We honestly couldn’t recommend Alex and Pegasus highly enough. Myles absolutely loves his sessions with Alex and genuinely looks forward to them, which says everything!

Alex is an exceptional tutor. He is warm, friendly, incredibly engaging and has a brilliant way of explaining things so that they feel interesting and achievable rather than intimidating. He has taken the time to really get to know Myles, understand how he learns and, importantly, build his confidence.

What I particularly appreciate is how encouraging and positive Alex is. If Myles gets something wrong or finds a topic difficult, Alex never allows him to become disheartened. He helps him understand exactly where he has gone wrong, reassures him and gives him the confidence to try again. He manages to challenge him while still making the lessons enjoyable, which is a rare skill.

As a parent, I also really value the communication and genuine interest Alex takes in how Myles is progressing. It never feels like “just another tutoring session” you can tell that he genuinely cares about the children he works with and wants them to succeed.

Myles has had a fantastic experience with Pegasus and we feel very lucky to have found Alex. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to any parent looking for an outstanding, engaging and genuinely caring tutor.

Pegasus Tutors are fantastic. We had a pretty specific challenge and I didn't really know how to choose the best tutor for my Daughter. Alex was super helpful and asked me lots of questions in order to make the best recommendation for her. The match was perfect and I really don't believe my Daughter would have got the results she did without the upfront advice, matching and high quality tuition. You will pay more going through an agency, but worth every penny as far as I'm concerned and Pegasus rates are comparable to others I enquired with. Overall excellent value for the results gained.

We’ve been using Pegasus for nearly a decade and they always come up trumps. Primary school English, 13+ school entry, GCSE and A level support and now Oxbridge support! They provide the best tutors time after time – so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. You always get tutor profiles (usually short videos) so you have a choice and the preparation they put into each lesson is phenomenal. Both our children have ADHD and all the tutors have had experience of working with neurodiversity. Alex, the owner, is a lovely guy. We couldn’t fault them and would 100% recommend them. Great value too.

Their website was really helpful in finding the right tutor, thanks to bios. Our Pegasus tutor, Alfie, is incredible. He is able to cover every subject my son is taking in great detail and tailors each lesson. Alfie establishes and focuses on areas where extra support is needed and has been astounding at building my son's confidence in every aspect where previously he'd shied away.
