phone disconnected, they have my 2500 deposit. what a scam

Worst moving company ever. They did the same thing to me as all the other reviews are saying. Gave me a great price and then it tripled when they got there. It's to late to change your mind because they already have some of your money. On top of that, I watched them load my stuff and was satisfied. But when they got to my distanation it was in a totally different truck. They had unloaded it and loaded it in another truck. My Harley Davidson was totalled, my furniture was broken and I watched them drop an end table out of the back of the truck. I called numerous times to complain with no return phone calls until finally I told them I got a hold of a lawyer. They answered them but turned me over to a waist of time trying to get them to reimburse me for damages. They are a fraud and don't deal with them.

They initially quoted me an amazing price and I was foolish enough to think I had found a great deal. Then the day of the move when it was too late for me to make other arrangements, they told me I had more stuff then they originally had thought and charged me an extra 4,000, which was twice as much they had originally quoted, and more than any other moving company! I found out they are actually not a moving company themselves, they simply sell the job to another business to do the move and take the holding fee for themselves. They don't care what happens to you after you've given them the money. They are a nightmare to get hold of. Please please please use someone else.

Movers did NOT show up!!! An awful company that will steal your deposit and not return it. NO services were done for us and we had to scramble to move out of our home.

Gave them "$899" deposit. The man who took the deposit has a disconnected phone number. His email address does not work.
No phone numbers on the wedsite work. "561 600 1439" unavailable. "888 315 3691" unavailable.
"888 565 5734" not in service. Had no way to cancel their service. Lisa Romano "561 565 6301" called 1 week before scheduled pickup date. I tried to cancel then, but not possible. Was told the man who got my deposit no longer worked for the company. Basically stole my "$899", was given no way to contact them by phone or email.

Bewear of this company. My initial quote was $4,000. My ending payment was $9,700. Pinnacle movers hired City movers from Los Angeles and their Forman ripped us off $1,200 dollars. Once the truck was packed, then City Movers Forman says that I went over the allotted space and must pay $1,200 dollars more. They actually followed me to Bank of America so I could withdraw $1,000 dollars, I had two hundred on me. I gave it to their Forman only to have him deny that this money was given. All this took place on September 16th, 2021 and here it is October 1st, 2021 and we still do not have our furniture.

This company stole the name of a reputable one in order to fraud movers. They were a nightmare with communication; they would not answer phone calls and instead used texts, normally taking hours to respond to the simplest requests. They underquoted the size needed to move (so much so that I'm positive it was intentional). I'm sure they would have overcharged us if we had ended up using them to move, but they eventually contacted us the day the movers were supposed to arrive to tell us that the wouldn't be there. THE DAY OF! We cancelled our contract within the 48 hours allotted in said contract, and that was the last we ever heard from the company. We have not, and I assume now will not, hear back about a refund that they legally owe us. THIS IS FRAUD. We tried calling to sort things out and the line is disconnected. They used checks instead of credit card so that your bank cannot dispute their fraud, forcing you to go to small claims court in Palm Beach county (where they are located supposedly). This company committed textbook fraud and I am astounded that they are even allowed to operate as a company.

Total nightmare of a company. Shady and crooked people. They took our advance but never showed up for the packing or moving. The agent Brandon was very polite and nice and they trick you by telling that you need to book the truck ASAP or you will miss the date. So, I paid the advance and then they refused to pick up my calls or answer my emails/texts a week before the move. They called 2 days before the move and said that they need to charge an extra $2500 otherwise they cannot accommodate the move and we agreed. I got in touch with an another person who used them and apparently they held her stuff hostage and refused to deliver until they got paid extra $$. Dodged a bullet there by not using them but we still lost our $2000 advance. They do not answer our calls anymore. We sold our house and needed to vacate the place and our move totally derailed because of these people. Stay away from them. Please read the BBB article on moving scams and literally every thing they described on that article is what they did to us. They buy the reviews on other sites. How do businesses like these even operate without any moral scruples?

So absolutely unprofessional. Adam got sarcastic and rude with me when I told him we were going another route. He’ll tell you my review is fake and paid for because they can’t admit to their crap reviews. I get that everyone’s fighting for business during this crazy “everyone’s moving” time but professionalism goes a long way and they do not have it.

