Excellent from start to finish. Tour Manager Mandy was very good and kept us informed. Coaches in excellent condition with good drivers. Hotel choices good but some of tje food could have been better.

As a first time One Traveller I was…nervous
As a first time One Traveller I was nervous about the whole trip. Once I got to the airport and met the tour guide Richard Lord, he made me feel welcome and relaxed. Throughout the whole holiday he was very knowledgeable and helpful. The whole group that was on the trip were friendly and helped made the trip enjoyable.

Puglia, senior and solo, no problem.
Tour manager Jonathan had in depth knowledge of Italy and a great way of imparting it to the group. Our ages and needs were considered throughout and adjustments to things such as "meet up" points made as required. The Ostuni Palace hotel was ten minutes easy walk from the town plaza with stunning views and helpful staff. Highlights, Matera, it ticks all the boxes, very up and down, but worth it and Masseria Il Frantoio our farewell dinner with the most charming host.

Andrea Bocelli Tuscany (different opinion)
I have just read a review of the Andrea Boceilli in Tuscany holiday I have just completed and I was ashamed to read it. I think most of the group would be appalled to be classed as vulnerable and disabled (whom one traveller I have to say are not responsible for). The holiday was good, it was clearly classed in the description as moderately active and it was noted there would be walking on most days. If you are unable to do that please stay at home or choose a different holiday to avoid spoiling it for others with your constant complaining. The tour manager Richard Lord was fine and in his defense he did have a lot to contend with, people wandering off from the group and/or complaining about different aspects of the holiday. I found the week very enjoyable, and apart from the chosen few (which you always get), it was a great group and we have passed messages in the hope to meet again. This is my second holiday with One Traveller and it didn't disappoint.

Alone but not lonely
On my own I felt totally looked after. The hostesses here and in Croatia were very kind and efficient. The ship was excellent but disappointed that apart from tea and coffee at breakfast and a glass of wine at dinner we had to pay for any others.

Amazing Switzerland
Simon was an amazing guide, one of the best ever in all my years of travelling. Switzerland, in the mountains, is one if my favourite places. The itinerary was excellent and took me to many favourite places now I am unable to walk as well as I did. The weather was also unbelievably good for all the holiday. Every day was a stunning day for all the wonderful views in the alps. Our driver was also fantastic. Hotel good too.

Excellent holiday
Without doubt, David Crawford made this holiday brilliant with his care, humour and Knowledge. His notes that kept us informed for every mile of the trip demonstrated the exceptional professionalism and attention to detail he brought to the role of host.
What I didn’t like was being given a number. I understand for the transportation of the luggage a single number works. But to have your table placing at dinner identified as a number, for me was unacceptable, depersonalising. A simple place name would have been more acceptable.
The holiday exceed al my expectations. The only thing you had no control over was the weather, it rained heavily nearly every day, shame.

The service given was very efficient and I was kept well informed about my trip. I received some very useful information sheets that covered everything I needed to know. Had two holidays, Prague and Sicily.
On both, from booking to airport meeting the tour manager's was smooth and organised.
Looked after throughout the holidays with tours and beautiful meals.
Accommodation was definitely 4/5stars.
Everything as advertised.
Met lovely people and the table seating is a really good idea.
So much so I'm booked for Thailand.
Would not use another company again.
