Master's in Eduction - C&I
The University of Phoenix Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) program is a great option for working educators. It offers strong flexibility while still maintaining a meaningful, rigorous learning experience.
What stands out most is how practical the program is—everything connects directly to real classroom practice. The focus on data-driven instruction, student engagement, and reflective teaching makes the learning immediately useful. The collaborative discussions also allow you to learn from other educators and gain new perspectives.
Overall, it’s a valuable program that supports professional growth and helps educators make a real impact in their classrooms.

I would like to have an option to take more classes. I think there needs better feedback on the assignments and have the professor explain how you could improve. I would also like feedback when I summit a paper in early and have the chance to polish it up and get a better grade. I would also want to know how to use the writing center for helping with my paper not just explaining the writing format.

Great instructors
Great instructors, helpful, and care about their students being successful.
I'm glad I chose University of Phoenix
University of Phoenix is great because it literally lives up to its mission and statement. A very good learning experience at your own pace, yet still with structure. For the most part, you have excellent instructors who are dedicated to your learning and your success in accomplishing goals, and there are a few instructors who are just horrible, and you have to pray you pass the class because they are not there for your learning; they are only there for a paycheck. The enrollment specialists are awesome, the academic counselors are great with good follow-up, and all of the resources offered are great and useful tools that will help you to succeed. My advice for any student who needs a tutor in math subjects is to reserve an appointment before the class even starts because they will be booked and busy from the start to the end of your class, or seek tutoring from another place. My best advice is to not overlook all of the resources offered to you; it really does help you and is a huge plus for navigating your goals.

Instructors provide no assistance or teaching. They leave random copied and pasted replies under discussion posts that have nothing to do with what you’ve said. Advisors give inconsistent information and usually end up being wrong. There is no support.

Always Financial Aid issue and Lost Staff
The Classes and Teachers are great, but the staff are never on the same page, and there’s always an issue with Financial Aid and they just have a that’s you issue attitude, and are poor at communication because to call to ask some questions you have already answered maybe even twice prior! Not about anything that’s going on with you account or if there’s issues!

Passion for enriching students
My experience with UOP was great. My professors presented data and examples that I can use to my day to day operations at work.
They took time to ensure I was grasping concepts and provided positive feedback and ensure that I was coming along good.
Professors were passionate about ensuring the students were up to date and current with tasks and willing to help catch you up if needed.

I rate a 3 because I wish there was more interaction with classmates and teacher . What i mean by that is no live chats with zoom meetings with the class to go over assignments sometimes im lost and I can assure orhers have been to and waiting for a reply can take a week at times. But other then that its not a bad experience.
