We enjoyed the tour very much! The tour guide James Wang was very experienced. He arranged things perfectly, gave us useful detail information all the time.

The scenery was so beautiful, I recommend that all retired people should go and see - since we don't have too much time to explore the world due to our age.

This was a wonderful and memorable Turkey experience for me. Our tour guide Davis Nie was humorous and detail oriented. The meals included were excellent. I highly recommend this tour.

12- day Span and Portugal trip. The hotel left a lot to be desired. The itinerary was too tight, and the 12-day trip could be shortened to 10. Breakfast was at 7:00, and dinner was after 8:00, leaving us scrambling to shower and get into bed every day. The first five rows of seats on the bus were priced at an extra 100 euros per person, leaving two or three rows unsold, which was a bit unreasonable. The tour guide, Wei Chen, was excellent and dedicated.

In September 2025, my husband and I joined PeonyTours' Tour: PSF - Northern Europe and Fjord’s. Granted this was a high C/P value tour, but below are areas of improvement:
1) Unlike other Peony tours, our tour guide did not want to form any social media group to facilitate communication (e.g. meeting time, place, etc.) and caused unnecessary delays and confusions. Peony should enforce this for all tour guides.
2) On departure date, only one trip to airport in the morning. Eight of us had afternoon flights all had to arrange our own transportation to the Helsinki airport.
3) Very few (only one) dinner at local restaurants for tour group members to enjoy local food and culture. Most of us didn't mind paying for such event on our own.

In general speaking, I felt a little bit disappointed about the trip. There weren't that many nice and beautiful scenery to visit. The tour took us to visit the old churches and castles. Barcelona got a lot of things to explore but we didn't have enough time to observe.
My suggestion to this tour is try to eliminate some of unnecessary visits at the small cities. Only stop for lunch break. That might come up another day of visit at Barcelona which is the place attracted more tourists or extent one more day on the tour. So far the tour arrangements was great.

Tour guide was sick and lost her voice, we could barely heard what she was talking. In this case, the tour guide should have used the wechat group chat for detailed daily activities, including time, what, where, when and time. I can't image they could not make a wechat template for daily schedule for what, when, where, time duration etc since they have been doing this multiple times.
For people who don't understand verbal Mandarin Chinese like myself, it was frustrating since I asked Peony personally on the phone that Peony told me that there will be also English translation but there was none. The only verbal English i heard from the toru guide were only names of the places.

All arrangements were smooth and tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable.

我刚结束了10/7 至10/18 的土耳其之旅，对行程中的吃住行安排都很满意，尤其对聂导印象深刻，他照顾团队周到细致负责，对人总是笑脸相迎，他工作效率高，我们三十多人的大团，每次到酒店都能很快拿到钥匙回房休息，有时到房间不好走，聂导总是安排人员帮我们送行李，谢谢聂导的照顾。
对公司的建议是，我们乘坐的大巴虽然比较舒适，但美中不足的是，车上没有洗手间，对有时长达两三个小时不能停车的状态下，对客人是个很大的挑战，长时间憋尿对身体也是个伤害。有位七十八岁的长者告诉我她因为害怕路上要上洗手间，一天都不敢喝水。希望公司能够给予考虑。

I enjoyed trip very much. Trip schedule and activities perfectly arranged. Tour guide Jean did excellent job and showed her professional manner to make trip fun and interesting.

2025年9月4日参加的北欧团，整体行程安排得很好，各方面体验都不错。唯一的问题是，在自费项目和小费方面出现了混乱，尤其是在不同导游交替更换的过程中，有些已向之前导游付款的项目未能有效交接给后续导游，导致我们部分项目重复付费，造成了一些不愉快的经历。

另外，特别感谢司机，他非常专业，开车也十分谨慎，感谢他的辛勤付出。同时也感谢导游Sam Lin，虽然他只带了我们几天，但非常尽责且富有亲和力，谢谢他！

I didn’t have good impression on local tour guides’ lack of transparency when I visited France and Italy in the past; therefore, our first time to Turkey was full of ????? But this Turkey tour by Peony was absolutely stunning. Peony Tour Guide Davis Nieh thought of the customers in every aspect and carried out things according to the situation at the time. Local guide was knowledgeable. Bus driver’s driving skill is outstanding. Highly recommend this tour.

My husband and I had our first escorted trip booked with Peony Tours. We booked this trip because we were attracted by the keyword “Silk Road” of the itinerary and indeed we have had many wonderful experiences this time. The highlights were retracing partially the Silk Road route in the Gansu Hexi Corridor, Qinghai and Xinjiang. In addition to the great entertainment during the entire 12 days, we gained a lot of historical, cultural, geographical and ethnic knowledge. Especially we appreciated our tour leaders Jacky and Gary, as well as the local guides. They were all very professional and helpful. We gave 5 stars to this well-organized tour.

the tour guy is very professional and sufficiency. The food and hotel are good.

I think the trip has taken too long from north Italy to south Italy. so, we spent lots of time in traveling.
I would rather to have shorter trip and spent more time at each attraction.

We recently took the 12-day Spain & Portugal tour with Mr. Wei Chen. The trip was great in many ways on experience and exploration, such as various historical sites, beautiful sceneric views, fancy local food, and unique culture exploration. For me, what makes this trip more interesting and enjoyable compared to our other trips is Mr. Chen's detailed and interesting introduction and explanation on the history / culture of the relevant countries/regions. Mr. Chen's professionalism, humor, and easy-going temper all helped to form a great tour group and made members a great tour experience. Our bus driver Claudia delievered a great job too.

We joined Gems of Europe tour on 9/25/2025. This is a great tour for us as the first time to travel in Europe. The tour guide, Jeffery Liu have done a good job through the whole trips. We highly recommend this tour for people never been in Europe and would like to have a general experience about European countries.

We were happy with the France tour: Good sceneries and good food. We were also very lucky to have a great tour guide Ms. Liming Pan. There were few issues (e.g. driver started late on day 1 and a hotel was switched last minute) but didn’t affect the overall tour experience.
