We recently had an air-source heat pump installation by the team at OxonEnergy and they were great throughout from the initial surveys, through installation and follow-up to our questions after completion.

A good experience from start to finish. No question was seen to be a silly question. The team worked with us to design a solution suitable for our needs and space. Installation was managed smoothly, and on schedule. Some minor damage during installation was repaired without any fuss. No reservation in recommending.

The Oxon team did a great job.
Before being selected they reviewed our requirements for ASHPs in detail and took the time to spec the capacity of the system properly. They did a proper heat loss survey to calculate the capacity requirement for the house (really essential - some companies overestimated the capacity by not doing this) and also took the time to speak to the company that runs the equipment for our swimming pool to understand the capacity that was needed to heat the swimming pool. They also advised on the equipment that was best suited given the heat loss survey outcome (while some companies didn't get that detail right and got the spec wrong, even with the benefit of the survey).
When it came to the implementation they planned things properly and had people who knew the job and also communicated with us about what was going on.
Once the equipment was installed they also took the time to explain everything properly and set up the apps for the controls.
Joe, the owner, also came to do a review at the end to ensure he was fully happy with the work.
The ASHPs (3) have been running fine now for a few months.

Air Source Heat Pump to replace gas was done efficiently and effectively. Always on hand to answer questions. Slight challenge in getting the newer internet controller, but OEM supplier issue rather than Oxon.

A professional and efficient service from start to finish. The project was managed and overseen by Tania and Joe and the team onsite were polite and professional - in particular Tyler which gave me confidence that the installation was going to be completed correctly and on time. All in all a great experience and I would be delighted to recommend Oxon Energy.

They explained the process clearly. The workmen were friendly, considerate and hard working. When a problem arose they were round within a few hours to fix it. I have no complaints at all.

Showed up when they said they would. Were clean, polite and efficient. All questions we had were answered and nothing was too much trouble.

They went to a lot of trouble to make sure that the system was sized correctly for our house and the quality of workmanship was excellent. They were also very easy to have around.

Joe, Tom & co installed a new ASHP and HW cylinder (as well as swapped a few radiators) to replace an ancient gas boiler at our place. They were always here when they said they'd be here, and always left the place looking like they'd never even been here. We weren't without heat or hot water in a cold January for more than an hour or two at any point during the install. They finished the job on time and to the figure we were quoted. The house has been consistently warm and comfortable since the switch-over and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them - the epitome of knowledge, consideration for customers, and expertise.

A really good experience. Excellent friendly professional communication from Joe from start to finish and accurate quotes and timescales. Work was clean and tidy and great efforts made to avoid disruption. Very friendly, honest and thoughtful guys who worked very hard to complete the installation. The system is working really well and we are delighted.

Oxon Energy installed an Air Source Heat Pump in our bungalow in November 2021, which has been working well since it was commissioned. Joe, Tom and the team have been really good communicators both before and after the installation. They have done an extremely neat job, and always cleaned up well after themselves, as well as using appropriate protection for carpets, etc. They are always polite.

Honestly, I've never experienced such a rude supplier before in my life. Not only did they refuse to give a polite or informed answer when I requested a certain brand be installed, but then they had the nerve to accuse me of not providing a quote because I apparently hadn't responded to their last email. Their last email stated they would send a quote. This was after a long set of emails delaying providing a quote. At the end of the day, they didn't deliver. It's clear that there is high demand for heat pump installations. However, that doesn't mean that customers need put up with rude suppliers. No doubt they will reply blaming the customer, which is an indication itself on how they consider customers. I highly recommend you look somewhere else.

Great communication from Joe in the lead-up to the job, great and patient advice, going out of his way to accommodate our requests.

When it came to the job itself, the team were professional and friendly, clearly taking pride in their work, the piping in our airing cupboard is a work of art.

Once completed we had a couple of airlocks as the system settled down, these were sorted immediately with no quibbles. Great advice on setting up and tuning the system. Joe also helped with our Renewable Heat Incentive application.

I found Oxon Energy to be a great company to deal with. We had our gas boiler replaced with an air source heat pump, with some additional/replacement radiators.
They were helpful and professional throughout, from the planning to the fit out and then the grant application..
Prompt and Efficient at all times and the quality of the install was very high. Their staff gave us confidence in their service and were polite and pleasant to have around.
I recommend them to anyone who is looking to upgrade / modernise and get greener on their heating system!
