Bank OZK pulled the old “bait and switch”. Had a CD with “auto-renewal” - little did I know (and certainly not told) that auto- renewal meant it would be put in a new 7 month CD at the lowest rate the bank offered. Thought for 7 months it was “auto-renewed” in same instrument - but come to find out - that is their deception. Bank OZK is nothing but deceptive thieves.

The Staff at the location in Grayson, GA (2001 Grayson Highway) is Courteous, Professional, and Bank OZK Product Experts. Each member of the Staff, Odessa, Erling, Kelly, and Tahiya give you FULL ATTENTION and make sure all of your Banking needs are met.
You are "Family", as they make it a point to acknowledge you by Name when you enter the Branch. Just like going home.

Worst bank ever. I really don't know what year it is there but at least 25 years behind. They have a app but can't make payments on it must use . com but even better can't make principle payments. When you speak to representative their answer is we are sorry we hear this every day. So they are aware but choose to take no action.

If I could give them less than one star, I would. They are completely noncompliant, and their customer service has got to be the worst. I would not recommend this bank for any reason; I am trying to pay off a loan and get nothing but the runaround. I really hope they find my check to pay off the loan. I have never once talked to so many incompetent people in my life.

I am on holiday in Europe. Before I left we put up 2 firewalls. One was fraud protection service and the other was adding only 1 country. I would be in so no other country could be used Without being in that country well, go to behold, they emptied my bank account.
And they took it outside of The country I signed to only be able to take out money from this happened 24 days ago and I'm still waiting on my card. The bank has lied to me. They put me on hold for 38 minutes while calling them from Europe.
And so many other things I have at all. Documented, it's going to their upper. Management team soon. So good luck if you're banking with them. I only use them for my social security check every month and they can even get it right.

If you are considering choosing bank OZK I strongly suggest to reconsider.
The bank Managers and Exec bank managers are rude and belittling. I called corporate was put on hold and told a supervisor would call me back.
I had witness another customer have a situation while waiting for a teller. I thought it was just a one off.
I have just experienced a rude interaction and receive no satisfaction.
Do not waste your precious time banking with this bank.

I have been blocked from my online banking by Bank OZK's website security service. I have called them multiple times with them telling me each time that I am doing something wrong. I sent them the screenshot of the message from Cloudflare telling me that they were protecting Bank OZK's website and blocking me from being able to login. Finally, I went in person to our local bank and was treated well and given some suggestions all of which failed. I was told that I would be given a call back in a day. Did not happen. About to leave Bank OZK for more responsive and responsible banking.

Nothing works smoothly here. Long delays for basic banking processes. Frustrating.

I have to agree with many of the posts here and elsewhere. By far the worst over the phone customer service. One of the customer service agents i spoke with, „Stephanie“, who answered the phone „its a great day at BK OZK“, was especially corrosive refusing to connect me to her supervisor. She had to put me on lengthy holds for even minor questions, i suppose to get an answer. She left me furious and i called back 20 mins later and another agent picked up, helpful and courteous, I believe Cammie? and she connected me via email. The agents are neither trained nor empowered to handle customers. That is a sham.

i went to bank ozk at 1230 Creekshire way Winston/Salem NC around 3;38pm on 07/08/2024 for a credit card change and to update my mailing address I got my new card but when I went to get me address change for mailing purposes I told the associate I want my correspondence from the bank to go to my new address before I went to the bank I went to the post office to get a post office box so my mail from the bank will be more secure the post office personnel informed me to give the office address plus the box number for all the mail you want sent to the box I went to the bank to tell the associate "Amanda" this she told me she never heard of a situation where a post office personnel would tell anyone this I said the post office associate told me this again she says she is 99% sure that the information I was giving to her was wrong I felt so insulted of the fact that she thought I would go into the bank where I do business and blatantly lie to her she called me a liar without calling me a liar I think an associate should not assume that a person is wrong and if they do they would keep there opinions to themselves and find out that information away from a customer I hope the corporate offices will better train their employees to keep there personal opinions to themselves

Worst customer service OZK Ellijay GA!
I was scammed out of 10s of thousands of dollars. I withdrew large amounts (trying to save my money) from 2 Ellijay branches in one day!!
I was completely out of my mind under duress from fear.
In this climate of people being scammed, OZK needs to have policies in place, and training to recognize glaring signs. Too much to write, but I will say that within 30 minutes at my new bank, the banker shared several customer service techniques used to try to understand the huge withdrawals.
No respect for OZK... stay away.

Be careful when doing business with OZK. For OnLine Loan Payments, they use third-party service providers. The third parties may or may not have been provided the correct information which can result in penalties that go back to OZK. THIS IS A VERY SLIMY WAY FOR THE BANK TO GENERATE ADDITIONAL FEE INCOME. OZK gets around this by flashing the following message when you attempt to pay your loan from their website:

Do yourself a favor and find another bank - there are plenty to choose from. This one is the worst. They mishandled an online bill payment of mine resulting in over $100 in fees. They said sorry for the inconvenience and not their problem. Outrageous!

Omg this is literally the worst bank ever. Does any one who I can call these people are literally stealing my money. And I don't know who to call to investigate them. I do not have loans with these people I don't owe anything on my accounts I get only disability at the moments yet they froze my account for no reason. I can't pay my bills or buy food to eat. And they try telling me there's no money there. Yet my app shows the funds please 🙏 if anyone knows who I can call they need to be shut down permanently

Bank OZK forced over charged insurance while I was working in good faith getting new insurance. They show NO respect and care for the clients.

Worst bank I have ever dealt with. I have an RV loan with daily interest. I called to ask why my statements alway say zero is due. I was told I didn’t have a payment due until June 2023 as I always pay extra payments to get principal down. I asked if any overpayments could be applied to principal. The way they operate makes no sense and is considered usery in my book. Now they say I owe back interest. Worst bank EVER

I have been with these folks for 21 years and I have a savings acct and a checking acct also. Today they locked both my accounts because I deposited a check for my daughterinlaw that was part of a lawsuit for sexual harassment. The check was no good and now the bank is punishing me for it. I DID NOT take the money out of the bank therefore it was still in my acct for them to take back. Now I can't pay my bills or buy food for my family. These folks are very RUDE and could care less about me. If you are looking for a bank to do business with, think about what this bank will do if they want. I have NEVER had a check to bounce or anything like that. I'm a 67 year young disabled veteran but that doesn't matter to them. I am looking for a good bank. Not bank ozk.🐣. Today I was completely cleared of any wrongdoing and now these folks that Run the east ellijay branch of bank OZK are so sweet talking and nice to me, but that won't work. I was guilty untill proven innocent. I believe in the old testament bible- AN eye for an eye. The courts will see to that. Beware of these wolves in sheep's clothing at this bank OZK🐣
