Wayne and Andy have plenty of knowledge as they both have running businesses in the game which I think keeps them very much at the forefront of changes in the industry

I signed up to Off The Tools Alliance a few months ago after watching Wayne and Andy’s content online for a while. I didn’t really have anyone around me that I could turn to for genuine business advice, so joining the Alliance has been one of the best decisions I’ve made.

I joined Off The Tools because I realised that just because you’re a good tradesman, it doesn’t automatically make you a good businessman.

Like many trade business owners, I spent years focusing on doing a good job for customers, but running and growing a successful business requires a completely different set of skills.

Since becoming part of the Alliance, the coaching, accountability and support have helped me look at my business differently. I’ve learned the importance of systems, processes, marketing, customer experience and financial planning rather than simply keeping busy on the tools.

Over the past year we’ve continued to grow Innovative Heating Services, invested heavily in improving our systems and customer journey, expanded our showroom offering and successfully completed the takeover of another established heating business in Pembrokeshire.

We’ve streamlined our quoting and office processes, improved communication with customers, introduced new technology and become much more focused on building a business that can grow without relying solely on me being on the tools every day.

Been working with Andy and Wayne at Off The Tools for just over 6 months now and it’s honestly made a massive difference to my business already.
