Manipulative ad full of partial truths. Red flags everywhere!
I want to be clear: I have not used Osteoshield. I have osteopenia, and I was curious about this product, so I listened to the 20+ minutes of the video ad. As a psychologist, I can tell you this: I have rarely seen a more manipulative ad, a hard sell disguised as an authoritative (top doctor, serious researcher), yet kind-hearted and folksy, inventor, who is determined to share (sell you) The Truth The Others Won’t. There are many accurate, though partial, scientific claims about bones loss and rebuilding here, AND there’s a lot of important information left out. There’s also relentless emotional manipulation, designed - along with the very slow build-up to the sales pitch - to make you set aside your doubts and buy it. All are red flags. Don’t trust it. I don’t.
