Great crispy base and crust
Used 4 times now and have got the hang of it quite quickly.
Much superior results than a conventional oven - you get a great crispy base and a great crust.
10 minutes to warm up and max of 4 minutes to cook your pizza .

Ok, it takes 6-8 minutes if you make pizza with many toppings, but still crust comes out absolutely amazing! Never go back to normal oven with stone!

we have a home-made oven made from clay. We have had massive problams with the base - everything cracks in the heat. - we even tried granite tiles!!! our pizza stone is great. It even came with a nice personal greeting on the box - many thanks!!!

Unreasonably overpriced and company trying to justify poorly the prices.
The Effeuno P134H® 509 with biscotto oven is sold in Italy at 682€ with free national shipping. However, Pizzaunited is selling the same one for £799 (equivalent to 940€) and on top of that charging £40 for delivery (which brings it to a total of 986€). Essentially you are paying 50% more than the Italian price, for no apparent reason. I could understand if it was a private seller, but this is the official reseller of Effeuno (who do not ship abroad), which means they are making a huge unjustified margin on an already expensive product whilst offering nothing more to balance it out. This game of Effeuno and Pizza United is simply disgusting for the consumers, really.
Update: following my previous review (above) the seller responded to me. Pizza United tried to justify the 50% markup compared to the Italian price, justifying it with "The reason for the situation is simple and obvious: the situation during, and after covid, and after Brexit, has a significant impact on everything you mentioned above. Costs of the materials, lack of the materials, fuel, additional import costs as customs service and taxes." and "import VAT, customer service before, during, and after purchasing, customs cost, and especially the transport costs."
First of all, the material cost does not concern you, since you are a retailer of a product built in Italy. Similarly, the customer service before, during and after purchasing is also provided by Effeuno in Italy, but it does not increase ridiculously their price. The only realistic expense would be the transportation from Italy to UK, which would however be mitigated by the bulk transportation of products (only private buyers need an individual ad-hoc shipping). For that, a light mark-up would be justified. However, charging for the delivery also nationally, after offering already a hugely overpriced product, is just ridiculous. In fact, the price of the oven in Italy is taking in consideration cost of materials, customer service before, during and after purchase, and still providing free shipping. Here you are suggesting that import tax and shipping cost are about 300 Euro (£255) for EACH OVEN, which is just not realistic since you buy in bulk and, ironically, it would be even cheaper for a private buyer. It is more realistic to think that out of these 300 euros, 200 go in your pocket and the rest cover the mentioned expenses.
You are welcome to post the breakdown of your costs, if you are really convinced about the authenticity of your justifications.

Your judgement of the situation is not exactly fair and missed a few factors.
You missed a lot of additional costs of our offer as: import VAT, customer service before, during, and after purchasing, customs cost, and especially the transport costs.
We've asked our partners about exactly the same thing, why the cost of the transport has increased, why the cost of the oven has been changed. The producer changed the price a few times last year and this year. Maybe you've noticed that Pizza United didn't do that and we kept the previous offer for almost a whole last year. Our offer has been changed recently.
The reason for the situation is simple and obvious: the situation during, and after covid, and after Brexit, has a significant impact on everything you mentioned above. Costs of the materials, lack of the materials, fuel, additional import costs as customs service and taxes. It's not only about pizza ovens but about any goods imported to the UK.
We are doing our best to keep the offer as good as we can for you and for all customers, and we are very sorry about your opinion. You can check the opinions from current customers about our company. Unfortunately, we don't have any impact on the transportation cost and on the customs regulations, and the general situation on the market in these unfortunate circumstances.

We explained the reasons and you again missed some factors, for instance, any changes in our offer during covid, or customs costs after brexit. You missed also the quality of our service.
We are the same disappointed as you, and we are still trying to find a solution how to make our offer better.
However, we do not agree to manage our offer by you, Madam or Sir. Every opinion is very important to us, and we'll do our best to meet customers' expectations in the future, in better circumstances.
As you see, we are operating for more than 2 years, and the best proof of our quality of service and products are the opinions of our customers.
If you are our customer, you probably know that we are the best distributor of the ovens in the UK, and you know that the quality of our customer service and customers' satisfaction are the most important for us. Best pizza oven
Oven arrived after 2 working days, driver even offered to carry it in to the kitchen. Loved the hand written note on the box. Cooked our first pizza that night in 4 minutes and it was delicious. Easy to use and have recommended it to friends.