Do not trust this company. First, they are a broker, and they contracted with a company who had lost their DOT license just a few months before then created a new name. They insisted I would only be charged for the cubic feet I used in the truck and even talked me into booking more space "just in case" because "I could give you a discount now." The company they contracted with insisted that it was the full amount (it was way less than half). When trying to talk to Pinnacle about this they either did not answer the phone or said they would get back to me and never did. The scammed me out of thousands and thousands of dollars. When my stuff arrived it was mixed with others' and a few things were broken. I also ended up with other peoples' things and they ended up with mine. They are con artists, please do not hire them for your sake. I doubt I'll ever get my money back but I want to prevent others from experiencing this.

The Pinnacle Moving were there on time and were incredibly nice and professional. I highly recommend them for my move! The team that came to move me was very accommodating and cooperative; the team was communicating with me every step of the way

This is not a moving company, they are a Broker which means they will call/hire a moving company and you will pay for both. Spoke to Kenny grossly underestimated my house hold goods to the tune of several thousands of dollars. Very responsive they tell you what you, want to hear(low ball) price wise. Once they earn your business that professionalism is gone. Kenny said due to COVID movers dont come do visual inspections its all via estimates and telephone. I sold my house, packers came to do a one day move turned into two. More money. Unfortunately I had no time to cancel and rebook with another entity. A fact I am sure Pinnacle Moving Storage was counting on. July 14, 2021 house hold good was packed by American Home Movers(great personnel and good job). Here it is August 2, 2021 and I have tried to contact Pinnacle via email and telephone unsuccessfully. Kenny even provided a direct number. They also sent two different companies to pack me out. Horrible service and I have no idea where my belongings are. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH PINNACLE MOVING AND STORAGE.

DO NOT TRUST stole $2,150 from us. When Kenny took our call he promised that as long as we cancelled within 2 weeks that we could trust him we could get our money back. We were in the midst of escrow and knew that if it didn’t go through, we would not relocate. HE LIED. They won’t return calls or have a discussion about it. Once you sign, you are screwed because everything he tells you is crap and the signature is the only thing that matters. RUN, RUN, RUN.

These guys were great; they took great care with all of our items and put them in the rooms we wanted them in once they arrived at our new home. They were all super nice and professional and I would highly recommend all 4 of them as well as Pinnacle Moving for any size move.

when I first contacted them about the move, they were not the cheapest, but they had all the promises. When I received the quote from them, it was offering me a 44% discount. which I thought was great. In the estimate it says that after the 44% discount it will be $2,160.00 but the total tariff could be 3870. When the mover got here, he took one look around and said that it's not enough cubic feet he's going to have to charge me $5,870.00 Or I can pick and choose what I want to bring. so I said to him I want what is listed on the inventory list taken to be onto your truck. I think he thought he was going to be able to hold me over a barrel and make me pay whatever he wanted. I said I will go by the contract you can charge me up to 3,870.00 I will even go to 4,000.00 even to make things easy. He said he can't do that he will not to be to hide that much stuff I don't know whose fault it is the salesperson who underestimated or the mover himself who is there to just up sell me. nevertheless, never use pinnacle they are con artists and up sellers. STAY FART AWAY FOR THIS COMPANY

Cancelled ON our move day, first claiming the truck was in an accident and later claiming it was “mechanical issues”. We asked them to please make alternate arrangements. After several hours of no resolution, we had no choice but to rent a truck and complete the move ourselves. They promised me a refund yet I still don’t have it 6 weeks later. They ignore my requests.

The only reason I'm giving one star is because there's no way to give zero stars. It started with an original quote of $2,500, and then a day before the move with very little change the quote went up to $8,000. They gave us a 3-day window and of course on the third day in the morning they call and said that they would be here at noon. At 1:00 p.m. we get a call saying that they sold our contract to another company that has the worst reviews I've ever seen. I canceled the move lost $3,000 and felt very deceived. It turns out that this company is not a moving company but a broker. This means that they will do nothing to move your stuff and are looking to sell your contract to another company of their choice. It was a disaster and I had only one day to recover and figure out a plan b. They made an already stressful situation untenable.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY....thee people quote low then when it's time to move claim they didnt sell you enough space on the truck and attempt to hold you hostage for more money - - worst experience ever!!!!!

BAIT AND SWITCH! INCOMPLETE SERVICE!
I had same experience with Kenny as the review posted three days ago. Kenny took an inventory of everything that was being moved and quoted a price. When the subcontractor came to pick the furniture up the price was DOUBLE what I had been quoted. Half of the furniture had to be left behind in order to meet the original price. Then, when the furniture arrived in Florida it was a "drop and run" job. The subcontractor insisted on collecting the remainder payment in cash before they unloaded the truck. When they were done unloading they jumped in the truck and drove away. They wouldn't stay while we inventoried the furniture and did not re-assemble the furniture as required in the contract.
