Do not go with Branch
Do not go with Branch. I’m almost 50 and I’ve never seen anything like it. I had to remove them as my home and vehicle insurance company. I never imagined a claim could go so wrong, insurance service could be SO bad!
They are trying a new insurance model- subcontracting out the work- the claim, the loss- all subcontracted out. To say that this company was impossible and hostile, is an understatement.
And in the middle of it all, they had a bad business process that CANCELED my insurance policy by mistake! It’s been a nightmare!
As soon as I changed companies, I feel like I could breathe again. And I saved almost $150/ month with better coverage by changing! Good riddance!

We immediately passed this along to a claims manager who has informed us that you have now been provided your date and cause statement and are being provided with any additional info needed for your GAP claim as the info becomes available. While the claims process can often take time to ensure accuracy, we want you to know your claims rep is actively working to reach a resolution and has been in touch with you to provide an update on your claim status. If you have any other questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact your claims rep directly.
Find another insurance company
Got into Branch through an independent agent.....I wish I'd never heard of them. For the first year, reasonable premiums and no claims. Renewal premium increase was astronomical. In the 2nd year there was a hail storm. My claim for roof damage was declined, despite the fact that reputable insurance companies replaced a number of roofs in our neighborhood.....including that of my next door neighbor. My advice? RUN from this company. I did.
My response to Branch's answer: I had gotten that answer before. However, the adjuster who originally looked at my roof was not employed by Branch. He was with a company that hires out to do such ratings. It is my feeling that such companies are very much anti- policy holder, since the more claims they recommend to get turned down, the more in demand their services will be. I also know that when my roofer requested for one of Branch's adjusters to meet him at my house so they could look at it together, they refused. So an appeal to them was useless, and they decided to stand on their decision even though no one from Branch ever looked at my roof. Well, I stand on what I said earlier: Run from this company. I did.
