What a great opportunity! I've been testing games for about six months, and it's been pretty easy and fun! I usually only need to play for an hour and then get my compensation in about three days. I haven't done a lot of tests, but I can't complain about playing games and getting paid!

I am writing this review after carefully using this app for some time. I am really excited to share my experience as I got a test and got my first payment. I can confidently say that this website is 100% genuine and it pays very quickly. The onboarding process was very easy and once you complete this onboarding test you get approved. You will get games to test and give your thoughts aloud and once the response is recorded it will be submitted. There is so much clarity and step by step guide to help you on every way. The payment options are also great as you get to choose gift cards as well as PayPal. They are very professional in their conduct and they don't hide anything. I would highly recommend this app for game testing and it is worth your valuable time.

I don't get too many work opportunities with Playtester as they fill up fast, but when I do, the experience is always professional and hassle free. Their app works well and the games offered are fun. Payment is on time and I feel a higher rate than other places offer.

I like the playtest experience and I’ve done 3 test so far from being in it for over a year and a half mainly due to the fact that qualifying emails are sent at reasonable times in the day but i constantly wake up a few hours late due to the playtest being sent out at 4 am and then receive another chance the next morning and then get last chance at 1 pm which by then all slots are gone by the time I check email or app. I don’t know why I receive the playtest only during early morning when Im asleep. Also 2/3 playtest I’ve done we’re just pure luck from checking the app at random times because majority of the time you see an email from 2-3 hours ago the offer is already gone even if you get more emails of the same playtest in the days following. It’s not worth doing if you value a normal sleep schedule and you live in the USA

I have only completed 1 playstest, but the process was smooth and the instructions were clear, and I had no problem at all when it comes to the payment, so yes, it is legit. The only thing I do not like is that I only got 1 playtest after like 2 years of creating my profile with them, but other than that everything is great

The UI is intuitive, the instructions were clear, and the payment came through correctly.

I've been a playtester for a few years now and have never had any real issues. Sure... technology is a factor sometimes but rarely and the support is quick to respond and helpful. It's not a way to make a living but it gives you a few extra bucks to enjoy the little things.
I must add that recently the updates to the app have made it much more fluid and comprehensive. I'm very grateful for that.

I love participating in playtest Cloud. Every experience has been well worth my efforts. The payments are a plus for playing these I already love to play.

They want you talking every minute of the playtest when it would be much smarter to just have a summarized talk at the end of it. Focusing on the playtest to analyze whats going should be priority. Having to stop to speak on random things distracts from the experience and immersion of the game defeating the purpose. requirements for payment is ridiculous and working for free when i couldve streamed is not worth my time. You wont find out the results till weeks later. Your better off just streaming a game and making more than the off chance they bother to pay you. i deleted my account and will not be wasting my time with them.

I like this app because we play and test the game is different we play different games and get experienced

I have only completed 2 playtests so far, but my experience has been positive! The playtests and surveys have been fun, and the payment for each was processed in about 2-4 days. There are many options for transferring the payments to me; virtual visa., gift cards, and fund transfers to my bank, Venmo, etc. I'm looking forward to continuing with future opportunities.

Positive experience every time. I always get paid within a quick time frame. The company does exactly what they promise. They reward you fairly for your time and feedback.

My experience with PlaytestCloud has been overall great. One of the standout features is their support team; they respond to requests very quickly and are always incredibly understanding.

Additionally, they offer many game testing selections. Having such a wide variety of games to test really enriches the UX and keeps the process engaging. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get into playtesting!

I created my account several years ago, and honestly, all those 5-star reviews seem very questionable. Since registering, I have never received a single test opportunity, even though my profile has been fully and correctly completed the entire time. It has been years with no activity whatsoever. From my perspective, this platform feels like a scam and a way to collect user data rather than provide real testing opportunities.

I recommend doing this i got paid in 2 days after i did the playtest and it is legit if you are looking to playtest any games or earn any spare money then this is for you.

Update 5/10/2026: ever since i have posted the review i haven't really gotten any playtests until a few weeks later i got an email from playtestcloud saying if im interested in doing a playtest i am aware that it can take quite some time to get another playtest but it would be nice if they can improve it by getting playtests faster and it would also be nice if they can send playtests later in the day afternoon/evening instead of the morning as many people don't have the time to do playtests in the morning and that can cause people to miss an opportunity to earn money.

Update: 5/25/2026 They just sent me an email nearly an hour ago and it says i have to playtest for 60 minutes and it hasnt even been 60 minutes when i checked the email and when i clicked on get started it said that the spots were filled up already so far i haven't had any good luck with playtestcloud i wouldn't recommend them at all now anymore if you want to earn money you might just want to do surveys or something this isn't really worth your time.

I love this app! Absolutely amazing team, always helpful when help is needed. I completed plenty of tests with them and i was always paid in time.

I’ve been with PlayTest for well over 15 years and I love being able to add my input for newly developed games and games that are being improved. I don’t expect to strike it rich, I just love doing this.

I've been using Playtest for a couple of years now (maybe 3 years now). They always send me questionnaires to see if I qualify for tests. I don't always get selected, but when I do, I always follow their steps, and they always pay me for my work within a week from submission.

Don't get too excited, though. You're not making thousands of dollars here. You're willing to test games from developers, usually for 15 to 30 minutes, and they will pay the agreed amount before you sign up and correctly follow their tasks and steps. The only downside of this whole program, though, is that the number of questionnaires they send you doesn't feel adequate to the number of times you get selected. You will get many questionnaires as a prequalification, but don't hold out hope for being picked for a test. There's also another aspect: if you do get selected, you have to read that email immediately. The first person to read their emails and accept the tasks is the ones who win. No big deal. Just how the game works. For this reason, I have to remove 1 star. I believe that is fair considering the time I've taken to fill out every questionnaire I've ever gotten. I haven't skipped any of them all these years.

This is a great side gig for people who love games for sure. Thank you for this opportunity, Playtest. I do look forward to more frequent tests, especially on the PC platform. I enjoy doing them on there.
