I’ve had my Sungrow 20 since 2022 and figured it’s about time I leave a review.

Short version: it’s been great.

I was a bit nervous buying something like this online without seeing it in person, but it turned out to be way sturdier than I expected. We get some pretty rough weather here in Ontario—snow, wind, the whole mix—and it’s held up without any problems.

It definitely took a bit of time to put together (plan a full weekend), but nothing crazy if you’re patient. Once it was up, though, I haven’t really had to touch it. That’s probably my favorite part—no constant maintenance.

I use it mainly to start seedlings early and keep things going later into the season, and it’s made a noticeable difference. Everything just grows better in a more controlled environment.

Also worth mentioning: I did reach out to support during setup, and they got back to me pretty quickly, which I appreciated.

Overall, super happy with it. If you’re on the fence, I’d say go for it.

Bought 2 Tobato 5 – Dutch Bucket Hydroponic Growing Systems. Worked great at first then the drip system stopped working. Now have to hand water the plants to keep them alive. Have tried everything to fix it to no avail. The whole point wast to have an automatic hydroponics system. Now I have a worthless planter. Don’t waste your money.

I live in Canada and purchased an Alpine model (24'x48'). We had the room on the property so went big and use the greenhouse as a storage area in the winter when I am not growing. We had a few shipping issues (damage) and a couple of window issues but we had the ABSOLUTE best Customer Service on every issue. Thank you to Paulette Thompson and all the team support provided to us since 2023.

We just purchased our 10 x 20 sungrow. Kit was very well put together. Email support was excellent. Answered all questions same day. Paper manuals are a bit tough to work with as you try and orient the braces in the right fashion. All parts were accounted for. Framework went together nicely. My wife and I did the entire frame in 2 t0 3 days.. working on and off. Watch the videos...its 100 percent on the mark and so much easier to follow. So far so good.

I purchased the Sungrow 32ft greenhouse because of its glowing reviews of quality and great customer service, which I have found is not the case. These greenhouse kits have the lowest quality of material. I know because we had to replace both hardware and greenhouse panels after shipping damage 3 different times. We found a greenhouse warehouse where you can buy material for greenhouses and their lowest quality (cheapest) materials are what Planta uses. Which tells you they’re ripping you off!

My story, we got our greenhouse kit delivered 2 weeks late and had visible shipping damage. Many of the poly-panels were damaged, and customer service took another 2 weeks to even get a replace order in. Another shipment came with a huge puncture from a board during shipping. Customer service supposedly sent another replacement which was never received. 3 months later and we had to replace the damage ourselves. I’m currently working to file a complaint against Planta with the company since they obviously won’t fix their shipping issues.

If you’ve considered purchasing these greenhouse, run don’t walk. Its high priced junk!

The greenhouse is decent, but leaks. Took a crew of 3-4 handy neighbors to help us, and about 1 1/2 months of mornings. Also, one window handle was defective. I tried twice to get the whole handle kit, and they only sent part of it - both times! Plus the second time they were really jerks about it. Buy somewhere else.

I purchased the 10x20 Sungrow greenhouse. The greenhouse is fine, but assembly was a nightmare. It took 2 fairly handy people over 15 hours (3 weekends) to assemble. If I could go back, I'd put the $3500 and 15 hours toward building a custom, more permanent greenhouse.
