We booked this venue as it was in walking distance from our hotel. We ended up enjoying several tango shows and meals but this one was by far the best. The servers were very attentive. The performers and the story they shared through dance was fantastic. The woman who sang "don't cry for me Argentina" almost had me in tears as her voice was so beautiful and strong.
El espectaculo de Tango en Café Tortoni superó nuestras expectativas. Tremendo show!! Bailarines con tremenda tecnica y presencia escenica, un espectaculo bien pensado y montado, las voces increibles, excelente seleccion de canciones, y el salon es intimo y perfecto para la ocasion. Sumamente recomendado. Nuestro hijo pequeño mencionó que fue una de sus partes favoritas de todo el viaje. No se lo pierdan!

Good and plenty 3-course dinner before the show and enough time to eat.
All in all: I honestly recommend the show if you search for an individual ( not mass) entertainment with exceptional Tango performers!!
The show was so authentic and passionate. We could feel the importance of Tango in the Argentinian culture. The dancers and the singers were excellent. The venue is also perfect for a Tango show with great food and drink options.

We wanted to experience an authentic Tango Show in Buenos Aires and the show we saw was brilliant. The dancers were amazing with all the sharp moves you expect from the Argentine Tango. Plus they had really good singers and a live band. The whole experience much exceeded our expectations.
El espectáculo fue muy bueno, pues permite apreciar la cultura argentina y latinoamericana. No obstante, al final, nos llevamos una pésima impresión de la atención por parte de los mozos. Nosotros contratamos solo el show del tango. Sin embargo, en el local nos animamos por consumir alimentos. El problema es que en medio del espectáculo, el mozo se acercó a cobrarnos, nos indicó que la propina era voluntaria y al libre criterio y se dejaba en un plato. Dejamos nuestra propina, pero al verla dijo que no era suficiente a pesar de que era más del diez por ciento, y nos devolvió el plato para que agreguemos más dinero. Luego regresó y dijo que se había olvidado de incluir conceptos de "mozo", "cubierto", y "mesa" y, como si estuviera haciéndonos un favor, nos dijo que la propina ya la dejáramos como está pero que paguemos esos conceptos "adicionales". Independientemente de que no se brinda información de los conceptos a cobrar (en la carta solo se indica que la propina no está incluida), fue una pésima experiencia que el mozo hiciera todo ese show de devolvernos la propina como si estuviéramos actuando mal y cuando el espectáculo no había terminado todavía, siendo que la propina debe siempre entenderse de libre criterio y voluntad. Espero que nuevas personas no se vean embaucadas con ese tipo de mozos. Al final, presentamos nuestra queja y, aunque nos dieron vinos para compensar, el sinsabor de la mala experiencia queda.
