sign that has been lost somewhere in the process. Despite numerous calls, nobody can give me a firm delivery date, and it is now two weeks overdue. They may seem cheap, but if you are running a business, this ends up costing you.
Price Match and online shop is a disgrace
Price Match is not as advertised. Officeworks $199 - another company $130 - Price Match should be $123.50 and was told this on the phone with Customer Service person. Credit Card charged $149.65 and no order confirmation number provided via email or in my account on the webpage.
Recontacted the 1300 number to find out what/why/how - to be told they will cancel the order and reimburse my money. Still no email confirmation or reimbursement. What kind of company has Officeworks become? unable to speak to a person in Australia, phone numbers for individual stores ring and an automated message tells you to go to the webpage - no one can talk to you from a store?

Manager laughed when I said he had ruined a 60th birthday gift ordered Thursday now Monday 2pm - cannitbtrack to see when it will arrive meanwhile I drive 30 mins for school pickup then they say I need to go back to collect when it arrives!!! Made an online purchase product arrived damaged. I informed of this and was offered a refund but no refund on the delivery fee delivery cost varies 20-30$ per item. Basically if I wanted the item I need to create a new order and pay another 20-30$ for delivery. I think it is terrible to ask to pay considering the item arrived damaged upon delivery. Buyers beware.
Poor advice and Poor follow up service
I was advised by a staff member at office works on what toner to buy for my printer. I took the model number of the printer in and showed them and also showed them an identical printer on their displays.
The toner was a standby for my daughter doing law exams at uni.
When she went to replace the toner it wouldn’t fit. I was advised to get the wrong toner by the staff member at Kotara office works.
I took it back and they refused to replace it as they said it was my fault and also I had opened it. Well you do need to open it to use it. They also said it was longer than 30 days that I had it and as I explained it was a back up printer.
It is their fault that my daughter went into a fifth year law exam with not all of her notes due to the incorrect toner they sold to me.
I rang the manager of Office works Kotara and I believe his name is Sanjit or something similar and he promised me he would discuss it with a higher manager and get back to me. He is a liar as he has never phoned me back in over a week.
Any kind of customer service you have to deal with with officeworks are not helpful at all.
Considering Office works made over 200 million dollars profit in the last year they can’t even afford to write off a $100 toner which was their mistake selling it to me.
I bought a new toner online at Ink Station. It was postage free , cheaper than office works and easy to choose the toner cassette as they have them listed when you enter the model number of your printer.

I made a purchase on the online store where it stated same day delivery. On purchase it was changed to 7 days. I called the call centre who refused to intercept the order. I have now paid for goods I am unable to use. Officeworks denies that their website was inaccurate and would not even investigate or try to intercept the order.

Ordered an $850 laptop 3 weeks ago with the option for delivery the following day. To this day, I still have no laptop and no money... After calling Officeworks every single day since the laptop was not received, they have given me no information as to what was happening or where the laptop is. Eventually I asked for a refund as I needed the laptop for new staff starting and had to go elsewhere to order it. I was even willing to reorder the laptop and pick it up from a physical store, but of course I couldn't re-order it at the same price - in that timeframe the price of the laptop went up by $150 and they couldn't offer me the same price because their prices change every 2 days I was told. So not only did I not have the laptop OR my money, but I couldn't even repurchase the same laptop. I was told last over a week ago that the refund had been processed and still nothing in my account. I called again only to be told that the refund had not been processed. Sorry Officeworks but your service has been absolutely terrible. No support from the staff and non-existent Management. Something has got to change. I wish I didn't have to sit here and write this review, but it saddens me to see such bad service and they are getting away with it. I hope someone sees this from Management and decides to make some changes.

We needed help to print some photographs from the phone and Jackson came along and was brilliant, very patient and managed to get the prints we needed.

