Ofgem needs investigation as they are not protecting the consumer but protecting profiteering companys

We will be in fuel poverty this winter thanks to you...and I’m three weeks off having a baby, in an old farm house that we don’t own and can’t get landlord to help at a time when our industry, farming, is not yielding any profits either for us! We may as well give up!

Allowing energy companies to make billions in record profits and still choose to increase the energy cap by 80% to bring it to a total of around 215% rise within a year when 25% of people won't be able to afford their bills during the winter. This greed needs to end and people should be put before mega rich companies profits. Shame on you

Now that the government have finally stepped in to attempt to make some sense out of recent energy policy and prices, Ofgem and its entire board especially its CEO should immediately resign if for no other reason than the sheer misery, distress worry and upset they have needlessly caused to millions of individuals and families around the nation. They are and have been a disgrace. Stand not upon the order of your going, but go at once

They are not on the side of consumers. Raising the price cap to what they know are unmanageable levels for householders and businesses is not regulation, I would call it profiteering! They also want to" review", which really means raise the cap four times a year. Which of us receives a pay rise four times a year, probably Ofgem members. They need to be brought to account and dismissed immediately for putting profit before people.

This organisation is pointless, big energy firms such as Shell, BP etc..call the shots.

Same as all the other ‘regulatory’ body, ABTA, etc, only interested it protecting those that pay them, in this case the energy providers. Seen it all before, remember ABTA and the holiday refund fiasco because all of a sudden things weren’t going their members way?
Ofgem decide to review prices every three months now rather than every 6 months to protect their members, nothing at all to do with the public interest.

Failing to do its job as a National Regulatory Authority. An extremely corrupt organisation that places profits for business over the lives of people. Raising bills by 300% is simply not sustainable for a quarter of the population.

This company is sickeningly corrupt, prioritising the interests of businesses, enabling them to profiteer from the masses by creating fuel poverty.

Ofgem have raised bills by 300%. How is this good service? when all you are thinking about are your profits!!!

Ofgem states on their website that their role and responsibility is to protect the energy consumer, especially the vulnerable people, by ensuring they are treated fairly. What utter rhetoric. It is unforgivable to sanction such a price hike forcing millions into fuel poverty. Meanwhile energy companies announce records profits. This cannot be allowed to continue. Please, if you feel strongly about this issue, I urge you to get onboard with the Don't Pay movement. Be proactive and spread the word.

What is the point of having a regulator body, that is surpose to be there to safeguard the uk energy market and consumers, when you havent done either. Why is the gas and oil price in england so high when we have our own gas and oil fields in the North sea, that we could extract from, this suppply currently supports half of Englands demand, so why doesnt it support Englands full requirment? Ow thats right like fools the government traded our rights to the fields so now we have to share.
If this regulator doesnt take action to dematically reduce uk energy cost imediatley it should be despanded and every jobsworth removed and be brought up on charges of professional misconduct aswell as wasteing of public money.
the money we currently waste on ofgem should be put to better use.

Utter disgrace. Greedy, money grabbers. No care for the average person. No consideration for the working people, for children or pensioners that'll have to choose between heat and food.

They are theifs openly let the public be robbed why they take bonuses from energy suppliers

This price hike is a crime. I don't know how they can sleep at night. Shame on all energy suppliers who make us bankrupt while they make HUGE profits. Our poor elderly parents will die in the cold winter because they are scared to turn the heating on !!!

Terrible job of regulating energy price cap in the UK. Not fit for purpose and sheer incompetence.

At a time when energy companies are announcing record breaking profits, forcing the extortionate price increases on the public is outrageous. You’re pushing millions of people into fuel poverty. Sleep well in your warm homes knowing you're a toothless tiger fed by the industry you regulate. Shame on you.

Absolutely disgusting that OFGEM have changed the rules to suit them - now they can implement their extortionate Price Cap every 3 months instead of 6. If you are a business you will get ripped off even more as price cap does not apply. My business energy from £80 to £360 a month.
