Customer service is poor

I am currently awaiting JPM completing an investigation into the transfer of an ISA from another provider as a cash ISA into JPM stocks and shares ISA.
Basically JPM requested the wrong ISA from another provider, that other provider promptly froze the stocks and shares ISA and sold off all the shares ready to transfer the cash amount to JPM before the transfer could be cancelled.
JPM are taking quite some time to investigate and I estimate I have spoken with a different person each time I have called or messaged.
I can’t say I get a good vibe about the JPM customer services although I have had some great customer service from Chase who I bank with and are part of the JPM brand.
I will update this review on completion of the investigation and findings of the Financial Ombudsman.

Supporting new customers with a great service

As a new customer to JP Morgan, and wanting to seek guidance around transferring funds from a SIP into a Stocks & Shares ISA, I was quickly able to speak with one of the online advisers (Stewart) who understood what I was seeking to do, provided me with supporting information, and informed me of suggested next steps. I was then able to book a call in with a Wealth Advisor, reducing any anxiety I have and all responded to/booked in within a short timeframe. A great first impression.

Query re a transfer

Recently I had cause to query why a transfer from my ISA and General pot to my ISA account was not accessible. Andrea provided a prompt and comprehensive reply which impressed me and for which I was (and am) grateful. I hope her boss sees this.

Appalling customer service & misinformation led to missing ISA deadline

Have been in contact with customer support for weeks to confirm that funds would be allocated to an ISA before the deadline of 5th April.

I followed their steps exactly, only to be told on the deadline day that the funds are not eligible to be allocated to an ISA.

Absolutely unacceptable and appalling customer experience.

Chat functionally is exceptionally good. Contact via message takes two days so if something is needed urgently it can be a real pain.