Officeworks Epping VIC could do with some extra training in their photocopy section.
I asked the female at the counter to "mirror image" a copy for me. Then I was told "the copy machines (both assisted and self serve) don't do that anymore".
So I went to the self serve copier, and God shone down on me and miracle happened... I got a mirror image copy.
I don't know how people get a job there.
Dishonest or just Totaly Incompetant ?
I preordered online a new Ipad Pro M5 last saturday, the website took my money then sent me an email telling me they had cancelled the order and refunded the money and that I should call support if I thought it was cancelled in error. I had too wait until Monday to call support and when I did they told me (which I later found out was a lie) that they had no idea why the order was cancelled. They suggested I should just reorder, but I cant because they still have not refunded the original order. They promised to sort it out and get back to me but of course they didn't. So I am still waiting, cant order from someone else because they havent refunded my money and havent given me any idea when they might get around to it. This is not an islated incident, I had an almost identical experience 3 months ago but I thought maybe they might have got their act together by now.
Trade In & Phone Purchase
I made the unfortunate decision to trade in and buy a new iphone through Officeworks. I'll never do this again. When I made the decision to get a new phone, I wanted to get an iPhone 16 Pro but due to their horrible service I'm now getting an iPhone 17. Please note, I am greatful to be able to get a new phone however I should not have had to get a phone I wasn't planning to due to their poor service and uncommunicated delays.
I contacted them to enquire about the process and received the return label on 24 September 2025. On 25 September 2025, I went to the post to send them my phone. They only confirmed on 30 September 2025 that they received the phone. After that, it was radio silence. Not a word form them. So on 02 October 2025, I sent an email asking them when to expect feedback on the trade in assesment and there was no repsonse. the following day (03 October 2025), I decided to call them. After jumping through hoops amd being on hold for what felt like eternities, I finally find out that the assessment was actually complete. The just hadn't sent me my gift cards. They were just sat on my gift cards and not saying a word. So I ask them to send me my gift cards and eventually get them.
Now that I had my giftcards, turns out I can't use them to make an online purchase on the Officeworks website. So on 04 October 2025, I went in store to order my phone. They let me know that the estimated delivery date would be 17 October 2025 and I accepted it. The took my details (phone number and email) and emailed me my receipt. Today (16 October 2025), I decide to open the tracking site because I wanted to get an estimate on what time my phone would be arriving tomorrow (17 October 2025). Turns out, they have moved the estimated delivery date to 30 October 2025 - 06 November 2025.
I want to make it clear that I understand that delays happen and are typically not something that can be controlled. My issue is the lack of communication. I beleive that at whatever moment they (Officeworks) realised they wouldn't make the estimated delivery date, they should've emailed me to let me know. It was wrong for them to remain absolutely silent regatding this.
Another thing, customers should not have to always be the ones initiating conversation. The company should communicate and inform customers of any changes and delays. It is literally the BARE MINIMUM. The service is absolutely atrocious.

ONE of the worst experiences of my LIFE. do not ever make a minor or major purchase this business. After dealing with 5 staff, one of the staff realized after many faults with the TV , one with two dead pixels, we were entitled to a replacement.But they refused , said we have to send it off for repair. even the company said they dont repair dead pixels. they the staff waned us to suffer without a TV, the staff seemed so happy wit glee with this. A service guy named Gus, Told me that any TV under $500 , one must expect the TV remote may not work all the time, that is just how is. and we can if we play around , It will work. then we can watch a movie. we dont watch movies thank you. But we had to fight for our rights, on the phone to head office and recorded part on body cam, 55 minutes of hell. . i will Never ever Buy anything from these companies ever ever again. OFFICE WORKS the staff the worst I have ever experienced in my LIFE. even after the replacement, continued to give directives and advice, I promised them we will never purchase from them EVER again. Let down on delivery not arrived
I'm still waiting 2days for a water cooler to be delivered from Welshpool warehouse. I'm FIFO and was promised this would be delivered Monday - Tuesday, it's now Wednesday.. tracking saying preparing your order hence why I called yesterday Tuesday saying it should be "Out for delivery" not preparing. The status still hasn't changed. I would not of gone through Officeworks if I was going to be let down. I've just received my item Fresco Water Cooler, let it sit as it has a fridge army the bottom. Got home after a few hours, plugged it in, read instructions, attempted to fill and empty a cup per hot/cold taps, and zap, puff and leaking everywhere.. it was smoking, has to unplug it, mop up water and remove. I want a full refund I ordered online.
