Attended a lock and key dating event, it was fun - very civilised and interesting people and many people to talk to! Definitely beats dating apps.
However, an improvement would be a bit smaller age-range - 20 years is quite big! Maybe 15 years instead? Or if it has to be 20 years, maybe put on a 30-50 event as well? Also, perhaps something that filters for professional status? I'm PhD level educated, so a 'professionals dating' event would be awesome for me!
But other than that, it was a fun evening out.. :) thank you.

Chilled Speed dating event with an amazing host.

The normal speed dating is a good experience to meet people but I have suggested to give a little more time to get to know someone but that’s why they call it speed dating.

The host was drunk / mad or both. Badly organised, he had no idea what was going on by the end. He asked if everyone had met everyone...he should know that, by which time people were leaving. No name tags or score cards. Only 8 females turned up (13 guys), I met one, and then there was an interval. After I met 3 more, 2 girls had left, and the host declared it was over.
I travelled all the way into London from Surrey and met 4 girls!
Absolute shocker!!
Contacted customer support - NO REPLY!
Terrible.

I agree my first response should be to contact you for resolution, and that's what happened. Not some time later, the very next day. As I said no reply at all.

So my question is what are you going to do about this shambles affair I attended, because you have still not said here what you will do? Nothing? Tough luck it was a shambles??

This was for an online event a few months ago. There was good attendance and the host was friendly, welcoming, interactive and keep the energy going.

Really enjoyed the two events I’ve been two (speed dating and the Summer Boat Party). Well organised and good fun. Only negative comment is that at both events the number of potential matches was less then advertised but I guess there is not much Original Dating can do about people dropping out.

Great event- met some lovely people, and it was very well organised and lots of fun. The host, Joshua was very professional and jovial. My only reservation about this company is that they do so few events for the over 40s and don’t offer the party options to over 40’s which is the nicest way to meet potential dates.

Great way to meet eligible singles.. good host, good vibes, good times.. It’s how dating should be!

Paid £20 for an event + £10 to talk to people on the dating website.. safe to say that was money wasted. I would not recommend this to anyone. Save yourself the bother.
As a response to the reply to this review, I replied to your rude emails sent to me. I even explained you could add my response to this review.
Avoid at all costs! Very immature and quite frankly embarrassing.

Original Dating delivers a great experience, always with a friendly and helpful host. Their speed dating evenings are a great way to meet new people, make friends and hopefully find the love of your life, either way you'll have a fun evening.

I have always found Original Dating's events (both 'virtual' and in real life) to be well organised and fun evenings where I have had the chance to meet a good mix of different people. I would certainly recommend attending one of their events to people who are interested.

The Original Dating is a brilliant idea and usually I have met some really nice ladies. I have kept in contact with a few and I tend to have great evening.

The host (usually) Arthur puts everyone at ease!

Looking forward to the Original Dating being able to offer the speed dating evenings at Perini, Perini again soon!

Amazing way to meet new people. Both virtual and in real life, with a good system for matches and friendly hosts. Would recommend, especially if in London and overwhelmed by the amount of people and struggle to actually connect with any of them.

I’ve subscribed to this service almost 10 months ago (if I well reckon). The websites is tricky and you could easily accidentally purchase a second ticket. I’ve erroneously purchased an extra ticket in 2 occasions. I’ve immediately contacted the customer service in both the situations. The first time I manage to reach them through phone call after chasing them for 4/5 days and an agent (who admittedly was really nice) apologised saying that she couldn’t reimburse the accidental purchase but that she could have issue a ticket to use in future events. I understood the situation and accepted. The second time I’ve tried to call again but the service (even if advertised) was unavailable. I sent an email the same day and other 3 in the next week. Never got an answerback. But instead, I got loads of messages asking to complete the info for the the second ticket purchased by accident. I’m not complaining because of the accidental purchase (are just 10 quid) but the customer service is awful. I decided then to close the account and surprisingly I received the confirmation of the cancellation few seconds after requesting it. I honestly can't judge the event itself, I tried to participate in it 4 times, 3 of those events were cancelled due to the lack of participants and the 4th time I didn’t want to participate due to the frustration of chasing customer service. Other people might find this service useful, I’m happy for them, however, I found it frustrating and not professional at all. You can keep my 20 quid, after all was my fault. But you’ve lost my respect and I’ll discourage everyone to use you.

I had so much fun , a good mix of people and so nice to chat face to face online .

Arthur the host was amazing and easy on the eye too 😉 lol
