A Dream Come True- We Didn’t Want To Leave!
On our departure, I was already planning to reach out to the owners of this property but they beat me to it — which tells you everything about the level of care here. We just concluded our stay that at Agricola Neci- it was a long-planned dream come true, and honestly we pinched ourselves every single day that we were lucky enough to be in this patch of paradise.
The accommodation is simply stunning. Every room is perfectly appointed, with comfortable sitting areas, kitchenettes, beautifully finished bathrooms, and views to die for. The common room is a real highlight — a large kitchen and dining room with a fireplace, opening onto an outdoor area where we could sit under an umbrella and look out over the olive trees to the gorgeous Tuscan vista beyond. It became the heart of our stay.
The pool is breathtaking — a stunning 90-metre pool with postcard views over the olive trees, with that perfect Tuscan vibe of rolling hills and medieval villages in the distance. We could have happily spent every day there.
The lake is serene and magical. We loved watching the fish jump, and kayaking and swimming on the lake were highlights of our days. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and breathe.
Bike riding along the gravel paths was a wonderful way to explore the area and take in the surroundings at a leisurely pace.
The golf buggies were a brilliant touch. The property is large, and being entrusted with the buggies meant we could explore freely — down to the lake, and up to the top of a scenic hill with 360-degree views over the Tuscan hillside. That view alone is worth the trip.
And then there are Max and Obie, the two gorgeous dogs, who helped make the entire experience feel warm and personal rather than just another rental. They became part of our daily routine.
A huge thank you to the wonderful team — Margherita, Gregoria, and Manuel. They were incredibly attentive and across every detail. They kept the property spotless, were so helpful with anything we needed, and consistently went above and beyond. As someone who manages a team myself, I would be so proud to have them as my own staff.
And the olive oil — exceptional quality. We’ll be enjoying it back in Australia with such fond memories of our stay.
