We recently moved from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast and genuinely could not have asked for a better experience with Thiago and his team. From the moment they arrived (right on time!) to the final item being placed in our new home, they were nothing short of exceptional.

This was no small job - relocating us out of a busy high-rise apartment complex, making a stop to clear out a storage unit, and then settling everything into our new two-bedroom unit - and they handled it with incredible efficiency, care, and professionalism from start to finish. Every piece of furniture was treated with respect and attention, and it was clear they take real pride in their work.

What truly set them apart, though, was their attitude. Thiago and his team were not only highly skilled and organised, but also genuinely friendly, kind, and personable. Moving is exhausting and stressful at the best of times, yet they made the entire day feel smooth, calm, and completely manageable.

We honestly couldn’t have done this move without them. 10/10 service, and if we ever move again, Thiago and his team will be the very first people we call.

Ozwide movers were terrible. They sent the wrong size truck and admitted to their mistake, but then it took 5 hours for another truck to come, which completely went over our settlement time. We had to book a third truck for the next day ( because their system for sizing trucks is non existent) what should have been a one hit easy move was awful. We have ended up paying thousands of dollars more than their quotation. The sub contract guys who moved us were nice. ( Ozwide only subcontract out). All in all a dreadful experience. Never use this company!!!!

Thiago team the service was excellent and they did above and beyond

The guys were very nice but the move took 12 hours which was much longer than was communicated to me over the phone (2.5 bedroom house to a 2-bedroom apartment).
Before the move, the lady on the phone said it would take around 2.5 hours plus a 30 min callout fee. It ended up taking 4 times as long.
When I called a week after the move to understand what had gone wrong, they mentioned my property had a set of stairs which slowed down the process. I get that this slows it down, but don't think this is a reason for it taking 4 times as long.
I'd suggest being upfront about the time it takes ahead of the move to set realistic time and price expectations.
Also, requesting the client to write a review in front of the removalists and them taking a photo of it is not good practise (hence my edits in hindsight).

Jorge and Fabricio helped us moving house today they are super efficient and helpful. We have many small pieces they moved everything pretty quickly. The guys are very gentle and customer oriented. I would highly recommend their moving services to everyone

The two movers on the ground were excellent – efficient, careful with wrapping, and handled our items well, moving them smoothly between floors. They did a genuinely good job with the physical move itself.

However, my overall experience with Oz Wide Movers has been extremely disappointing due to their management and claims process. Our sofa sustained internal structural damage to a leg during the move, likely from an impact in a narrow outdoor area. Despite my clear explanation and photos, the company refused to accept liability. They conducted an internal "investigation" that dismissed my claim and offered a mere $50 as a "goodwill gesture" for significant damage to a sofa.

This response is insulting and shows a complete lack of accountability. A company's service includes how they handle issues, and Oz Wide Movers failed completely in this regard. I would not trust a provider that avoids responsibility and treats legitimate damage claims so dismissively. While the moving team was great, the management's approach was unfair and unprofessional.

I recommend a 2-star rating. While the moving team did a good job, the company's refusal to take responsibility for damage and their insulting compensation offer makes the overall experience very poor.
