Tried the free trial just to watch the 88 Beetlejuice movie. It had to watch adds that’s normal. But the adds were in 5 minute long each! Made the movie at least 30 minutes longer! That’s so tired stopped the movie then tried to look for the next day, could not find it.

Just here to follow up on everyone else's shady business practice comments. Yeah, they did the same to me. Philo charged twice now after I canceled a free trial in August, and claiming still have an account when there is no account anywhere. Well they now have an email and phone number so now they can keep ripping me off. Now, I have to dispute with the bank. Scam, not worth it.

The political commercials are too much. I am canceling before my free trial is up. Not going to spend that much money on constant commercials.

I got the free week to see a movie I couldn't find anywhere else. Their content is lame, they charge $40 a month and for every 20 minutes or so of watching it seems like you have to watch close to 5 minutes of commercials, 5 minutes! What a lame option.

Philo actually does control the advertising on their platform. The commercials like 'boss moves with rashida' and all the mtv and vh1 commercials that they constantly show are Philo commercials. It does not matter what station you are watching either. The other streaming services do not show these commercials. This is the reason we no longer subscribe to Philo. Complete trashy commercials. ALL THE TIME TOO!

Philo is a great deal for the price!

I've been a subscriber for years, and they've been great. Those complaining about "wokeness" and other dumb things like that don't understand that Philo doesn't choose the advertising. They will absolutely listen if you have a concern over a particular ad.

Philo has kept their word, and even though the prices has crept up a bit over the years, I pay the same price, because they honor their pricing. Whenever they raise the price, they generally add channels. As an existing subscriber, you can pay more to get the new channels, or keep what you have and pay the same. Not many companies do that!

Why do they have to put a MTV advertisement while I'm trying to watch TV

I feel like these channels have too many commercials you can't even enjoy the show because of all the commercials it's RIDICULOUS so RIDICULOUS I don't even wanna subscribe to Philo anymore I hate this crap!!!!!!! Will be searching for a new place to watch

Every time I try to watch Philo it takes over an hour to load if at all versus all my other services that load immediately. I am so tired of just staring at the Philo logo. It’s not worth $28 a month when I don’t even get 28 minutes a month of viewing…

$28/mo for endless ads… No thanks! We were getting 2+ minute ads every 4 minutes. This “provider” is milking people from their $28, then is obtaining another $28 through the copious amounts of ads they think is acceptable. Might as well get a real provider.

This app not worth it you can be watching something and instead of the channel already rec what your watching you have to wait hours to watch again nean while other apps doesn't do that live or not if the show is on there and I've already started watching it or have watch it it allows me to continue where I left off or start over this is definitely an over charge for this app

I do not like Philo because for one I should be able to watch whatever I want to watch either it's the whole season or not I shouldn't have to watch what show you want me to watch on a certain day on a certain time that's why I will stick to Hulu,Netflix, Peacock,and Pluto because they let me watch what I want to watch when I want to watch it even if it's the whole season I get to pick what episodes I went to watch period point blank.

Best channel selection for the best price. No idea why all these complaints, I've had this service for years now with zero issues. Still locked in at the $20/mo price from when I signed up. They only have 1 plan which is now 25/mo. All these complaining can go pay 60+/mo somewhere else and still have stuff to complain about. If you just want the basic good channels without a bunch of add ons that jack the price up this is for you. Over 70 paid channels, plus a ton of extra free channels with DVR and vod service for this price.... You won't find a better option.

The chat reps are rude and childish

Philo is the worst. Having 20-30 min tacked onto a movie you are watching because of the unnecessary amount of commercials they make you watch WHILE paying almost $30 a month is complete B.S. I'm watching Pearl Harbor and was happy to see that there were only 5 commercials, each roughly 2½ minutes long. I had 52 minutes left of the movie when I paused it and when I pressed play it added on 5 additional commercials before the end of the movie. I am beyond fed up with Philo.

Refused to give me a refund even though I had proof I got charged twice for the same subscription...Google said they could not help and Philo refused

I tried, and tried signing up for my 7 day free trial o my Roku tv, and online on my laptop. They lie and send you an email when in reality they deny you the free trial nobody answers you on why it doesn’t work horrible horrible service Sling is much better.

Here we are again with an app FORCING us to watch commercials!!!!!

I pay extra to NOT see these and yet..... you force them on us!!!!

Philo doesn't take money from your account... they don't control the channels commercials people always have to find a reason to complain... as long as you keep the app updated and the streaming device you're using Philo runs perfectly smooth

I signed up with Philo on a 7 day free trial. I got through 2 seasons, then the episodes began disappearing on season 3 while in the middle of watching. The 1st 2 representatives I spoke to regarding this said I could watch it on paramount, a sister company & use my sign in info to watch it there....WRONG! Couldn't sign in & there was no way to watch on paramount. I called back a 3rd time. The representative initially said I could watch on paramount & I said no, you can not & if so, walk me through. He put me on hold & finally confirmed I was correct. He said it was because I was on a free trial. How sneaky is that to try to get you to sign up & become a customer to watch more episodes?! I told him to cancel my trial early, which he did. I then looked at reviews of people complaining that they still charge you after cancelation, so I called my credit card company. Not to mention they are woke af! You should see the grooming commercials....beyond disgusting! You're forced to watch their pro liberal, pro socialist woke ideology of never ending commercials; pro abortion, dancing drag queens, men kissing in an aids medication commercial etc., and these are on family friendly shows! Beyond disgusting, not to mention their incompetent representatives! I'm sick and tired of these woke companies jamming this crap down our throats everywhere I turn. I'm not feeding into the delusional agenda of the mentally ill! GO WOKE GO BROKE!
